I can only play for a few hours a day, can we extend the festival by 21hrs for each day it runs to account for this lost time?

So...you don't think they will have maintenance to fix these issues? I've read in another post there was no plans to perform maintenance until the New Year.

just got booted to character select whilst stood at Breda in eastmarch, when i logged back in i was in Reapers March, tried wayshrining back to eastmarch got a 5 minute loading screen then booted to login screen lols

The only good thing to come out of this event is the motif and xp buff. The rest of it is completely ridiculous. At least the last event had us doing better stuff than what's on offer here and never had the entire player base all huddled in the same spot. Maybe I'm just getting old and miserable.

hmmm I just crashed again.....but I did eventually complete one of the quests to dance in a few towns.

The odd thing is, completion didn't provide any exp bonus.
I did get a drink and it made me drunk but nothing more

Possibly I just cant interact due to the literally hundreds of ppl around the NPCs at each quest spot on xbox one NA today

Why was this done this way instead of providing a memento?

At least you guys have got to do quests. I logged in, ported to Eastmarch, went up to Breda, couldn't talk to her and DC'd. Now I can't log back in on that character. This is a joke.

There are a lot more delves, dolmens etc than there are inns in the respective zones. You could have been in any delve, here you're all in the same inn. Add to that, not only do we have large crowds to deal with, we also have the fact most of them are located in large hubs that can be a ballache to load at the best of times.

Apart from the collectables, mate, you seriously aren't missing out on much. The activities aren't fun, they're ridiculous.

Doing delves and world bosses in populated but reasonably sized groups was enjoyable. Running into a mob of 100+ other players to try and pick up another quest and get back to the wayshrine before I insta crash to desktop absolutely is not. Just the fact of having to go back to that spot every 2 hours to re-up the double XP buff is what's even dumber because the last event all you had to do was use the momento from where you were already at.

the problem is that there is only one place to pick the quest for all alliances which is insane and it'll be really hard to reach, specially when more people start playing this event. i'm frequently stuck on 999+ latency but there's nothing wrong with my internet and i'm removed from the game, to the login menu, when i try to travel to eastmarch. i think that this could be easily solved with 3 different places to pick the quest.

So is the lag really only bad in eastmarch? I have been reading up on the festival and I hate to say it but there really doesn't appear to be anything of real value. What are you supposed to even do and get for all these issues?

ZOS changed the title of this post and a few others. I guess they are moderating titles too...not sure what I did...

The original title was if the event would be extended because of the lag. I guess I shouldn't have mentioned "extend the event". LOL. These guys have fascist moderators and a crown store that works without a single problem...just terrible game implementation.

Double experience from the keg every two hours [yes, you have to go back and use it again, every two hours], and the skinchanger motif.

After reading all this fun that people are having, I'm considering simply waiting and buying the motif at a later date.

The worst lag I've ever seen anywhere in my 18 months playing. I saw for the first time a few of the things I've read PvP players describe on these forums e.g. staff stuck between my legs like I'm riding a broomstick.

First quest for me was Betnikh. I completed it all but didn't get credited with the achievement.

Opened my first loot box and crashed to desktop.

Not a very festive experience.

I won't be going back to Eastmarch until I read that some action has been taken to fix things.

The New Life Festival proved ZOS' instance implementation need to be reworked badly. I like to not have these alliance restrictions outside PvP zone but please, bring back the separation we used have.

What's the point in acquire a game and, in case of subscribers, pay regularly, to not be able to play due so many crashes?!

So I went shopping just before the festival started........

Had a thought before I left "Shall I just park my main in Eastmarch so she's there when I get back?"

Luckily been there, done that as far as ESO is concerned and therefore decided to leave her where she normally is.

As I was unpacking my shopping I gleefully told my husband that I couldn't wait to see if the Forums had exploded and explained to him why.

Ok so atm just a minor ripple or two but I fear that will only increase over the next few hours/days.

I'm about to head into the fray, wish me luck and hope that I'm not back to moan too quickly!!

Lag is ridiculous, even more than in PVP,

Game keeps crashing when i want to hand in one of the quests in Eastmarch....

Great idea for a fun festival, cr@p execution yet again..

My game froze when I was talking to Breda, only 3 quests left, I'd been quite lucky, but can't even get on my main to finish them now.
