I lost a lot of respect for Force after his comments about Secret World as he has clearly not given the game much time at all. I sometimes check into some of his stuff but generally no, don't care.

Exactly, just because he said in his video that he "went all over stonefalls" trying to find it doesnt mean he did....and why would he, if not only does his "almanac" tell him exactly where he was last, but even in his video the place he goes to is on the other end of the map from where he had gotten the quest that he abandoned....if you are going to rant or whine about something because you chose to abandon a quest out of the total of 25 you can have and should never "need" to abandon one if thats all you are doing is questing, then at least use some common sense....

Its like standing in a dungeon and complaining you can't find a crafting center....

Except I stated in this thread that something happened similar to me when a quest bugged out and I had to drop it. The quest giver thought I was still on the quest. I googled and everything to make sure I was going to the right person.

And those other people are not whining, they are complaining reasonably so that zenimax can see this problem and change it. As force said, the process blocking problem he had was minor and he didn't think it was going to get fixed soon. Well if we make zenimax see this then it has a much bigger chance of getting fixed. And do you think it's weird that people that has been stuck for a week complains here on the forum and that they are angry? It's not at all and they have every right to be. They are paying for the game and this should have been fixed a long time ago. Even zos said once when announcing a new patch that most quests, if not all should have been fixed by now. Well, when there are progression blocking quests which is the most important ones to fix still left in the game which should have been fixed many, many beta test ago (and I say this as someone that's been in 5 beta tests) in a game that they are paying for I don't think it's weird that they are mad. You obviously have not had any of these problems and that's why you aren't complaining yourself...

Ha. Read the OP post again. Again, as others have stated, that's the price you pay for blazing the trail after 2 weeks from original release date. You want a perfect game? Don't play MMOs then. I don't get the rationale to get so upset this early from launch, in a highly anticipated blockbuster of a game, and predict the doom of a ESO because some "pro" drones on and on because his main quest is bugged. Cry. And please genius, can you explain how you can possibly be stuck for a WEEK (that's 7 days just so you know) when the game has only been out for 11 days, (16 counting prerelease, even though most of that last day the server was done for official release), from the OP date. Stop over exaggerating for this guy or anyone else.

My advice to you, not that you care, stop playing MMOs from launch then. Wait a couple months if you're that upset about the sub fee and then the game should be main quest bug free.

And as for your "whine about whine" comment, it's chicken or egg.

Can Only Agree... I am personally stuck in Malabal Tor, Restore the Silvenar, cannot complete the quest and thus cannot advance my leveling. I too did abandon the quest because I did not want a certain npc to die. Now I can't start up a Doalogue necessary to advance my game. I am very very angry about that, If this is not fixed in the next 14 days, ZOS wont see another penny from me and probably never ever as I will not be back till this bugfest of a game goes F2P.

but on a more serious note, I'm more concerned with how fast the game can lose its initial appeal as people discover that you can not play the way you want and be all you can be at the same time! One simple example Bow ranged DD!!

considering the other mmos, ESO is one of the most classless games (that does not focus on pvp). The problem is if people could have every skill on one character imagine the balancing issues? someone would find that combo that would make them god and everyone would complain. Not that they don't do that now, seems people just love to complain lol.

Awww, you missed some of his earlier vids he made, my two personal favorites were:

A "news" video he did, where he complains and complains about how the servers were down & how it's terrible, and how having the server down for more than a few hours points out major flaws in the server infrastructure or some such....Of course, he never mentions that the servers were down during scheduled maintenance times, maybe he just never checked what the scheduled times were & was unaware?

Only slightly better, was the one where he covered the dupe exploit...where in the video, he states that any game that has a dupe exploit fails and goes F2P, because the economy never recovers (unless they do a complete server reset...). Until that video, I never knew that WoW was F2P, but it is great how accurate his information is.

Oh, and I think he made both of them before your post, the first definitely was...I don't remember exactly when the 2nd one was posted, but I think that whole dupe exploit thing was before the OPs post.

I have never understood why gamers trust gaming "journalists"...they generally know less about any game that people who actually play it, they are almost always terrible players, and they complain about things that have nothing to do with the game in question (i.e. the great "gaming reviews" of mmo's that go on and on complaining about how they had to see other people in the game....)

there are bugs( many) but they work on it. none of these bugs are so hard that it completly destroys fun on game( yes, it´s still a game).
