Issues Connecting to Console Megaservers - Info Requested

    Got my canned response to my ticket. I do love going through the trouble of spelling out, in great detail, all the steps I've taken to "fix" the problem with my setup. Then get a generic response from someone who obviously didn't read my email in the first place telling me to do all the things i just told them i did BEFORE i submitted the ticket in the first place.

    Ok so I created a ticket, Playing on Xbox One, Live in Richmond VA, Have been able to play since but keep having Issues.

    Issues for me started Friday night when I tried to change to area chat, now I can not log in at all some times, and at times when I can I am good to play within that area map, If I try to go outside of that map into a new city, cave or sometimes the outlaw refuge I get kicked to main screen, but while in the same map I am free to fast travel 75% of the time, also had an issue with PVP, first time I loaded fine but when I went to change servers It took me almost an hr just to log in again

    I've had an on going issue since Friday aug 7th.

    geographical location: south jersey (right out side of Philadelphia pa)

    Platform: xbox one

    both my xbox & internet connections have been tested and are solid. ESO is the only online game that is experiencing problems

    issues: logging in has been spotty. after selecting "play" the spinning loading icon & sound will stop. if the icon & sound resume, and I get to choose a character," this may be a long load time" will immediately appear. I then have a 30% success rate at the game starting.

    additionally, my level 41 daggerfall Templar is running the quests in Evermore. every time I attempt to enter Evermore & I get a load screen I'm kicked with "unable to establish connection" & "please check your internet connection" messages. it doesn't matter whether it's a wayshine, an NPC created portal or if I zone by traveling by foot or mount. leaving Evermore hasn't been a problem. It's only when entering Evermore zone that this occurs. once I'm able to successfully log back in I'm always at whatever location I was at when I attempted to enter Evermore.

    If someone would tell me as we are appraoching 50 plus hours since first report or problems, what is a reasonable amount of time for the tech staff to at least identify a problem that is keeping at least a portion of your subscritpion based consumers froma accesing your product?

    And after identified what ia a reasonable amount of time to have information communicated to your customers.

    With respect, your canned pre-frab automated email repsonses are well a four letter word that starts with "s" ends wtih a "t" and has "hi" in the middle.

    Your contact number is a voive mail round and round.

    At 50 hours plus, of unscheduled server downtime for a percentage of your playerbase no one has identifed the issue.

    At 50 hours plus, of unscheduled server downtime for a percentage of your playerbase no can communicate even an estimate of what the problem is and how long it will take to fix it?

    Seriously there is zero sense of urgency or communication you could have your entire staff on overtime ordering fast food and gallons of coffee to the office or be on hold with a tech guy in India, not a single person who has posted here can tell the difference.

    Friday Saturday and Sunday nights over 100 people who could find this thread have posted problems and you haven't even restarted the server or offered any communication to us besides post here answer these questions.

    I'm on the fence over unsubscribeing based strictly on the lack of any sense of urgency or willingness to keep open channels of communication, going on three days and best I can tell four posts from anyone from company employees two of which being almost the same.

    Hell I think your mods have closed more threads in the topic the developer posts.

    What was the last thing you were doing in-game, and where were you in-game? Logged out successfully in front of a shop

    When was the first time you got kicked from the game, and have you been able to get in and play since then? Hard time getting to character select screen too, can log in on certain toons cant log in on most. Started for me a few days ago. Get kicked when traveling on the the toon i can log in with.

    Have you created a ticket with Customer Support? Yes. Not much help.

    They arent investigating or identifying anything --- For me this started Friday Night -- as of now Sunday 10:20pm CST I am still having the same issues and YES I submitted tickets, I posted the info they asked for... However so far everything has been ignored by ZOS -- Why dont you - ZOS MATCH my crown purchases that I made on the NA server and MATCH them to the EU server - at least there I can do quests properly and LOG into the GAME

    ESO customer service is investigating and hot on the trail of the culprits. Company camera is streaming the action below.THEY ARE 50 HOURS INTO THIS HARD CORE OVER TIME INVESTIGATION......and they will get to the bottom of this...

    Played Thursday night late into Friday morning cst. Tried logging in Friday night just sat at the loading screen prior to character select. Have tried multiple times since no luck getting passed that screen.
    No ticket.

    I mean Yall know there is a problem so why add to the load by filling one out.

    My question is are there even people working on the problem? 3 days now and no fix? Sounds like that old 80s song remixed

    Just a thought, windows is stealth updating comps world wide to windows 10.

    Any comp with windows 7 or 8 is automatically doing this. Might the spotty connection problems be due to increased download packets?

    Comps past windows 8 can opt in by choice and que for an update but many comps are just going for it without permission.

