Ebon or Plague Doctor?

✭It seems obvious that for people wearing ebon any other build without ebon will be a bad build, no matter how effective you are, if you don't wear ebon with warhorn you are at least selfish to them.

Ebon buff is necessary for end game content. Just like worms is.
You need to be putting out as much dps as possible so most players will run with 17k hp (they should have about that with undaunted mettle and heavy armor passives with 5-1-1). With ebon armor, that goes up to 18k and with warhorn up they will have around 19.5k-20k hp. That is what keeps them alive and still pushing out maximum dps.
If you are struggling to survive with less than 30k hp, then its not the gear's fault. As a matter of fact, the off-tank running Powerful Assault/Alkosh will have more like 24k hp.
Only cause DPS doesn't know how to be supportive.

Those are all stamina sets. Sadly stamina is basically not used in end game fights. Also its better for tanks to use Alkosh than DPS since tanks use synergies all the time anyway.0 -

One group in the veteran argonian ruin dugeon was compalining about my 30k health because the poison attacks in chudan keeps killing me. Should I go plague doctor instead of ebon so I have 5k more health since people at ungreatful about me giving them extra health? Wearing the ebon really man my stats look bad so should i switch?

It's actually 1,118 extra health that i believe gets amps from CP and food and then ontop of that it also gets amps from warhorn, so you're looking at close to 2,000 extra health. There is too many damage line ups in a lot of trials that will just kill you with little reaction time easy fix is it to use ebon. there is no getting good or whatever with some of the stupid damage lineups that can occur where ebon will save you for the most part, you can't just keep saying a 1 shot is a 1 shot, what if I start using green food cause with blue food if it's a 1 shot so it will 1 shot me anyway.
There isn't much a tank can run anyway other than torugs, powerful assault, ebon, dragon even, but the fights are too short for warhorn to beat powerful assault anyway. And running powerful assault as main tank on rakkhat is doable but youd drop ebon and the only people even close to doing something like that is hodor and with someone that *** annoying to do and the amount of rng farming cause stupid damage line ups and with no one else going for scores, i can't speak for them but if it were me, *** that. just use ebon.

Lets just say if anyone leaks anything within our team we do not "sue" them. No one in the game has came close to the Project Bügeleisen Gott build. zos are the creators, we merely discovered the ultimate death face mega god, combination. We were contacted by zos via telephone a few days after testing the build. Apparently it was so powerful that it set some kind of alarm off. Zos security forces utilized satellites to monitor our tests. A few days later we get the call and they made us agree to never "gold out" our build. Not until further testing of course but that could take years.0 -

A few days later we get the call and they made us agree to never "gold out" our build. Not until further testing of course but that could take years.

Duckbutta✭✭✭I have had bad experience with ebon armory after spending weeks farming it. One group in the veteran argonian ruin dugeon was compalining about my 30k health because the poison attacks in chudan keeps killing me. Should I go plague doctor instead of ebon so I have 5k more health since people at ungreatful about me giving them extra health? Wearing the ebon really man my stats look bad so should i switch?

✭✭✭✭Well, in my case Ebon gives me sufficient HP to run a full stamina build and use maximum magicka + magicka recovery drink to balance out my resource pools, instead of tri-stat food/drink. The healing received bonus is also far from useless on a tank. So Ebon is clearly the better set, for PVE.Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

xRIVALENx✭✭✭Ebon would be excellent on a support tank or secondary tank for trials, for content only requiring one tank I don't see the point at all. If your glass cannon dps cannot survive without that 1k - 2k health increase then it is a fault of their own and maybe they need to rethink how they play.0
