hands down the number one thing which gets me killed most frequently in cyrodiil: overconfidence...oh yeah, big time...

so many characters, so many different build setups all the time - I can't even remember what I was wearing before this current setup...ugh, I think I liked it better...

part of the problem was I spent yesterday playing a character with about 45k health and ooddles of resistance...

first encounter was gooch farming folks at chalman mine - that didn't end well...next was playing cat and mouse with a couple of AD players over at aleswell farm...i was pretty much playing the role of the mouse the whole time...hopefully they each had the sorcerer bounty...

yeah, I'm going back to zerg surfing for awhile :(

AD is making a nice comeback thanks to the leadership and coordination of the crowns and their amazing groups.

I keep getting invited to small scale around prime time more so then usual. It's been a blast. The guy I played with Xx_iAssassins_xX really loves how dynamic MagSorc and MagWarden group play is. We were taking on groups with 4 or 6 people and making huge dents in them.

I try to also influence ad I play with away from gating. I say hold home keeps and horns if want. Push for resources on evaluation if needed. But don't gate them unless grabbin scrolls n dippin. No need to stay at the gate keeps n demoralize. Health of campaign always number 1. But not all listen
They don't because some players are really bent out of shape over the stuff DC did to us all those months ago. So when they push, they push for vengefulness and they get blinded to keeping the campaign healthy.

Just to clarify, nonetheless, I agree campaign health takes priority over other players spiteful vengeance.

When AD was in 3rd, I played my AD toon a lot and we were gated a lot in both Scourge and Haderus. I tried playing my AD toon again in Vivec this past week, but the queue was always 60-120. Vivec looks close now and it's anyone's guess who will win. AD is making a strong push.

When DC was dominating Scourge, I was everywhere else on my DC toon trying to take back or defend the home keeps.

I like playing for the underdog regardless of alliance.

gotta love AA and their slogans...my dad was a proud member for many years...

    Coward's Gear Set
(2 items) Adds 1064 Max Health
(3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(5 items) While Sprinting you gain Major Expedition and Major Protection, increasing your Movement Speed and reducing your damage taken by 30%.

so, after an evening out on the town in my fancy new duds (viper, cowards gear, molag kena) - i was definitely feeling a little let down...i really thought that 30% damage taken reduction, hurricane and empowered ward would help me more than hold my own in cyrodiil...

not so much, got abused a bunch last night...turns out the best use of cowards gear is - ironically enough - running away from fights :#

felt waaaay squishier than i thought i would, or, had felt in battlegrounds...i'll give it a couple of more go's to see if i can adjust my playstyle to make it work...the gear looks cool :p

well @Takes-No-Prisoner ...ya talked me in to it...went ahead and picked up a set of:
    Knight Slayer Set
(2 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1064 Max Health
(5 items) Your fully-charged Heavy Attacks against Players deal an additional 9% of their Max Health as Oblivion Damage.

gonna run it on my EP nord magplar/healplar...i'll combine it with rattlecage and a magicka monster piece...

it's amazing i still have any coin left in the bank...

i'm already heavy attacking a lot with the lightening destro and resto staves...picked up some oblivion (decrease health) enchants, so, let's see what it can do...

it's funny - those weapons from the battlegrounds merchant are really cheap and only run 12k AP a piece - but, rngeezus it;'s hard to get what you want...thankfully not as hard to get what you need :)

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

As a Yellow, in the past when I get bored I would sneak my way over to a spot where their group was and just hang out for a few minutes. Maybe do some fighting, then leave them to their AP. Always had a good laugh watching them fight against hordes of blue and red.

Note to self: Don't ever follow and watch enemies kill nubs. Their friends on your own alliance will lure them to your location.

I fail to always do this and every time something lame like that happens.

went in dead red tonight and saw - no one...at first was gated, then got back to arrius, then - nothing...couldn't find any decent zerg action...which for a healer isn't all that much fun - more folks to heal and rez the better...

where in the heck did all the EP players go??? there was a 30 something queue at about 8 pm p.s.t....didn't seem like there were very many EP players at all out on the map...checked IC, no red flags...

finally settled in to some weird pvp action going on between brk mine and the mill...just random groups of different faction players having mini skirmishes in a bunch of different spots...it was fun - I guess...seems I've spent s lot of time on all the different factions fighting in that area lately...

hmmmm, I wonder if the last few days have been sorta random, or, if this is how it'll be the last two weeks of the campaign...

Sigh, same ole same o for EP, we start strong get complacent and start to just AP farm. When AD gets it's stuff together we all disappear and boom another lost campaign.

Where do all the red go, where do all the yellow come from? Hmmm...

I feel like EP got complacent as well. AD however came together and collaborated well on defense and offense. Very proud of AD and our ability to trudge through the toxic sludge of zone chat when we were down.

EP has a leadership vacuum. Again. I've been rolling primetime with my friend Mr_Own_U for the past few days doing small-scale and taking what we can each hour just before evaluation, but it's uphill because of a lack of cooperation, lack of coordination, and - quite frankly - lack of presence of the leaders of EP's main Vivec guilds.

Credit to those EP players out there who are running groups - They're trying, but as an outside observer it looks like we have some crowns who don't control their groups and aren't even fully aware how the game works. Last night I watched a full group hit BRK's inner postern. Half the group weren't seiging, and the other half were hitting with lightning & fire ballistas. To make matters worse, a good number of those were hitting the door, not the steps and/or wall - doing zero damage. They got wiped because they took far too long to get the wall down. That's the crown's fault - If you're going to run a group, you have to educate your team to be effective.

Reminds me of my BWB days... One night I watched a group of 24 EP spend 5 minutes taking down a corner tower at Aleswell while under heavy fire. I can only imagine their confusion when they were unable to get inside. lol

AD is doing great on that end. I'm super impressed by their comeback. But EP has, yet again, come into the realm of uncertainty. It was an absolute blast to play against team Purple 7 days ago. EP was going all hard in on Alessia and Faregyl. Now it's just Thunder Slugs rotating out empty keeps of ours like; Brindle, Bloodmayne and Black Boot--Occasionally Roebeck.

They need more experience. Only way to do that is to get your rear handed to you. I only hope they keep trying. As I can understand that awkward situation you are in. Where you wanna say something, but don't feel like being barked back at.

I can promise you that this is not the case if it was ever even possible to begin with. The lag you are experiencing is due to the high volume of players in a small area using abilities and creating animations within that area. The servers are then put under pressure and people lag/crash. Don't pretend AD does not experience this issue just as much as you and your faction do.
