There isn't much point in the program since ZOS ignored nearly all the suggestions when buffing and nerfing the classes.

We're in the final stages of choosing some new members for the Class Rep Program to join our existing members. When we have news, we'll let everyone know.

    Thanks for the update!

May I make a few suggestions as the Class Rep program welcomes new members?

    1. The ways to communicate with the Class Reps need to be kept current. The Feedback threads on the Forum were fine, but we'd been asking for months for the official post with the Class Rep discord links to be updated, to no avail.

I really liked that official post and linked it several times when players asked how they could communicate with the Class Reps. It was a useful tool and I was very disappointed to discover that the links were broken and no longer current. Please consider continuing to provide such a useful post displaying the ways to contact the Reps and keep it updated.

    2. Even with the NDA in place, it is helpful to know that the Devs and the Reps are meeting, they are discussing our pain points, and that the program is neither forgotten nor abandoned. Regular feedback, like the meeting notes we used to get, helps build the community confidence in the Class Rep Program.

I'll be honest, I miss those Meeting notes we used to get. I realized that with the NDA those notes may not be possible anymore. However, I want to express what those meeting notes meant to me as an ESO player.

Those notes meant that I knew that the Class Rep program was working. Through those meeting notes, I could see that: the Class Reps were doing their job of reading, discussing, and faithfully representing our feedback from the threads and Discords. The Devs were hearing our feedback, filtered through the Class Reps. The Devs had their own plans for ESO, which sometimes didn't include our feedback, but that were always thought out and intentional.

I didn't agree with every decision that the Devs ultimately made, but the Class Rep Meeting Notes ensured that I knew those decisions were made with our player and Rep feedback in mind and were made according to a vision for ESO' future.

I miss those notes. Without those notes, with the NDA, and especially the recent lack of any news due to the new members being selected, its very easy to wonder what's going on or whether its even worth it to offer feedback through the Reps. The silence fuels doubts about the program.

Now, I realize that because the NDA, we probably can't get those detailed meeting notes I loved so much. On the other hand, I know that there have been multiple Devs saying they want to communicate more.

Would it be possible for us to get some sort of regular news about the Class Rep program? Even if its a notice that the Devs and Reps had a meeting, or an edited version of the notes that don't violate the NDA, or something else that you and the Reps think might fill that void, I think it would be beneficial to the community's confidence in the Class Rep program. It would certainly improve mine.

    Thank you for your consideration.

Sadly the discords are no more but I know discords like them without the class reps have popped up for the benefit of the community and it's people.

It is still running. 5 are left since Checkmath got banned recently. They're looking into filling the spots again. Next meeting is soon, the previous ones were about NDA stuff and weren't shared.

    Why He got banned ...

Didnt saw any annoucement that they search new members

    NDA breach.

NDA breach is not reason for banning an account by any means. What he claims he did is done more often than we think. I know players, including top raiders, who have done the same thing he claims yet have not been punished. Probably because they do not steam it.

But to the point, the program is still there. Zos just has a history of poor communication and an inability to turn that leaf over.

I'm talking about a class rep NDA, not a PTS NDA.

And for class rep NDA breach, you get banned in forum or as well ingame?

He got banned from game and forum, and kicked from the program.

That’s a real shame. Wonder if they sat down and gave him a warning or two. Because he was one of the only ones who was consistently engaging with Templars. He was fair, knowledgeable, and I always felt he was very careful in telling us that he couldn’t talk more about something because of NDA. The Devs should be thankful to have had someone like him. Yes, it’s a real shame.

@ZOS_GinaBruno where were these people pulled from? Having a popularity contest or bringing in players thar are supposedly "the best" at something isn't representative if your player base and excludes a lot of them.

Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    Zos is terrible at communication

Yup even with the class reps program. They might as well just abandon it. I don't believe they listen to class reps anyway, they will keep doing their own thing as devs as they have ignored feedback from these players.

I understood exactly what NDA you were speaking to and it is not a reason for banning an account for any reason. It is only a reason to stop sharing information and possibly sue.

The class rep discords were closed because ZOS does not officially support the discords. Wheter they choose to open up section for this here on the forum is up to them.

The program is still active but I doubt you will see much of it because all the stuff is under NDA. I was kinda surprised anyway that ZOS released notes on the forum even though everything was technically already under NDA.

Also please remember, Reps are here to give feedback, what ZOS does with the feedback is totally up to them.

Not to mention that you either need to be confident enough that you can stick to each and every line of the NDA ...

Why do you think they're called class rep? At the end of the day, that's the school staff that will decide. Reps are just here to represent the class, they don't take decisions.

I thought the purpose of a representative was to collate and communicate the playerbases thoughts. Seems like the current system is just to give their own feedback on NDA items rather than really represent?

I always wonder why 15 or 30m every week e.g. Friday couldn't just be dedicated to dev responding on the forums. Players such as reps could even suggest the posts to respond to. Would be way more engagement then is currently presented and not much of a time investment (could do it whilst having the Friday end of the day beers :p)

They represent something, what that something is doesn't necessarily align with what is good for the game or good for players in general.

The people that were picked got chosen because they have experience and knowledge about something (kappa). The reps shoud represent the playerbase, which they do with their knowledge, it never really said anywhere that we should farm feedback from the player base at least to my knowledge. Some Reps chose to open up discords to better farm feedback, but that was totally optional and the reps own idea. I for one never participated in the discords because if I want to get feedback I will ask people that I am confident in they know the game rather then wasting 10h/week unpaid monitoring discords that are full of spam from players you have never heard of before.

If ZOS wants to do that, they should and will open a forum section for this particular issue.

I think the biggest problem is that people still think we actually do make decisions on how the game is balanced, but that is not true at all. We are just here to give feedback, what ZOS does with the feedback is totally up to them. They can read it, maybe get some good points off it, or if they want just completely ignore it, after all it is their game.
