If you have a dk tank, better use Igneous Shield (Obsidian shield morph) as it's basically the same as the Imperium set.

I'd love to actually see these "I survived with under 1k hp" moments because it sounds like a fairy tale.

I personally survived many times with very low health left on different characters, lowest was like 30 health left

Usually my dd type of characters have ~18k health without buffs of other players, just cause I'm solo most of time and don't have a crew to rely on.

Also funny, my tank (wearing Ebon) with ~30k health survived heavy attack of boss in nCoS while chained by his adds, leaving him with almost zero health if he was at full health before the attack...

Twice. It's nice, and would be even better if dds interrupted adds allowing me to block...

This character has a bit less than 19k health, and cause of lag I couldn't block Yellow Centurion's heavy attack (veteran Volenfell solo) - I survived with like 100 health left (luckily I was almost at full health before it hit). Managed to take screenshot few moments later, cause I was sure I'll die anyway (didn't die though, and now have funny screenshot to remember and no regrets

).

Its cause people started using Ebon and Plague Doctor cause Alkosh fell out of favor with Mororwind cause of less synergies and CP changes making Erosion and piercing better. Meta changes. People are still using Ebon. You didn't win nothing.

Igneous shield will only give a 12k shield or so to tank since it scales off max health.

DD and healers would only get a 2-3k shield depending on health. Compared to imperium 13k shield? No comparison not to mention they stack so if u have igneous plus imperium its a win win

been using plague since i was a newb works well for me using armour masters as well to get around 42k resistance while buffed up 43K hp as well

33K is the resistance cap. Anything past that gives no further mitigation. Armor master is good if you want to be more tanky in light or medium but with 5p heavy it will put you over the cap.

Resistance is capped at 33,100, you are wasting an armour set running Armor Master.

Igneous is based on your health. Allies shields are based on the tanks health, the shields are not 2-3k on the dd... about 9k with the current meta i think. imperium has a 8 % proc for 6 seconds with another 15 seconds of cooldown. So for 2/3 of the time the set does nothing where Igneous is castable and constant

Exactly. 1k hp isnt your problem. Ebon is a trash set thats worn just for the glowly balls look. Lot of us joked around about how worthless it is at last years professional ESO player convention.

It's actually 1,118 extra health that i believe gets amps from CP and food and then ontop of that it also gets amps from warhorn, so you're looking at close to 2,000 extra health. Stop acting like you know more than everyone else and there is some holy grail tank build.
There is too many damage line ups in a lot of trials that will just kill you with little reaction time easy fix is it to use ebon. there is no getting good or whatever with some of the stupid damage lineups that can occur where ebon will save you for the most part, you can't just keep saying a 1 shot is a 1 shot, what if I start using green food cause with blue food if it's a 1 shot so it will 1 shot me anyway.

There isn't much a tank can run anyway other than torugs, powerful assault, ebon, dragon even, but the fights are too short for warhorn to beat powerful assault anyway. And running powerful assault as main tank on rakkhat is doable but youd drop ebon and the only people even close to doing something like that is hodor and with someone that *** annoying to do and the amount of rng farming cause stupid damage line ups and with no one else going for scores, i can't speak for them but if it were me, *** that. just use ebon.

ive tanked VR Ra in 5 /5 of the hist armor and blood spawn . all those VR dungeons are just yawn now. really health is probably the least important resource in the whole game on a priority scale. CP and no caps have actually made this game worse.

Jewely you can go anything you want. I go warden monster set now. Mazz and 5 mephala . Its fun between the 3 your always procing. But health is not ypur problem dodge roll his posion

Running Ebon+PD+Mighty Chudan now
Works great.
~53k HP (Nord) with overcapped res (~54% without block and 80%+ in block) - overcapped on case resists debuffs

But I think 'bout switching Ebon to Green Pact.
Why? Dunno, dislike Ebon - only 1k HP for DDs (that usually are not collecting max HP %) is nothing. It also breaks on bar switching (nice job ZOS!).

About Imperium. Dunno. Proc chance too low. It rarely would work on boss hits - or I would need to stay in some aoe dmg pool (not the best idea ever) and/or aggro all adds on myself (sometimes it's hard, because of huge boss model also it drains mana a lot) and only melees would benefits from it and good range DDs (that understand, that they need to keep themselves closer to tank and be on the line between tank and healer)
