    Ignore features are a bit pointless, quite often you see the ignored comment it other peoples quotes, especially if they genuinely have an agenda, rather than someone who makes a single comment you disliked. (Based on comments on forums with ignore features)

    That said there have been times I would like to have the ignore feature, the geniuses (Severe Sarcasm BTW) who think putting this game in the joke thread for example, or anyone who responds to someone disagreeing with them with vitriolic retorts. I might see them quoted, but won't be missing them myself.

    We appreciate all of the feedback about the ignore feature. We are still looking at our options here, but may have something soon.

    While there aren't formatting buttons for this, that tag already exists! Text size can be set between 0 and 7.

    size=zero

    Would love to add my support for the idea of an 'ignore' feature. Sure, their quoted text -might- be seen once in awhile, but that's far more preferable then coming across their drivel time after time while trying to get to posts that are worth my time.

    +1 in support of an Ignore feature.

    Ah, the hidden feature. :)
    Thanks though. I tried it a while ago, and it didn't work then (even though clearly in the signature it did).

    Oh, and could you move Mark All (Categories) Viewed out of the quick menu or at least at the bottom of it? I prefer the full forums on my iPhone, but since it's nested right between Recent and Participated, I've accidentally hit them a couple of times.

    Please, add more forum pictures, especially the Ancestors from Altmer Pantheon. I would like to have Auri-El but unfortunately there is no such option. Thalmor 'Star' would be welcomed too.

    I would second the need for more avatars, and would take it one step further and ask for the ability to upload our own avatars. You don't have to worry about policing them, the players can report nasty avatars easy enough when they appear.

    This would be nice, but I can understand why it's not allowed. A system that allowed us to use a snapshot of our characters from the character select screen could work as well.

    Censorship is a little over the top for an adult forum.

    The game includes things like cannibalism, backstabbing, thievery, racism/speciesism and all kinds of things. But unPC words from players are horrible? LOL!

    Why can't Dev Tracker be list-based like everything else? The newspaper column layout makes it bloody hard to browse, especially when there are long posts which go on in one column for page after page.

    My sig could be a lot cleaner and have a bit of flair (that won't bog down mobile users) if I could use tiny images instead of words for a description:

    I only did two of them, sorry. Don't have enough time to myself today.

    I'm hoping there can be a better way to order the discussions. Prioritize them on the basis of views and comments along with when the discussion was started. There are some threads that even with decent activity within first 24 hours drop out of sight unless stickied. Not sure the mechanic but currently it doesn't fully make sense.

    Fix poll editing.

    That's deliberate.

    It's to stop people starting a poll without a couple of options, getting a load of votes in, then changing it so it has the options they left out and saying "Look people don't want BLAH BLAH BLAH".

    It's annoying that we can't edit polls for options we remember afterwards, but it does stop creative editting by biased people.

    Implementing poll editing would be very involved, to protect against abuse. It is something we can look at in the future, but right now we're prioritizing other fixes. On the subject of polls, however, we are pursuing the ability to view results without voting in them.

    @ZOS_AlanG ever considered utilizing the icons (forum board icons) as navpoints with text on MouseOver only? This would give more room on mobile devices for more content.

    @Firestar_
    Smilies that are ESO Icons.

    Would be easy to make though don't mix the two terms, smileys and icons, they are different in usage/appearance. And it may go against their "no image" policy in signatures, even though its a fairly small size.

    It wouldn't be an image. That's why I said make it a smiley. Smilies are allowed in signatures AFAIK as I've seen them used in a bunch of them.

    You are asking for an icon, at least of what your above image displays. Smileys display a specific emotion, though they too are images. Also there's no logic in not having images on the signature in the forum, when those can be scripted out for the mobile version or as we can via the profile, set them to not be displayed.

    @ZOS_AlanG could you please see to it that @ZOS_BrianWheeler and all Devs, for that matter, get admin status, so their posts are trackable? I suspect quite a few people might have missed them already.

    Dev's should already have all of the visibility features admin do, but checking Brian's latest post some of them aren't applying. We'll look into that, thanks for the heads up!

    Update: This has been fixed for all developer accounts. The fix isn't retroactive, unfortunately, but it shouldn't be a problem going forward.

    I agree that for an M rated game the censorship is a little intense. For example the following will get blocked out: Players were a little too gung-*** and jumped right in....I think it's a little over the top but w.e. its not a huge deal.

    I do miss the dislike button from the beta forums and it sucks that a few people running around abusing it (disliking every post in every thread lol) ruined it for everyone. I think a much better solution would have been to ban users who were abusing rather than remove the feature for everyone. I mean we don't shut down game chat because of gold spammers, we ban the gold spammers. It was a nice feature for troll posts that would let people realize they were trolling (sometimes they really don't get it). It also lets you express yourself more fully since all of the options now are encouragement.

    Having a Dislike button is an invite to troll a members post/topic, it doesn't matter the contents posted. All you will get from this is members avoiding to post their view or even visiting the forum again. Oh btw if you troll a trolls posts, does that make you better or worse a member than the troll?

    Please explain how clicking on a dislike button is more expressive than actually posting. I don't know about you, but when I disagree with someone, I actually tell them why I disagree. Which is better done via a thoughout statement/arguement, not a meaningless dislike.

    If your logic is that people click the button rather than post their view, then wouldn't it be best to eliminate all of the buttons? People can just click agree rather than post their opinion.

    The buttons are just a tool. Sure some people will abuse it and troll with it but who cares? I'm not going to think less of you because someone clicked disagree on your post. It's just another option to express your opinion on another person's post.

    I didn't read all 13 pages of this thread, but I wanted to chime in that this is probably the worst forum design for the best game I've ever played. Poorly organized, insufficiently granular, bizarre presentation of irrelevant language redundancy, and just generally a whopping disappointment. It's pretty and all, but please give more weight to substance over form. Even the old text based forums were far, far superior.
