Add me to the list of folks starting to wear a bit thin on this stuff. I have been noticing practically invulnerable players more and more. This weekend it just kept happening. In one example, there was a sorc that fell off of a keep wall right in front of about 9 of us. Of course, we put all of the DPS we could muster right in to him... nothing. He absorbed it all.. he health went down at first and then just would not budge. He literally walked through our siege line while being attacked (after fighting back for a while) and joined a zerg that was on the other side the hill. We could not get him to zero health.
See posts like this are the problem. This example could easily have been someone casting Hardened Ward, Harness Magicka, and Healing Ward over and over. You make generalities like about all 9 of you unloading but are you sure everyone instantly started DPSing? Did he Bolt Escape (leaves the glowing orb) giving himself temporary immunity to projectiles? You'd be amazed at what people with proper builds and no lag can do.
No, I don't think it is part of the problem sharing an observation. The sorc did not bolt escape and he was fighting back. I don't know if he is exploiting or not (though I do lean toward exploiting) though that degree of survivability is a problem either way you look at it. It makes people cry big cow tears that vamps with a specific armor set can move fast "it makes them OP! unfair advantage! nerf it!" but then we are supposed to accept a player that can absorb several other players laying in to them and they can just walk on by? I know at least four of the others attacking the guy and they hit like trucks. If that was just spamming skills on his part, then there are some seriously broken mechanics in play here....and they are new. Either way it is frustrating and needs a fix.
this happened to me, i was immune and i was like.. wtf i just stood their in the middle of a zergballSo, we've all seen this frequently in Cyrodiil, I assume - instances where your PC enemies simply don't take any damage even though you put 3000+ dmg into them.
Yesterday I caught someone by surprise and pull off a great opener which was dark flare (642 dmg) + binding javelin (242 dmg) + soul assault (3180 dmg). During this assault, the target did not fight back and was lying on the ground for most of the duration. Problem is that his health bar did not move - at all. And he wasn't healed either.
Subsequently he got up and started fighting back for a good 10-15 seconds until his mates came and ended the fight.
So, it definately was not a case of latency or desynching.
What is this kind of BS that we're seeing ever so often? Is it a phasing issue where you can see your enemy but not damage them, or is it that armor set stacking that more and more people are talking about?
Well in that case, CAN WE GET A GM ON THIS??ezareth_ESO wrote: »A GM never looked at his stuff. This 2% health and getting up maybe a glitch because it has happened to me 2 or 3 times. It normally happens in these zerg fights where I get hit by many spells at the same time. I'm sitting there frantically spamming dragons blood. Normally I'm too slow and just die but you'll get rare case where you stay on the 2% for a few seconds and then the healing will work and you're still alive.
We need some raging templars to kill those blinking sorcs. Sorcs absorb a lot of damage, II raging II templars hit 3.7k with one shot with a blazing shield (have a screenshot if someone wants to see my death recap). Do you thing that would be enough?

Do you now, post vids maybe? Perhaps, just perhaps, you don't know everything about the game? You have all these people crying wolf over a fallacy.

You are right. Players like this are worthless scrubs.ezareth_ESO wrote: »c.gregoryb14_ESO wrote: »ezareth_ESO wrote: »RonnieDoitch wrote: »I know some people that know how to do it. I never said I knew how, I said I know some people who have told me they know how and based upon conversations with them I believe them, especially since one of them was using the exploit when I called them out on it. Funny thing is he never denied that it was an exploit, in fact that is what he called it as well.
I get tells daily of people reporting you, it is only a matter of time before someone at ZoS gets off their bum and bans you.
Either way until this is fixed, everyone is always going to be wondering if the person they are fighting is using the exploit. When people don't have any confidence in a competitive system being free from exploits and hacks, they typically leave it. We've seen it with so many exploits in the past and I'm sure we'll see it on future exploits.

Glad I only came across this once, and I believe it was accidental on that person. However, I have still unsubbed, as 1.4 eliminated the small amount of faith I had left. Fortunately, my brother and I are enjoying the release of another, truly "play as you want" MMO.
This criminal indifference is what's driving many of us to move on to another game. I just don't get the silence.Princess_Asgari wrote: »@ezareth_ESO has videos of this as do I. I have 3 separate recordings on the certain sorc and his friends in question. All of my videos show them not blocking and no shields visible on screen on in the buff bar.
They either take 0 damage to 75 depending on the hit. This damage is what is being reported from various attacks at different times: Crystal frags, Overload, Mages Furry.
I have reported them and requested that @ZOS respond to me and they have not returned any messages in over a week. I did also respond to their usual email you receive after reporting a player.
In my opinion they do not care.
