Right PC masters (and mistresses) I'm home and heading into EU Megaserver. Have a good evening and I'll revive this thread tomorrow morning
In the mean time.....I suspect some people in @ZOS after today might feel a bit like this:
Ahhhh hahah I've never laughed so hard at a forum post...

Oh, so now there'll be news on new content after E3?
That's . . .
Pass the popcorn please.

I understand being upset about the lack of attention to the PC platform. Especially since said lack of attention, especially to PvP has ruined end game and also paying a monthly sub before the game went F2P.
My question to all of the PC players in here is: Why? Why did you continue to force yourselves to suffer through all the [snip]? Why not just cancel your sub and not play the game? Why waste your time?
And yes, it's your time and money to do with as you please. Not jumping on any of you guys at all. Personally, when I had enough of the [snip], I cancelled my sub and dabbled around some other MMORPGs and console games. I'd periodically check the forums on here, usually about once a month or so, to see if anything had changed. Hoping it had to come back.

You should want the consoles to work smoothly, then PC might get attention again and hopefully fixed. That's what I'm hoping for at least.
Sooooooooooooo many PC transfers I've met already. Match set, have a nice evening folks

This thread is not so much about raining on the console parade as it is simply a little unification for us pc users who actually want to believe in the future of this game.
I have been putting both TIME and MONEY in to mmorpg's for over 10 years only to watch the majority of these companies grab as much cash as they can and then leave their player base holding the bag.
Ive seen it with Sony , Ive seen it with Trion , and a dozen others. I remember buying my copy of Fury in the store and seeing Auron shut down the servers within 2 weeks because of their bad decisions.
People are tired of this trend. We go from one empty shell to the next because of the never ending cash grab that ultimately results in companies ignoring their source of income.
Every time we start a new game we take a gamble on the company to deliver because we have no guarantee ever that it will work out , this is the bane of gaming.
This thread is making light of a situation that has most of us saying " here we go again " while we desperately hope that we aren't investing in false hope and empty promises.
There is nothing childish about not wanting to waste your time and money chasing the carrot someone is dangling in front of your nose. I work full time , built my pc and want my moneys worth when I invest in gaming . I don't like being jerked around and neither does anyone else.

I don't think that'll do it ...
I need an infusion of liquefied popcorn.
Everybody else is releasing new stuff even before E3 to get people hyped.
ZOS can't even get anything done at E3.

Now we just need a catchy name for the General Help Exchange / Topic Talking Opportunity. Whatever to call it? Anyway, we should all offer our help having one formed.

This thread needs more popcorn. It's getting too serious. lol

Been listening to the Atmospheric Black Metal Albums channel for a while now while running veteran dungeon pledges. Really kicks off in Elden Hollow.
If ESO can't survive without the console users, then the game deserves to die. And if it did, then maybe the pc game companies would stop catering to the console users.
There are game companies that only do console games. Let the console users play those games.
To answer the itemization question: We have done a lot of work to make the itemization fun and exciting in the next major update. There are lots of cool unique sets for players to chase after in multiple different areas. We're doing extensive balance work to make sure they all give competitive bonuses instead of the current paradigm where everyone just chases the few uber powerful sets. This will allow players to customize sets to their playstyle instead of just getting whatever adds the most damage.
Additionally the new content has a short term and a long term item chase as well. To go hand in hand with that the power spike on the new items is bigger, so players are more rewarded for upgrading their gear.
For the next major update you'll see a lot of cool customization options with all the crazy new item sets. For example we've got one that will have you running around chasing orbs for bonus damage, or additional attacks vs targets with damage shields.
In terms of XP, we're actually buffing for some areas in the next major update. Specifically public dungeons and craglorn are being increased. Additionally we're increasing the XP that veteran level quests give so there's more of a parity between gains between questers and grinders. Lastly we're reducing the amount of XP required to get a veteran rank so players can get to the max level content sooner.
So, anybody still interested in the Next Major Update™?
> Believe it or not I am. I'm on this crazy train till the end. I took a month off from playing, came back today and met the login screen about six times in four hours. PVP was just EP farming DC at their main gates, so yah, I'm taking another break. To answer the itemization question: We have done a lot of work to make the itemization fun and exciting in the next major update. >We've heard that all year since E3. I'm actually not waiting anymore and will be surprised if anything interesting comes of it besides the gear token like grind of other games.

>This isn't fun in my book. I'd rather have straight up PVP rather than playing chase the dragon Ball thing for longer than the buff is applied for. Like the buff from Cyrodil dungeons that usually lasts till you get into a fight, then expires. Unless they fixed it.In terms of XP, we're actually buffing for some areas in the next major update. > They just nerfed everything into the ground xp wise and said it was for overall balance. Why mention the vet levels xp being buffs when it's been said in the next big update that they will be removed? I'm guessing that since people found the xp potion and complained about the ironic timing of the xp nerf, they were smart and reversed their scheme..
No? Nobody?
Thought so. You can only get hyped without anything to show for so often.

In fairness, when I created the thread about the on screen adverts used for Server Maintenance when it reached close to 6-7 pages with a LOT of views, they did act on it.
There's probably a forum protocol that when a thread gets to a certain level, and it's weighted heavily towards a negative impact on the society/game in general, they act on it and roll out the heavy weights.
Anyway, this thread is getting to serious now
I suspect this is how it was for the console players this morning

Just wanted to say: Thanks for this thread, it has amused the heck out of me over the last couple of days while watching the, seemingly, never ending stream of mis-located threads swamp GD.