    Its a big file and worse yet it has had a few bugs causing a download loop regarding video drivers.

    It creates a bad file. Then realizes it has.a bad file and begins the mandatory download. Which is a bad file. It sees it has a bad file. It begins the mandatory update. Etc.

    Just a thought but your internet may be getting highjacked.

    Started playing Friday night around 11 p.m., was disconnected when trying to travel to Craglorn, got back in after one attempt. Went to Bal Foyen to farm some runes then tried to travel to Craglorn again, was booted and unable to get back on. I can get on every now and then but usually get booted when trying to travel.

    No I have not filled out a ticket. From what I've read on the forums it would have been pointless and would have led to far more frustration than the actual connection issue is causing. I've tried everything people have said they've been asked to do and nothing has worked.

    And yes I can get on the EU server but that means next to nothing to me as everything I've worked for is on NA.

    What was the last thing you were doing in-game, and where were you in-game? - I was doing a quest killing Vox and I was in Eidolon's Hollow.
    When was the first time you got kicked from the game, and have you been able to get in and play since then? -August 6th, and I can get in sometimes and play if I continuously try to log in. Once I hit a loading screen I usually get kicked. And have to try signing back in all over again.

    Friday at 4pm PST I was kicked from the server and have had a very difficult time being able to log back in. It takes multiple attempts and a lot of waiting to get to the character select screen. Once I am in as soon as I try to travel anywhere I am kicked off again. I have tried using wayshrines, traveling to players, and on one character I tried to run from Stormhaven to Bangkorai. Now anytime I try to log on that character it shows a loading screen for Stormhaven, then one for Bangkorai and then I am disconnected everytime.

    Didnt think possible but seems even worse now. For the past 2 days ive been able to atleast get on after 30-40 attempts but for past few hours i cant even get to character select screen. Already cancelled eso+ & at this point just want to be refunded for game

    Friday August the 7th @ 7PM MST.
    It's been very touch and go. It will allow me to play for about 1 hour. Then when teleporting to Mournhold or a dungeon. I get disconnected and it says " Please make sure to have a valid internet connection" then it won't let me log back on for the rest of the day.

    Fill out the info

    Well I already posted my info...just came back here to see if there was an luck for anyone at all....and all I see is the same trend. I can't imagine with everyone for the most part having the same issue starting at the same time....it can be that hard to figure something out. Anything at all. I'm disappointed, I have been enjoying ESO even with the random disconnects on loading screens. Wasn't a big deal being I could get right back on.

    This situation, sucks. That's it, I feel for everyone here, if your pissed or passive on this whole deal. You have obviously purchased the game and cannot play either and or enjoy this game. The lack of a status update in general at this point is pi$$ poor honestly.

    Would just like to do dailies at least and train the horse. You win ZeniMax you got me.

    What was the last thing you were doing in-game, and where were you in-game?
    Any Wayshrine, Outlaw Refuge door, and half the load screens. Entering any of those will send me back to the title screen with the following message:
    "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection."
    This happens about 60-75% of the time, give or take. This happens on all of our accounts (myself and my daughters). And yes, I have tried turning it off and back on again, in fact I've power cycled the modem, router, and xbox multiple times just to be sure it wasn't on my end. All other games work fine.

    It's on and off with the game allowing me to get on the NA server at all. I've been able to get on a handful of times, but I don't think I've ever had a full gaming session that didn't include at least one server disconnect. I bought the game within the first month it was released on the consoles. ON THE OTHER HAND, after reading a few forum posts, I created a character on the European Server, and I haven't had a problem yet. Two days strong. The bid issue here is, I've purchased countless amounts of crowns, motifs, mounts, and the digital imperial version as well as being an ESO Plus member. NONE of the purchased items will transfer to the EU server, so I'm kind of hoping the NA gets running properly again.

    No, and it really hasn't crossed my mind to. I've played a lot of online games, and I'm used to servers/games having issues in the first couple months, so i didn't give it a second thought. I really didn't have a big problem with these disconnects, as I assumed they'd be fixed in a relatively reasonable amount of time. In ZOS defense, this is a huge game with large servers. I imagine the more information ZOS receives from us about our own personal experiences with these disconnections, the quicker they will be able to diagnose the issues.

    I had just completed The Harborage Quest returning to Stonefall.
    During the loading screen, I an error message hat the connection to the server was lost and to check my network connection. I restarted my console and checked my network, and found no issues. When trying to connect back to the NA server, it stays on the loading page, and will eventually time out with the same error message about the server connection. I have not been able to get back in. This occurred roughly 8 hours ago at 4:00 PM MST.
    I have created a ticket, but it has been unanswered.
