I'm typing this on an iPhone 6. I'm able to do more with an iPhone 6 than I'm able to do with any cheaper smartphone out there. I can't do more with an $8 costume than I can with a $2 costume. And they shouldn't be selling in-game motifs to begin with if that's something they're worried about. Sell crown store only motifs.
You can find several smartphones that outperform the iPhone for less money. Easy. Trust me, I have a dozen smartphones, including an iPhone 6.
But an iPhone is more than some phone device. It's an accessory that helps building up your identity. At least, that's what most people pretend.
The same is working for $8 costumes vs $2 costumes.
Apparently enough people feel that an $8 costume is worth the price and buy it. They don't play better, they don't have any kind of bonuses but they like to work on their in-game identity and are willing to pay mucha money for it.
Get over it. Like others said: vote with your wallet.
That's just what they want you to think. I've had several low end galaxies, straight talk "supreme" smart phones, LGs, Insignia, all that crap. My eyes were opened to the truth when I bought the iPhone 5. They all suck compared to it.
I want appropriately priced DLC or I'm quitting. Simple as that. I won't give long term support to rip off artists.
Didn't you already quit because they wouldn't give your low level character a class change and you weren't prepared to re-roll or create an alt?

If noone buys it means it's not priced reasonably.
If at least one person buys it it means it's worth it to that person.
If a million people buy it then it means it's worth it to all those people.
Point is, YOU don't get to decide if a price is reasonable or not.
If it's not reasonable to you, DON'T BUY it. It will not hurt you to NOT BUY something, will it ? Especially since it's about a video game, and not anything important like food, shelter, education or medical care.
I say again, most of the people who pay these con artists are just giving in to their desire to have the item. No in their right mind thinks eight dollars is an appropriate price for a big ass rat.
Actually it is because how good and how educated the developer is that created it. In fact the coder is being devalued here in my opinion because he is worth a whole lot more than $8.
I know it isn't my business but what do you do and how much do you get paid to do it? Just would like to compare you with the developers that code and make this game and see if you are really worth what you do!
I'm in school for Coding myself. And again, what in the world are you talking about? Those guys have set salaries, they're not getting paid directly from these DLCs. They get the same pay no matter what unless they're fired. Reducing these ridiculous prices would not force them to layoffs.
That is wrong in so many ways., where do you think the money to pay the devs comes from? A magic bag of holding? People not buying things like this leads to a downturn in profits, which in turn leads to a reduction in budgets, which can lead to a reduction in costs and trimming of staff. Again, they're overpricing this stuff. This is not a free to play game, they don't need to be charging that much to keep up income.

First you overcharge for the crowns okay, that's one strike. Second, you can only buy them in bundles. Why is that a thing? Same goes for the costume bundles, why can't I just buy the individual items I want? There are a few good ones I like, but I'm not going buy a costume pack with two ugly outfits and one good one. Then 750 crowns costs $8.00, they don't even give you the full 800 crowns. And what can I do with that? Oh I can buy a virtual cat, I'm paying $8 for a virtual ass cat. Then the largest crown package costs half the price of the game, what sense does that make? Where the hell do they get these figures for value? All this crap should be between 1.99-4.99 like any normal cosmetic DLC. This is utterly and absolutely ridiculous. Get rid of the bundles and stop overcharging like this was free to play, it wasn't. You should've thought about that before you had GameStop stock their shelves with a $60 price tag.

Look around you. Almost no one is supporting you.
Because most people are smart enough to understand why they charge the given price.
And some of these buyers do feel it's a bid overcharged, but pay it anyway, for several reasons.
I wanted the Imperial version of ESO, but it was not available anymore at launch. So, I bought the regular version and a few days later I discovered that you could upgrade to the Imperial one via the Crown store. I did it.
Was it worth the price? Not really. But I would do it again.
I liked the 'free' horse and Imperial Race.
But I also want to support the company. It's a kind of little 'thank you' and if they make some profit, odds are higher that they will survive and return a magnificent game I like and play a lot.

Okay here's the thing the prices aren't bad when you compare to other games.
Since you are now focused on the DLC price let's look at this way: WOW is P2P game you have to have a subscription to play. (No real debate there) but you also have to pay for the expansions when they come out and each expansion is about 50-60 bucks
Okay now to ESO it is B2P so $60 or a little more if you straight up bought the imperial edition I think that was $75 (personally i bought that from the crown store)
Now you have two options for the DLC pay 15 bucks a month and auto get it for as long as you hold a sub or buy with crown for 2500 crown
2500 cannot be bought so you buy 3000 crown for $24.99
That means this DLC is less than WOW's expansions and which in theory is $60 + your sub
and and and.....you have 500 crowns left over now i know 500 doesn't really get you anything but the point is you have them which means you can afford to buy less crowns the next time you need to.

You truly are a clueless person.
Again, they're overpricing this stuff. This is not a free to play game, they don't need to be charging that much to keep up income.
You are correct this is not a F2P game and why do you think a P2P, F2P, B2P game does not need income to survive?
They do need it. They don't need double the average DLC price.
This makes sense. Fine. But I still think it's overpriced regardless. They're both overpriced.
You see this is what we're getting at. You may believe they're overpriced, but the market value dictates the price and the market values says that's what they're worth. What you believe is just personal opinion and doesn't make a bit of difference. It can be equated to anything in life. For example McDonalds sell cheese burgers for 99p, would I be right to walk in and demand it cheaper because I don't think it's worth 99p? Hell no, 99p for a burger is cheap as chips. I personally don't think their cheese burgers are worth 99p, but compared to the market value they're cheap and I understand that.
Vote with your wallet.
None is forcing you to pay for crowns. It is merely cosmetics.
If enough people refuse to pay the price the price will change.
I have heard of people who bought epic motifs on the crown store and bought mount training.
To me it is ridiculous but not to them. I would not pay 1 cent for anything I could get in the game, but others might.
