@ZoS_AlanG. Now.. about those four "Unanswered" posts that are on my tracker.. They are not there when I go to view them.....Marking them viewed does not help.

The phantom questions are a separate issue - a question can be read or unread whether it has been answered or not. We are aware of the problem, and that it recently jumped from three phantom questions to four.

Can we get the "thread sinking" function removed? It's the most deceitful thing I've ever seen a company do on their forums and it's being abused to silence criticism.

I actually like the feature. If it was in the hands of users rather than mods. Let me dismiss threads like a I can dismiss announcements and let mods just close threads that have to come to an end. In the end, you'll come to almost the same result, but it's way more community driven and less questionable.

The 'home' key is your friend.

Mobile has the link. And no home key. And itd still be useful.

Yes if you move away from the forums, such as the support area, it does become difficult to return, a home button would help.

Please put a "Return to the top of the page" link at the bottom, or another set of links like the ones at the top of the page. It would make is smoother and faster than always having to either back arrow and refresh, or scroll all the way up in order to get back to the forum menu.

I would like to see a section in the forum for polls. I don't hate polls. I just think most people either enjoy them or are annoyed by them. This would benefit all.

My only gripe with the new layout is that we seem to have lost "Server Status".

Because it clutters up the whole place. What happens when Spanish gets added and Russian and Chinese? Funny though, I haven't run across German or French in Chat or any language barrier while LFG for a dungeon. In the game must everyone wishing to converse speak English? Are there just very few who don't. If that's the case why cater to them in the forums?

I've tried my best to be patient but even if nothing else PLEASE PUSH THE DEV TRACKER UPDATE OUT!

It's been weeks now since we heard you have something in the works for it and once again we're at a massive patch and it's almost impossible to follow the Dev tracker because of the terrible vertical design, worse is that it shows quotes of quotes of quotes.

Here are some examples of Dev Trackrs which are not a complete PITA to work with.

Now let's attach an image of your Dev Tracker

Just to give you some idea how absurd it is, that's a 1890 x 4824 pixel image, just to be able to read one entry. With entries that long (patch notes!) the tracker becomes almost unreadable.

An Ignore feature would be most welcome and would make the forums much more pleasant to read.

Most of the forum improvements we are working on are interconnected, and we aren't able to push individual features live until all of the work is complete. We are looking at other improvements in the meantime, as well as separate forum bugs.

Thanks for the update, I'll try to wait a bit longer for that Developer Tracker update but ugh... I want to cry when I see the current one and all the quoted quotes.

How about fixing the quoting on mobile? I cant even do it now because it appears to be using html tags and all Im seeing in messages I quote are the <div> and <blockquote> tags. Its a mess.

You just cant stop breaking mobile can you?

The number in the unanswered question field keeps going up and down, even though there are only two questions in it.

It's seven on my screen at the minute, but was eight and nine earlier.

I would like to at least have the option to sort comments so the most recent shows up first.

The issue I am finding with the current language options is inconsistency:
Official News & Patch Notes, General Discussion, PVE Discussion each have three language options on the home page, whereas these language options are nested within other categories such as Crafting, Alliance War, Add-ons & UI Mods, etc. If each category was displayed in all three languages on the home page, english readers would simply select from the far left, deutsch from the center, and french from the far right.

That said, IMHO there should be a preference/option for this in our forum user profile--whatever our preferred language is set to is what we would see.

Perhaps they could allow people to select multiple languages rather than just one. I am not sure how people would be screwed over if they could only select one though, since the only content they would lack are the user comments in those languages.

If I speak English and French I dont want to filter out either language because there may be something on one side that isnt on the other.

Have problem? Check forums. Might be a solution in the FR section but both it and DE have less responses than EN, so if you understand English, avoiding English forum is a disadvantage.

For the record, Im American and my multilingual capacity is limited to English and basic Swedish at best.

Hey, here is an idea - Why not look at how MOST forums are set up and set this one up like those? Because that is how MOST people are used to having them set up. Because this forum is just plain weird. It's like sitting in an upside-down chair or something.

The colors are way to bright, the menus are in strange places, the organization of where stuff is placed is bad, the topics are a mess.

And you just don't get what people are saying about the language problem.

When you click on the English button -
ALL YOU SHOULD SEE ANYWHERE ON THE SCREEN IS ENGLISH!!!
(This should also apply for when you click on German or French buttons as well)

Let me paint a picture for you since words don't seem to be working,
See the areas with German and French in them? If I clicked on the English button it is obvious that I don't need to see that stuff. If i wanted to see it I would have clicked on the German or French buttons. Get it now?
