I only noticed Force because i randomly saw his stream on Twitch. As for Angryjoe(i've been subbed to him for years) after watching his stream where he skipped through almost every single bit of dialogue and then complained that ESO wasn't making him excited to play, well yeah. I think i'll judge the game based on my own experiences rather than these "professional gamers"

(Ok maybe I dramatized it a little for reading pleasure, but that’s how it sounded to me)

Read back a little and you will see why...the whole bug issue got glanced over for a few posts but break it down for ya:

1) Some guy named force has a YouTube thing with subscribers (how many who knows I seen a few numbers)

2) Op is predicting the game will go ftp based on this guy having a hissy over a bug (we all get hissy over bugs at some point)

3) People point out why his opinion matters more….cause he is on YouTube duh…

4) People don't understand go back to topic of bug

5) I made a huge typo in the English grammar and told someone to bite me …

6) fixed said typo

7) Made fun of the youtuber (oh wait that was just me)

8) And yes in the end the bug is horrid and needs fixed very soon but it is not all doom and gloom …It needs fixed it is not a small bug by any means .

Too many of you are defending some of this stuff.

Hot fixes and patches should have happen faster. In other games they get ready to do things like this. It was giving in feedback and unless they ignored player feedback they KNEW game breaking bugs was in it before it got release. Hell even some classes skills are bugged still.

So no matter how great a game is and will be, the fact we have to accept this sub par service at the start is unacceptable.

The title of this thread doesn't help, so I can't really blame them. But, yeah, people don't seem to be focusing on the problem.

Some are blaming this Force guy because he abandoned a quest (since you're limited to 25) and that he shouldn't have been expecting a BASIC FUNCTION to work properly on release. It's not like he was jumping around like a lunatic and complaining that he gets stuck in terrain.

Of course, the answer to all of this is simple: Zenimax Online will eventually kill the bug. For some folks, how soon they do it will have a huge impact on their gaming experience.

I bought ESO because of watching Force's videos, so yea, I'd say it sucks to see him getting upset about the game, but he's right. There are problems, and everytime a quest bugs out and I try to google it, I immediately find a post that says "this has been around since Beta xx"

Again I want to point out force angryjoe and others are not journalists. In fact what they do is not journalism. So you cant even call them actual reviewers.

The fact of the matter is. The guy is right, There is no excuse, and this should have been hot fixed like 3 days ago. If they don't have the man power hire it. They should have been better ready for this. The fact it is still going on after many of us reported it shows some thing.

Journalism has all kinds of shades of gray….but I do not think that is the issue here to debate.

The bug is horrid and game breaking but most likely will get sorted out soon enough. (I have some faith)

Why his opinion matters over someone else's is another debate… to me personally I find it hilarious that people will watch this guy complain, but someone else post about the same bug in frustration on the forums they will get told in a hot minute to stop complaining it will get fixed.

I respect what he does in his job but I hold no value in his opinion we all have one.

I love how all the irrelevant people in the forums bash on force.

The simple fact is , he is well know enough , that he got 350k subs in his channel , he is well know enough , that he was called to the closed beta server and managed to make videos about the veteran ranks before the game was even out, he well know enough , that i bet the devs will fix HIS problems before fixing the problems other threads here got.

He might not be TB , but he is still somebody in the gaming industry , while i can bet most if not all here are nobody.

We're not "bashing on force". We're bashing on the idiots who follow force as if he is a deity. That fact that you think he's a "somebody" is quite funny. He's only a "somebody" in your relatively small circle. This is clearly evidenced by the overwhelming majority of gamers who have mentioned that they have no idea who "force" is.

So again. No one is bashing against force (except a very small number of idiots). We are bashing people like you who hold this guy's opinion above another's, and act as though his clout is so great that he matters more to Zenimax than the voices of thousands of casual gamers who are equally paying their bills.

I was never trying to say that any YouTuber had a more valid opinion than anyone else. I was merely trying to point out that if someone who had previously put out tons of contents PRAISING the game was now annoyed with it then that could only be a bad thing.

Now, that may be a good thing as it MAY get CS more on the ball with tickets and we MAY get major bugs like bank wipes etc resolved just that little bit quicker.

And before anyone points out, yes I know I have been guilty of name calling, Internet ananomity makes people type things they would never do otherwise. One good thing I can report though is that I have now been promoted to level 3 on this forum which is really exciting. And I have lots if badges as well now. Brings on a nice glowy feeling and totally compensates for bank wipes and stuck on main quest line.

I am sure there is a ton of "somebody's" in the gaming industry and I am happy for them.
I am not bashing him in anyway. I even stated I respected what he does …

But what he does mean nothing to me … I just hold no value in his opinion….I prefer to find out and form my own. I don’t need someone else to make it for me.

If others need to put people on a pedestal and take what they say as fact, which is your right to do so. I just can't do that to someone in a video game. I play the game to have fun and enjoy it. I don't need to turn to someone on a video to tell me if I will or not.

This in no way is a disrespect to anyone who holds a different opinion than me. In fact that is what makes this world so great we can all form our own thoughts.

So I am a nobody in a video game lol but I am a nobody who can form her own opinions..:)

I think it's more to the point that someone who was as excited about ESO as Force is starting to get fed up with the bugs. Force was very excited about the game and his videos were great, as well as being great advertisement for the game. I had no intentions of getting it until I started watching his gameplay videos.

Lots of people are extremely excited about ESO, and many of them are fed up with show-stopping bugs. Force's opinion isn't more important than theirs simply because he runs a YouTube channel with 350k subscribers.

That also doesn't mean that Force's opinion isn't important. No one is saying that it isn't.

We're just saying that the OP insulted everyone here by saying that it was.
