The second solution would take a fair amount of work I suspect, but has the benefit of not ticking off the people that need to use proc sets to faceroll overworld pve. Impen is supposed to be our anti-random burst pvp stat, and tbh it's not as good at that as it should be atm.1 -

So I think you were being a little snarky with that last comment, simply because you are enjoying it while it lasts also apparently.
While it lasts could be along time, or a short time, maybe you know, I don't. I said it before, but Ill say it again, I don't want a blanket nerf, I want specific sets nerfed/changed. However, I know that what I want could very well not be the right answer. cheers0 -

That´s the problem with these youtube and twitch rockstars. They preach water and drink wine... Reality is people see what they do and don´t do what they say, so in the end people like jules make this "procalypse" even worse because they show their cancer setups to a broad range of viewers. The proper way is nerf it to the ground make the proc sets NOT PROCING ON PLAYER CONTROLED UNITS (PETS INCLUDED)

✭✭✭✭I am all for nerfing proc sets but I don't think allowing only 1 proc set would be the way to go. There are so many proc sets in the game right now that nobody complains about in their posts with death recaps, e.g. seventh legion, clever alchemist, Trial by Fire, Whitestake's Retribution, Tava's Favour etc.
I'd be fine if they go with allowing one damage proc set and one proc set that alters stats, but not two or three together. E.G. Skoria + Lich would be okay. Lich + Pirate Skeleton - not okay. Selene + Viper - not okay.
This along with toning down either damage, proc chance and/ or interval of the stronger damage procs would be a good start.

nCats✭✭✭A nitpick remark. Proc means programmed random occurrence. In this terminology, Viper is not a proc, Alchemist is not a proc, Seventh Legion is though. Viper is a cooldown set.
On topic, the reason why the complaints about damage sets are not apparent is because a viper burst is equivalent to 1000 more weapon damage if you are dizzying swinging nonstop; but who does that in pvp anyway.2 -

Yes, I know. And nobody complains about ravager because it won't appear on your death recap. But I take you know what we mean when we write "proc sets".0 -
Bloody-Goodbyes✭✭✭I guess their aim was to make new/bad players be able to get easy wins, its really anything but that in reality. Dumbing down the combat further wasn't a good move and being killed by proccers/forced into it both suck. Hell I miss when you could pvp without a monster set and still be viable.
