Here we go with this misplaced use of the word "entitlement". They're introducing new features to the game THAT I PAID FOR. Obviously I want to be a part of that. I DON'T CARE if they're required or not. Spending time creating new updates for the game then overcharging for them is shady business. I wouldn't pay even if I had the extra money. $24.99 for a damn cosmetic mount, are you kidding me? For that price, the horse should be about 3 or 4 times faster than the base game horse and able to open portals to oblivion to teleport directly to Wayshrines.

Your lack of listening and understanding skills, knowledge and experience are one thing, but your lack of courtesy is another and it is unacceptable.
I'm not going to have common courtesy for someone who has done nothing but hang around my thread and ridicule me because I wasn't acknowledging his posts.

Bad example, DCUO's store currency is a lot more expensive than hours, their currency is £19 for 2500 and ours is £14.99 for 3000.
They get a DLC which includes 5 quests and only 5 quests for £5 to £10 depending on the pack, we get a whole expansion DLC for £15, heck they're selling packs of emotes and calling them abilities for £20.
Try again.

I'm not defending those idiots by any means. But ESO is worse. I'd rather pay $10 for a new power in that game than $25 for a redesigned horse.

You have to pay to play the the game, yet the overcharge for their extras as if it's free to play. Have they lost their damn minds? First you overcharge for the crowns okay, that's one strike. Second, you can only buy them in bundles. Why is that a thing? Same goes for the costume bundles, why can't I just buy the individual items I want? There are a few good ones I like, but I'm not going buy a costume pack with two ugly outfits and one good one. Then 750 crowns costs $8.00, they don't even give you the full 800 crowns. And what can I do with that? Oh I can buy a virtual cat, I'm paying $8 for a virtual ass cat. Then the largest crown package costs half the price of the game, what sense does that make? Where the hell do they get these figures for value? All this crap should be between 1.99-4.99 like any normal cosmetic DLC. This is utterly and absolutely ridiculous. Get rid of the bundles and stop overcharging like this was free to play, it wasn't. You should've thought about that before you had GameStop stock their shelves with a $60 price tag.
You don't need to pay to play the game? No subscription required, and if your talking about plsystation plus, you would have got that anyway for other games.... I do agree with the crowns being overpriced, and also their fly tactics with the DLC " hey it's only 2,500 crowns but wait, you got to pay for the 3,000 pack if you don't have your enitial 500 crowns from launch"
I had to pay to get it so I had to pay to play it. We didn't sign up and get free copies in the mail.
Come on now, really? Obviously you had to pay a one off price for your copy of the game, what where you expecting it to be free?
Yes. That's the literal definition of a truly free to play MMO, Zenimax just decided to be stingy with their game.
Especially those blue motifs 500 crowns. Any one would buy that after they saw them only sold like 400 each in stores?
And those potions... 25g each in stores only...
Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »You realize that you can play the game while completely ignoring the crown store, right?
Which is pretty much what I have done although I did break down and buy some scrolls to improve some horse skills on a low level toon ( and I wasn't happy about that either).
Even then you can't get away from the silly stuff in the store. Last night I got both the scamp and soul shriven costume off of Molag in the IC. Thanks a bunch. Those two items are really going to help me survive the damage nerf.

Calling it as I see it. Don't mistake this as a direct attack on you. The statement sounds entitled.RinneganDovahkiin wrote: »Here we go with this misplaced use of the word "entitlement".Are you talking about the DLC because everything else I see was given to us without needing the DLC. I just found malachite today and I don't own the DLC.They're introducing new features to the game THAT I PAID FOR.
I took it from your post you're not a subscriber, because if you were, the crowns you would have gotten would make all of your post moot. This is where I feel your statement is entitled.Obviously I want to be a part of that. I DON'T CARE if they're required or not. Spending time creating new updates for the game then overcharging for them is shady business. The issue I see here is that: "It's a virtual item that's too costly!" rather than "Oh, I see, since they didn't make the game require a subscription, they need to sell this stuff."
As you said: IT'S COSMETIC and has no bearing on the game. You can buy any mount and receive pets in the game (and you can also get polymorphs like the skeleton), yet YOU want the BETTER looking virtual stuff.
If this isn't the definition of entitled, then by all means, come up with a different term that fits.
Oh, I know! CHEAPSKATE.
If you can't see the prices are high to help offset the cost of the millions who don't subscribe, then there's no convincing you the statements you're making are utter nonsense.
For the record, in case you want to know:
-I don't subscribe.
-I bought 1 horse, senche lioness, clouded lioness, and both cats.
If ZoS adds another virtual item that pleases me and makes my character cool, I'll buy it because I'm not buying the virtual item. I'm supporting the game.
How does one even begin to put a price on that.

This IS NOT any other game and comparisons are pointless. There was a reason many of us came here and it wasn't this.
