i confirm that our guild, The Noore, has seen similar attrition rates - many of us are seasoned pvp'ers who don't get our noses put out of joint by getting 'pwned by l33t players', or getting /tells sent to us that even a kindergarten kid would be embarassed by how unoriginal it is etc - it's all part of mmo pvp - we're all good with that
also good with it being a new game and that there will be frustrations and glitches along the way
NOT ok with the lack of communication and response times - that, in our opinion, has been the biggest fail, and if not changed, will continually contribute to ESO PvP never realizing its true awesome potential

Agreed. How hard would it be to say, "we think this is not intended and we are actively working on it. Send this type of information to us..." This defeaning silence is what makes me suspicious that something worse is afoot.

You probably should read more than 1 or 2 posts before commenting.
This is NOT about shield stacking, which IS a little OP considering Nightblade specifically gets no class shield while every other class does. But that is another topic.
This is about a well video-documented exploit involving vampire mist form that allows you to keep the 75% damage reduction indefinitely while continuing to fight and deal damage.

Luvsfuzzybunnies✭✭✭Blazing spear works really good on this idiot. Ran into him tonight @ Chalman on Chillrend. He cant use his exploit when he is permastunned.
Edit to add, we actually killed that whole squad of four of them about six times each (except the sorc that kept blinking away, but its okay, the exploit counter has been found. spam the living hell out of them with blazing spear and it breaks their rotation)
He seemed immortal up until i stunlocked his fail.
So you're saying exploiting to kill an exploiter works who knew?

I was about to go on a screed about why I think ridicule ("naming and shaming") is a good thing, and why I think the forums are taking the wrong approach.And by the way: "naming and shaming" isn't a good way to prevent exploits. Exploiters will probably feel honored if they get mentioned and honest players will get frustrated and stop playing. "Naming and shaming" only helps the exploiters.
But what you said makes sense. So, thank you!

The reason we don't simply re-post the MANY videos of MANY people using this mist form exploit is because the last time we did, ZOS deleted the video and closed the thread for "naming and shaming" because the player name was showing in the video.

Incidentally, I think just about everyone that is actually aware of this issue knows the most notorious exploiter by name by now. Name rhymes with "Thinksey."

what exploiting would you say I've done? please tell me. I never spam skills to build ults. so pray tell. I've defended other groups falsely accused who arent my faction or guild. see the commentary on the dragon leap. I've also reported DC people who have exploited. Includes thie mistform exploit. Screen shotted a player in dc who bragged about being unkillable with it and reported him. Nothing was done. so again, what specific exploit are you accusing me of? There ARE bugs (I won't post how they work because I'll just get banned for trying to do a PSA) that allow you permanent speed buffs and a permanent 75% damage reduction buff.
There ARE unbreakable CC exploits that are clearly not intended and which prevent a person with a full stamina bar from using break free.
