No matter what Zeni does, and/or how they do it, there will always be people to complain about it...
3 months and 27 pages of rage post because of EU server in US. Thats fine as we have right to expect EU server to be in EU.
But now complaining when they actually moving it as promised ??? Im sure if i say what i think about above post, ill get perma banned so...Yea...

Ofc they were going to get complaints. Same as when they had the patching during eu prime time. If eu patching can take place earlier so can this, this is a cost cutting move imho. Nothing more nothing less.

You really cant understand that it require people to do it, and not just few but it is quite complex operation? If you think it would work better at 4 am with angry wake-up calls when something goes wrong, then i give up really.
Oh and dont forget to ask for 1 day of game time compensation because of it. I see what kind of player/person you are...Never happy but ''i want all now and i dont care about others at all'' one...
And finally, comparing patching to server migration process???? Really? Speaks volumes, nothing to add to it ;)

So its fine for the EU staff member to give up his evening with his family but not the us staffer to wake up at 4 am to get an eu server done....

And yes will be complaining when things aren't geared towards the eu player/eu times when it comes to eu servers. If it was a US server no issue with the times picked...

Since when has legitimate complaints embarrassed anyone...The server needs to be moved but it shouldn't be moved during eu prime time. The End...

The US engineers (who built the datacenter) will be available due to the downtime window; hence why it was chosen. So I'm cool with it.

You have no valid complaints what so ever, they are moving the server to the EU this is a complex operation, its not a click of the button of a flick of a switch it is a huge data transfer operation.

Then they need to test the data to make sure it isn't corrupted and that its all copied correctly, so that when you log on its all the same as when you last logged off.

On top of that like @Mortuum pointed out this requires staff to do, and you may think that its all in the Us favour but there will still have to be people up in the US as well as the EU to do this. Its also going to take full teams to do it not just 5 or 6 people.

I would agree with a days compensation if it takes longer than they state as it wasn't the players fault that the servers started in the US and its only fair to compensate if it takes LONGER than already stated.

Ofc its in the US favor. They need eu staff as well. The EU staffer is expected to give up his whole evening in order to get this done while the US staffer works his normal working day hours.

Again no complaint about that the servers needs to be moved and tested(well it should really have been in the eu from the start but that's another story). The complaint is moving it during eu prime time. This could have been done during the normal patching hours.

Agree, no ,matter who brings server or test it they should compensate that one day, or more

Legitimate complaints are fine .. this one is simply a child-like whine, ZOS explained the rationale which is perfectly sensible, adults will have no problem with it.

This is complex operations which will result with significant improvement in game performance. I personally dont care how long it will take as far they do it right.
