Portal spawn is random but no matter where you go up you will start on the same crystal every time. If you go down before all crystals are destroyed, once again, random portal spawn. You will go up in the same spot as your first time. Directly to the right of crystal 1.
Crystal 1: health sigil
Crystal 2: somewhere in between shield/power
Crystal 3: speed sigil

Congrats! Now use that best in slot weapon to get your sharpened daggers and 2h weapons!

@Lukums1 Got my second clear tonight after getting my first clear last weekend. Funny how much easier this one was.

I decided to focus on using your method on the last boss and it worked like a charm. Having done it both ways now (taking and not taking the defense sigil at the beginning), I think I will go with your method. I think leaving the defense sigil initially allowed me to gain a better understanding of that third part of the fight, but now that I have more confidence I feel comfortable not having the defense sigil at the end. It's really not necessary (as you have already noted).

Indeed it does hands down! I can't suggest this strongly enough honestly it's super easy and you don't have to worry about a thing "almost"

Here's a concise explanation of how i do it on my magsorc:

-No initial sigil
-Drop rearming trap before fight (from overload bar), liquid lightning, wall of elements, boundless storm.
-weave pulse shoot frags block crystals.
-When he moves, follow him, bash him, drop liquid and woe, go to overload, hit voriak twice to proc kena and 1-2 shot the cg
-ignore healer
-roll dodge
-dps him with single targets after more aoes are down, and get to 70% before the next cg

-grab power sigil
-kill the penguin daedra by the transporter
-upstairs in one go

-speed sigil get ghosts bash
-rune prison summoners and drop liquid and woe so they die in place
-spectral EXPLOSION!
-ignore adds and melt melt melt while getting ghosts gg over nice inferno staff BBBOOOIII!!

We've already gone through this a number of times. Just follow my explaination which over 90% have done and obtained their kills easily. I don't believe you mentioned rearming trap. I giggled with this one sorry but I did.

You're changing entire builds and making life harder on yourself.

1. You're not getting defensive sigil to mitigate all damage. You can drop liquid lightning and wall when he teleports and take care of the healer/mage while ignoring boss which makes life literally a million times easier.
2. You're collecting the power sigil for no reason at all as energy overload or liquid + wall + heavy it would of been dead. If at any point you should be collecting power at the end to make quick work of the boss while in energy overload + power sigil if you're so inclinded

If it works for you great, but you have to keep in mind the way which was already explained is a million times easier then what you suggest above.

You also have to keep in mind that this thread was about the easiest possible way to get clears with sub-par gear and little experience.

For magicka.

Bar 1. Force Pulse, Crystal Frags, Wall of elements, Inner light, Metor or eye of the storm
Bar 2. Liquid lightning, power surge, boundless storm, harden ward, energy overload
Bar 3. Power Surge, Mages Wrath, harden ward, inner light, energy overload

Honestly so bloody easy it's ***, you don't need traps lol... you don't need to ignore mages to make life harder on yourself, these guys are only after the clear, if that means collecting the defensive sigil upon first teleport do it. You made it to the top congratulations. The healer is dead, you have 10 seconds + to kill CG with defensive sigil and you then force boss to 70% with not a care in the world.

You go up, come down collecting the haste, power whatever bass and overload to win. Depending if you have elegant or not you kill the first summoner to buy you 20 seconds + to contend with boss.

I've put videos upon videos on my twitch stream with purple weapons, willpower sets, no monster helms showing that it can be easily achieved following correct and accurate strats.

Non the less, i'm sure people appreciate new takes on things from time to time but I wouldn't suggest new players and inexperienced players following the strat mentioned above. That's for sure.

Instead of the Defense sigil I pickup the Healing sigil at the beginning, because I want to keep the Defense for the 3rd stage.

However, the 3rd stage is so easy, I think it doesn't really matter...

Generally I think the same rules apply here J_S however you still need to be some what engaged in a fight if you choose to go healing sigil other wise you'll still be taking substantial damage.

The healing for the end I believe is a better option because generally the windmill of death doesn't occur and you can simply mitgate the autos from the boss with the healing sigil while collecting gold ghosts. Just my 2 cents.
