At least with poisons at 60%, I won't need to worry about putting enchants on my weapons anymore. Now all have to do is slaughter trolls by the 100's, no better make that by the 1000's and I'll be set.

Thanks for the feedback on this, everyone; we have been keeping an eye on the thread, and encourage you to try this out on the PTS in real-world combat scenarios if you haven't yet. Our Systems Designer Chris Balser will be on ESO Live this afternoon, and will be addressing your concerns with this percentage and explaining why we did this. Tune if if you're able, otherwise we can post a link after the show. :)

Can he also go over the impact of this on non-CP campaigns.

Gina there isn't much open world combat on PTS anymore, which makes testing how many changes will effect "real-world combat scenarios" near impossible. I think you guys need to hold more PTS events like you did in the past to get more players interested. The past two PTS' have been dueling mainly.

    WTB more quickslots.

I'm already full up with siege, repair kits, coldfire, pots... *and* there seems to be a bug that doesn't allow me to add new items to quickslots when I'm anywhere near a battle. Where am I going to put different poisons?

I see the whole poison thing getting very frustrating, very quickly.

You should really get more informed before you come to the forum jumping the crywagon before you even know what the cry is about.

Poisons don't go to a quickslot, they are equipped at the right of your weapon and they are applied automatically (20% chance on weapon abilities or light/heavy attack).

Don't get me wrong, I think 60% is way over the top, even with the current low duration.
You can get informed on all the details about poisons here. This guy did an awesome job, don't let it pass by unnoticed.

As far as "Pay to Win" comments, I'd really like for someone from the PTS to clarify which reagents drop where.
So far, I noticed all the insects that provide Insect Parts drop three of the reagents (Torchbug Thorax, Butterfly Wing, Fleshfly Larva), while there is only one new plant to harvest: Nightshade.

In any case, the "60% more expensive skills" effect comes from Ravage Magicka and Ravage Stamina, which are not new effects.
Note that Restore Magicka and Restore Stamina also have the same 60% effect, but don't last as long as a Ravage effect. They do however provide some resource return to the one doing the poisoning.

Edit: the webpage is not up-to-date, as you can notice (it still has 30% tooltip), so the duration is also not up-to-date. If I recall correctly, the "drain" effects do not last as long as the "ravage" effects.

What she said, go try this on PTS. And especially on PVP since that is where these poisons will really matter. We really need more people doing PVP on PTS because you can't get much of a sense for how it will work when only 4 people show up for PVP. Think this is nuts? Put in some time on PTS and prove it!

It sucks that they didn't realize what a fail the poison system is. 60%? Insane.. 30% Crazy... it needs to be like 10% if it has to be there. Or no increased cost potions because like I said that's just *** stupid.

Make poisons so op youre forced to get dlc lol

If you have to buy the DLC in order to use these new poisons in PvP, then ZOS just laid there own grave and now have virtually gone to a pay to win model. @Wrobel @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Finn @ZOS_RichLambert

Ask why he destroyed peoples builds who do not use a resto or destro staff, and now cannot be effective in PvP due to the resource drain from poisons. And also RIP magicka recovery in Azura Star.

The entire poison system needs a tweak. I don't think there was enough internal testing done. It's definitely not ready for live, nor do I believe it will be come the release of the DLC. Poison at this moment is a complete make or break situation. Please do not let this go live. PvP is already in a bad place, this will decimate the population even more.

    Thanks for the reply @ZOS_GinaBruno!
Honestly if you guys where to scrap poisons and add console chat asap you would be greatly helping player retention!
Why not go at least give the people the basics they need for before adding a huge meta shift no has asked for or seems to want.
Poisons will be a extra barrier for new players and casuals to overcome. Increasing pvp difficulty will ultimately lead to a decrease in player base.

Well im considering atm just to quit PvP , cause since Imperial City PvP got worser and worser.
I dont know Zenimax but could i ask you are you playingbarely your own game?

Since Imperial City you are forcing to make Zergmeta stronger and stronger you ar enot even care about Average/Good PvPler ,who are trying to get a challenge.

You nerfed block till the ground, ,then the rapid change well running away from a zerg isnt working anymore
V Death which should be the Anti-Zerg Set well good Job, now 30+ are running in a group with that set = Fun not really, but thanks
Siege Dmg from Emp doubled :) (Takes 3month to take it away)
Now Poison which incerases your Stamina Cost just imagine playing 1 v X against Bad Players im not talking about Players who have proper bars
Just imagina that you will lose 1 vs X against a Nb which use on bow bar mistform, sap, caltdrops, meteor and poisoninjection in light armour.
Just imagine cause you get drained from the poison?

    Is that fair Zenimax ?
You want that good player quit the game..
Just answer one time honestly about your thought about PvP ?
The comment "You will die anyway 1 Vs X " isnt realy a good commentar. It jus show your clueless about the situation.

Well im not expecting any answer so just make the game worser and dont hear to the community :)

    Hey @ZOS_GinaBruno ,

As other's have mentioned, it is very hard to test real-world combat scenarios in PTS. That being said, it is VERY clear from controlled, small scenarios that these poisons are way too strong. It is insane to have constant 60% debuffs in fights, alongside an additional DoT, etc. It is obvious that being in any kind of PvP situation that you will be at the mercy of how many poisons are on you (and they can easily have 100% uptime). They also are heavily favored towards stamina builds due to their application mechanics and the fact that the best counter to poisons is avoiding being hit. More tanky classes (eg tanks which are already in a bad spot) are at a huge disadvantage.

My feedback is to severely reduce the poison effects or not implement them. They favor zerg mentality and many people will get very frustrated by an unbalanced mechanic and be discouraged from playing, especially if they are not in large groups.

As you can see, only the single effect Ravage Stamina poison has the 10 seconds duration, with a 10 second cooldown, all the rest have a lower uptime.

The "drain" poisons are made from exactly the same reagents as the potions.
The first poison in my picture is an equivalent of the tri-pot.

However, for the "damage" poisons I have not found a combination for all three attributes. I might have just missed it.
The tri-damage poison from my picture is: ravage health, ravage stamina and creeping ravage health.
