When AD gets zerged down by EP or DC we encounter the same thing. It's not a lag switch, its a poorly designed network that cant handle the thousands of commands that overwhelm it when large groups get together. Unfortunately it just gets worse with each patch.

back to one of my favorite topics: gear

i was completely underwhelmed with the viper/coward's gear setup on my stam sorc the other day...been thinking i'm gonna remove the viper and slot fiord's legacy set in it's place - i'm not really sure how much the viper was helping, and, just for fun i wanna go all out on speed...the viper set makes me wanna get too close to people when i'm fighting...

however, boy oh boy was i happy with the knight slayer/rattlecage setup (has a troll king piece on also) on my magplar/healplar...i enjoy a fairly clean UI so i don't ever see any exact numbers, but, man was i melting folks with my dark flare and radiant oppression combo...i got a bunch of solo kills off of that last night from the tops of keeps and outposts

it's nice - for the first time in a while - i think i'm actually good with the different gear setups i have on all 10 characters at the moment...

only thing kind of on my mind is switching out my phoenix set (which has probably been my favorite set in the game to date) for the impregnable armor set on my mag sorc...i'll keep the spinners and grothdar sets on the character...currently i have him set up with SnB on one bar and detro on the other - thinking of making a move to replace the destro staff with a resto staff...gonna keep the SnB though and use the 5th piece set buff from impregnable armor on the SnB bar for when it's time to stand and fight...

Gear...uggggh! I've spent so much on gear and gold mats the past week and i'm right back where i started. Tried necro, war maiden, julianos, kags, and different monster combos, but i keep going back to my willpower, kags, chudan, turogs combo ive been wearing for the past year.

The other sets are nice for damage and shields, but they just dont give me the health and resistance needed to fight outnumbered. Mighty chudan is nice because i am terrible at keeping buffs and shields up which is why i call it my lazy templar build. Correction: renamed lazy warden build lol.

with almost 70% crit 2600 WD DW/Bow set up.

Shadow Walker Set

(4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(5 items) While you are Sneaking or invisible and are not moving, heal for 2150 Health and restore 2150 Stamina every 1 second.

that's some really nice sustain though...selene's is just a beast (literally )...

Ive tried shadowwalker and used it for quiet some time. Its very good when someone cant deny you of cloak but considering the lag and the amount of bugged things breaking it at the moment, i cant justify using it.

That's why I a running quick cloak with it to help with aoe reduction. Plus the run speed.

@GreenSoup2HoT if cloak isn't working try what I do in those situations and use an immovable potion before you enter stealth

its not that. its heavy attacks, viper and gap closers breaking cloak due to high server ping. i cloak for a full second and still get brought out of cloak due to this high latency.

hmmmm, funny you should mention server lag - got kicked earlier by nikel...

checked my connection speed and it was fine...

I have a nice collection of short vids where I'm running around and everyone else is frozen...

this was a particularly interesting kick - at first things started to get choppy when a bunch of enemy showed up...at times it seemed like some players were frozen, and, some players could still move around...

for a time, I didn't even think to see if I could still sttack...

needless to say - the frozen players were all killed fairly quick

this went on for at least 3 or 4 minutes before everyone on the screen froze...

it looked weird, like everyone was moving in slow motion for a while...

Yeah that's why I said try an immovable potion. It puts immunity on you long enough so you don't get stunned by other things. I haven't had a problem with viper hitting me out of stealth but I have with ambush. So I mash the button when that happens, it usually does the trick after I drink a pot.

Couldn't get in last night. Que was 200+ and I got involved in a trial by the time the notification popped up. Also, we failed at the trial. Tough night last night.

yeppers, tried getting in on AD around 10:30pm last night and it was a 140 queue wait, about 45 minutes or so...

oh yeah - lovin my new mag sorc setup - it worked like a champ...the empowered ward and ward ally combo along with the impregnable armor set let me play right up on the front lines...

most importantly no need for running away on my mag sorc...

it's funny went from about 10 offensive skills (including ults) on my bars to only about 4...initially I had left the magicka recovery glyphs on the jewelry, but was finally able to replace them with increase magical harm after a while...sustain though is still something I need to keep an eye on...

just for fun - went full proctato on one of my characters (stam dk): velidreth, red mountain and viper...

considering the amount of time I spend fighting around zergs - not really sure how effect it really is...

decided not to keep the viper/cowards gear combo on my stam sorc...replaced the viper with fiord's legacy...he most certainly is fast...think though I'll replace the fiord's with something else soon...maybe hawk's eye set...

No, I am still EP.
I started a guild called Warriors Reborn home based in Kyne which will be all under level 50 players in training in hopes of getting new blood ready for my main guild Warriors of Cyrodiil.
I really enjoy playing at low level with no CP but with a good build, there is a lot less cheese around.
Got a while till I get it fully rolling as my mount speed is very low right now. lmao

The last emperor keep fight was nuts. I hear players complain so much about this guy.....why do you fight so hard for him? My people didn't want anything to do it's this fight really. They were much happier making AP running around taking resources and the occasional keep; then to fight a wicked bomblade with 75k health.

Oh yeah and the account share thing.....you definitely knew when it wasn't the real emp. Earlier in the day he went down to light attacks And couldn't bomb well at all. Then the real one gets on later and wipes a whole Zerg with a hot lap.

He dropped into zone chat on EP late last night (OMG the salt was real... lol) and announced he'd be making a switch next campaign to EP. We'll see.

EP got gated so badly early this weekend that I nearly threw my controller out the window. We'd already lost our scrolls, and to spend 90 minutes trying to just take our back keeps only to be destro-bombed repeatedly was "discouraging" to put it mildly.
