Combat Issue

I played quite heavily back when TU was current content and during imperial city, and was having major issues with combat. I play on PC using an xbox one elite controller and my weapon attacks with destruction staff bugs out when i attempt to weave light attacks in between spells, instead it continues to cast a fully charged heavy attack even though I'm not on my trigger at all.

This also happened when I played on the proper console version on xbox as well. has there ever been a fix discovered for this?

If you are experiencing an issue where light attacks are not triggering properly, you should check the control settings on the affected character.

There are different templates for the controls, and you may have inadvertently switched to the non-default one. You can find these settings in your Options menus.

This has been a recurring issue for many people over the course of years.

If you are using a lightning staff there has been a well documented bug in the game for at least a couple years. Basic attacks have been bugged with the lightning staff in multiple ways for awhile.
