Should be a law that prevents game companies to force u to buy twice just to get something we should have option to get. Where was the pet polls in all of this?

They said there will be other dogs available in the future. Careful, people wanted to lynch me for suggesting that dyes become available for $1.99-2.99 per on the store.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

Now look at this paragraph in particular:

Note the part in bold, and mull through for a bit while players who see this type of thing are concerned about the content and game going forward. Paying more on average to experience less is not a very good thing for gaming as a whole, unless you are a business or marketing major.
That's one argument; another being it's just plain wrong to give more access to new players (as they can obtain beta/preorder content) than subscribers who have been invested with you from the start.

To be fair I love the mudcrab. I live on the beach so I use to play with crabs all the time I love crustaceans.
Still I feel all of your pain, it was a silly move I don't personally want the dog but I see the issue. The quakecon one didn't bother me because YOU COULD have gone to quakecon and got that pet - the issue with the grey dog is there is no possible way for you to get it.
