Cuz how many magicka DPS use Weakness to Elements or Impulse?

You're getting:
- 8% more damage
- reduce target damage by %15
- A flame DoT
All with near 100% uptime, from a 1 piece set. This is more than you get from a lot of full 5 piece sets.
Something like 100% chance to apply 1 of the 3 effects every 4/5 seconds would be a lot more balanced.
Even tho i'm pretty excited about tryng this out, i got to agree here. Sounds extremly overpowered.ssewallb14_ESO wrote: »The destro seems extremely OP in PvP

Agreed. Essentially huge buff to Magsorcs (go figure) and to a lesser extent Mag Wardens in PVP. If this holds up I'd probably even switch to crushing shock on my Magblade. 100% uptime on all the status effects is crazy strong. And because the cool down is "per enemy" that means every enemy you're hitting is going to always have all 3 effects on them.
Really disappointing to see the passive stat boosts of the Maelstrom / Master weapons removed. On live, you can retain the passive bonus but overwrite the unique effect with poisons. At least in PvP, I'd consider the poisons mostly superior to enchants (Minor Defile comes to mind). Allowing enchants isn't enough to make up for losing that stat bonus. This more or less makes these weapons no better than crafted weapons.

That is an incredibly short sighted comment. Just because every class has access to something doesn't mean a buff to it effects all classes the same. Some classes utilize non-class skills better than another class would. For example, a buff to Destro Ult would be a huge buff to Magblades because we utilize the Ult better than other classes and make the best bombers. You are totally ignoring reality if you think a buff to force pulse won't disproportionately effect Sorcs more than other classes.
Huge buff to sorc and sorc alone in PvP. Nobody else uses crushing shock.
Sorc get reduced damage (which applies to shields by the way) a door and increase their damage. Flat out broken
Wardens use birds because it's not undodgeable, heals (very small) and gives ult.
NB uses swallow soul because it heals, can grant 8% magica and gives ult.
They don't use crushing shock.

Due to the fact these items can now be enchanted or poisoned normally, their extraneous stat bonuses have been removed. For example, the Maelstrom’s Greatsword no longer adds 189 Weapon Damage on top of the modifier to Critical Charge.
