I do some research as a consumer but in the end I need to make up my own mind…..

I respect that he makes a living doing what he is doing (I don’t pay much attention to him).

Without sounding like I am belittling the op, I just don’t any other way to say this ….
The sky is not falling who cares how many subs he has heck that dooms day preacher guy in 2012 had a hecka lot of subs as well and ….we are still here . I am not saying anything bad ,but the way you put the post op made it sound very childish and awe struck. Honestly I was waiting for the" SQUEEEEEEEEEE look what I found" …

Now that I said that I do see why you posted it and pointing out the bad bugs in the game. They should be addressed and bringing it to the attention of everyone who was not aware is good and appropriate here considering we do not have a general forums.

With that said and no disrespect, lol but reread your posts it sounds very, OMG worship what the guru says because he has viewers.
Respect him because he is doing what he loves to do and gets paid for it but not everyone of those subscribers will agree with everything he says and I am not a business major ( military nurse by trade) but I don’t think the game gods are trembling cause he is mad …..

    * It's hard to show inflexion in a forum. I got what you were saying and why you put it up .

That their entertaining not knowledgeable - I'm Canadian so I can use a hockey comparison: the most popular commentator on hockey up here is Don Cherry, but he's completely out of touch and hasn't much of a clue about the finer details of the sport. He just sticks to what he thinks the game should be like and provides and entertaining interlude. Doesn't mean I actually care about what he thinks.

Yeah, I've never had more than maybe 10-15 at a time, and I'm a completist. I pickup every quest I come across, even if I'm not doing it immediately. I guess I find it odd that this guy chose to abandon the quest simply because he wanted to do it later.

Not that this fact somehow excuses the existence of this bug.

The problem with so many streamers is that they are horrible journalist´s. They praise a game and as soon one thing goes a way that they dislike, they keep complaining.

TB did so with wow, Kripp did so with D3 and now Force does so with TESO.

But you can be damn sure that they will cry like a little baby as soon they don't get a beta key for a new product. I remember Kripp how whiny he was, demanding that his fans make petitions and stuff so he can play again - a game he bashed big time ...

I know the fans of these streamers don't want to hear it, but they only care about their own profit. If bashing is in, they will bash. If praising is, they will praise.

Yeah....remember when Star Wars Galaxies first came out? or hell Ultima? Everquest? 90% less whining and moaning, and 99% less trolls too

In all honesty, I think it's a generational thing.

I would be willing to stake money on my observation that most of the whiners seem to fall into the 16-25 year old demographic.

People who were around and sentient during the early MMO days were enthralled by every little change they made. Just being on EQ1 was like magic.

That sense of appreciation doesn't really fade over time. Every little step forward the gaming industry makes incites further awe. And why shouldn't it? We're using electricity and metal to transmit realistic video around the world with milliseconds of latency.

But for someone who grew up with an iPhone in their hand and a laptop in front of them from age 8 onward, it's a lot harder to make an impression. They want perfection, they want it yesterday, and they want it connected to Facebook and Youtube seamlessly -- and they want it for free.

So spot on, and exactly what I was thinking when I typed my short reply. Very well put..

And you do not have to be a "whinny little brat" to be inconsequential
He did state that he explored the entire zone to look for the quest(s) as opposed to just going straight to Kragenmoor.

What matters is that there are major bugs that needs to be ironed out ASAP. The guy in the video isn't calling doom on TESO. That's the OP's attitude. This Force guy is calling Zenimax Online out because the replies he got from them were far from helpful (I'm not saying customer service is bad but, really, the reply he got from them was awful) and now he's blocked from what he wants to do due to a bug that could take weeks to rectify.

Buggy or not, should content like an entire zone be locked by a specific quest? How is that serving role playing? This is more than dealing with the consequences of your choices... Is your character gaining anything for being blocked from this content?

The guy wants to access a zone he needs to get to in order to continue progressing through the game. The how or why is irrelevant. Is it bugged? Was it intentional? Was he to blame? Was Zenimax to blame? Did the server borked out? Who cares? This kind of situation shouldn't exist in an MMO.

Force even mentions that a friend of his is lost interest in the game due to this. How many more are going to go through the same problems? How many will stay?

I'm not calling doom on the game or anything but this -IS- important.

We all are entitled to our own, but if you aren't going to play a game because of someone else's opinion, then I'm sorry for you. ESO, is still a new game and of course bugs will arise, but they will get them fixed. And No ZOS probably doesnt give a Damn about some reviewer who's repeating issues that I'm sure they've already heard of.

I'm not calling doom on the game or anything but this -IS- important.

I was more detailed and specific in my first post and did not nor do i feel the need to repeat myself all of which i answered your reply within.

One thing must always be remembered the loudest ones are the whiners you never hear bout all the people that have had little to no issue thus far, such as myself and everyone in my guild, let alone how many other people as well, the squeaky wheel gets the oil and all that.

This kind of situation happens in the first 2 weeks of an MMO, and gasp its only been 14 days since the game "officially" launched...i will say that in comparison their customer service is bad however, both from experience from one major issue i had, again just one, to the things i have read. I was suspended from the game because being a guild leader i mailed everyone in the guild information, i understand why it happened, it was frustrating but I knew it would get fixed, it just didnt get fixed as fast as issues in SWTOR because their EA customer service is better...they have been at MMO games far longer than ZOS and have the experience to know that great customer service trumps even the biggest most annoying bugs, but in the end its the suits and their money that still matters because this is an entertainment business, emphasis on the business part. The suits will eventually realize how important customer service can be, just like EA did, and they will but they need time to figure that out since this is their first MMO, hell every single one of Zenimax Media's games have been buggy as hell, but they were single player and could be modded and patched by the player and the commmunity, they did not give as much support nor need to because of it, so they may just learn the hard way, who knows, who cares, lots of us are enjoying the game and playing and have no intention of quitting or moaning about a bug anytime soon.
