I have accepted however ZoS's ToS and I'll abide by it to the degree in which it is written. I've never named the player in question to my knowledge in this thread, and as I've said I've reported this player multiple times in game as I have to no small number of other players who abuse exploits and I like everyone else in this game will tell you that opening a ticket to report a player for exploiting is an exercise in futility. Even so, when people complain about the player/players in question I explain what is occurring and encourage them to report him as well.

I'm pursuing every avenue possible to get this exploit (and other's) identified and fixed, not just the ones you find acceptable.

Then why don't you head back over to the German forums and troll people there. This isn't the only thread started over this player. This is now the fourth thread by four different people claiming an exploit.

If you want to speak intelligently or at very least from an informed position, read through the entire thread, understand exactly what is occurring and then state a position. As it stands now you're just flaming people from a position of ignorance and stirring up a thread which was actually rather civil.

150ish damage crits on Venom Arrow is not the norm..Esp when that person isn't blocking

Great evidence although I'd remove the video from the thread and PM him with it as that appears to cross the threshold of ZoS N&S policy for them.

Imagine if every player were using this exploit? Imagine if a truly skilled player were doing so? It may have to come to that before ZoS does something and fixes it but a low level Sorc sitting in the middle of 6-8 people casting with impunity is pretty absurd any way you look at it.

I triple stack shields and I can last a few seconds against 3 people before I have to get out of damage range or I die.

You shot 3 videos of players you think are cheating. Did you even report these players in-game and you saw this as the only resort? There is no intelligence

For me this thread shouldn't exist in the first place. You feel like I am trolling your thread because I ignore the whole exploit? Yea, I do because it is not done in a manner that is acceptable for me, it is done by accusing players and showing their in-game names to everyone. You could have said there is one vr8 vampire templar .... instead you actively promoted your youtube channel by including a link in your signature and even pointed that signature out in one post. Yes, this thread for me is solely about you shaming people. I will continue to troll this thread until it is closed. Keep adding more witty remarks, keep them coming.

it becomes more and more prevelant on EU as well.
but im not sure if it is truly connected to mist form. as i had that effect on my char without even having that ability trained and thus not even slotted.
but after an excessive usage of shieldskills (blazing shield, healing ward, harness magicka) my char became nearly dmg imune for about 10sec (dmg values between 0-3crit) . and because of sorcs excessive usage of shields that could be a reson too.

I've never had my mitigation reduced and I use shields all day long. The only reason I'm almost certain it is related to Mistform or at least being a vampire is because every player using it is a vampire and I've heard there is a mistform exploit that involved going to a menu and back out via a macro. Apparently this wasn't the case but video evidence shows that after mistforming (whether on purpose or by accident) players are briefly being hit for normal damage again.

This isn't a set based exploit it is an ability-based exploit of some sort, likely tied to a macro and/or animation cancelling. The Sorc in question was using this when he was VR3 months ago, and I haven't seen him for awhile since so I never bothered reporting it. If it were just him it would be different but since he is teaching others to use it a major threat exists to the game.

As far as my "Methods" being amoral(sic) that is just absurd. ZoS made the rule about "Naming and Shaming" for their own reasons, it isn't a matter of morals at all. The problem with laws and rules are that they often end up hurting the people they're designed to protect. This is the case with the N&S policy.

Since this thread is becoming a bit off topic I think I can add a bit off topic thoughts. Zenimax has a big communication problem and they are doing everything wrong they could do wrong while handling this. It's not about what they do against exploits and exploiters. The problem is how they communicate the problem.

- Zenimax should make a clear statement what they consider an exploit and what happens if someone uses an exploit.
- Zenimax should make a clear statement about what exploits they are aware and what they are doing against it. It should be clear to the player base what they are allowed to do and what is against the rules.

If Zenimax would acknowledge an exploit and tell the player base that they do everything they can to fix that exploit and to punish players who use that exploit there would be less people willing to "name and shame" and the main response from forums mods wouldn't be a standard posting about "naming and shaming".
If Zenimax would tell people what they consider an exploit less people would wonder if something is an exploit and exploiters couldn't hide behind "creative use of game mechanics".

The main problem aren't the exploiters, the real reason why people get upset is that Zenimax simply seems to ignore the whole problem. I'm not saying that Zenimax isn't doing everything they can to prevent exploiting - I'm saying they are doing a bad job at communicating their efforts and policies.

Even if only a very, very small group of players are exploiting or cheating. The silence from Zenimax results in many players thinking almost everybody is exploiting and Zenimax is doing nothing against it.
If people unsubscribe from ESO because they think there is to much exploiting going on it hurts the game and it doesn't matter if Zenimax is fixing exploits as fast as they can and if they are banning everybody exploiting or if there isn't any exploit at all. The only thing that matter is that a lot of people think a lot of exploiters are in the game.

And by the way: "naming and shaming" isn't a good way to prevent exploits. Exploiters will probably feel honored if they get mentioned and honest players will get frustrated and stop playing. "Naming and shaming" only helps the exploiters.
