    Further testing on PTS, and the delay on incap nearly destroys any utility of surprise attack's/concealed stun, again the LA weaving is important to the flow of combat.

    you say adapt and move on my magsorc friends? How about put 400 ms cast times on shields again and we will then all do the same dance we always do...just 400 ms slower. :D

    All in all I love the rest of the changes, magblades getting magivigor (mutagen) is very nice and vMA resto now has a definitive use. Healing ward ticks are nutz as tested, maybe the heal will get hit by battle spirit (double taxation?) after PTS cycle.

    Terrible change, its hard enough to ult dump zergs with my small group when we're rooted/snared/immovable pots dont go off, lag, now we gotta sit there for half a second before we can use our ult ? not cool man, not cool.

    Crazy how many of these threads we have now. I hope zos takes the hint (as they should) and reverts this change early on the PTS so there doesn't need to be another 10-20 threads created on the same topic.

    animation canceling was never intended, its not a feature, its an exploit that was never fixed and instead used as a means to increase damage because it could not be fixed by the previous class balance team.
    that team, or atleast some of its leadership and members no longer are here.

    There are eight times the amount of people who do not like cast times vs those who do. So no, its not "alot more that DO want animation canceling REMOVED" you are in the tiny minority who do want cast times.

    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    All of these post about removing animation cancelling are filled with 3 people arguing FOR casts times and a 100 arguing against. The pure number just shows how dedicated they are to not learning the mechanics or their inability to do so.

    Yeah get you something like these and Animation canceling that is being allowed in ESO just makes macroing SOOO easy.
    When someone in pvp kills you in less then a second and you look at the battle log of how you died and what was cast on you and by WHO.
    5 abilities in half a second from the same person LOL.
    It wasnt skill. It was one of these devices combined with the fact that animation canceling is in this game.
    Put a cast time or make it so if you animation cancel then it stops the whole spell or ability from going off because well hell, YOU canceled it lol.
    Cast times or removing anima canceling and POOF , their cheating macro making devices cease to help them haha.
    I dont care what anyone says, because everyone has at one point or another been victim to an insta death from one of these cheaters . That is if youve even played any pvp in eso at all.

    The animation canceling just enables them to be able to utilize these devices.
    Even the XIM4 allows using your macro mouse or macro keyboard on your ps4 or xbox to mimic and appear as a legit console controller and macro as much as you want .

    Animation cancelling helps these devices because it takes away any kind of delay between skill and abilities and strings them together without global cooldowns of any kind.

    My dude, you ever heard of a little thing called the global cooldown? I hear it's this piece of black magic that prevents exactly what you're talking about, and I hear it's already in the game!

    Was thinking that perhaps the people who are for this haven't actually tried this on the PTS. Even those who hate animation canceling might find THEIR "flow" actually being affect by this. I was messing around with more dumbed-down rotations and found it clunkier on PTS compared side-to-side with Live. ALSO CONSIDER THAT LAG WILL INFLUENCE FURTHER this "flow".

    They removed animation canceling once. That did not go well and nearly every player left, so now its back. 7 pages are nothing to hundreds of pages claiming this game needs animation canceling.

    Good or bad, but all those mechanics are already core part of the game, if everything will be time-locked, game will be clunky as hell and imo unplayable. Ditch it, there shouldn't be no cast time, especially on ultimates. Yep, there are exceptions like snipe and dizzying, but that's ok, cast time there needed by natural reasons. (drawing a bow, gathering strength for mighty blow).
    And if ZOS plans to live this cast times for performance reasons or whatever, all those ultimates should be considerably buffed impact-wise.

    the problem is people were CHEESING these abilities to pump out damage FASTER than you are ment to. i'm bloody glad they are finally cutting the gap of "animation cancelling" to actually be bloody CANCELLING.

    AC in ESO is a joke in the AC community, they dont see it as skill its literally a burst booster not a combo creator or a weaving skill.

    the last thing ESO needs is to shortcut the already fast time to kill window, i'm hoping more skills get this treatment so that the gap between a regular player and a "pro" AC spammer gets shortened much more so actual SKILL factors into combat more and not "hurr durr i can clip my attacks so short you cant even react!" as its borderline cheating, its impossible to take this games PVP serious when such a cheese exists.

    agree, it's step in a bad direction.
    If there is too much damage - reduce general burst.
    Not this crap change to get feeling each time like u've got high ping on skill cast.
