Overflow server ? Why ? We are all always supposed to be on the same server yes ? So why an overflow ?? Makes no sense. Neither does not having guilds .. banks .. mail .. friends lists .. all those things still exist ..
This stuff really MUST BE FIXED. Or was all the supposed stress testing we did just a sham ?? Getting really tired of this. Not to mention the missing codes from the boxed Imperial edition I purchased, that you still haven't addressed, despite the fact that it got reported on April 4 .. best advice your people give so far is "go get your retailer to fix it" ... for things INSIDE the box .. like that's their fault. FAR TOO MUCH WRONG TO BE PAYING FOR THIS. And I love the game ......
That's amazing. I've been at launch for WoW, LOTRO, STO, Rift, SWTOR, GW2,... just to name a few. I've never had 1) banked items deleted, 2) character progress (skill points, armor, mounts, etc.) irretrievably lost, 3) crafting progress lost (research)... again, just to name a few.miedeinb14_ESO wrote: »This is by far one of the best launches I've ever been part of.
You were there for WoW's launch and you're complaining about this one? That's amazing. I've been at launch for WoW, LOTRO, STO, Rift, SWTOR, GW2,... just to name a few. Is your only previous launch experience Final Fantasy 14? I avoided that one. Perhaps compared to that, this launch is smooth.

How about being stuck for three hours in a kneeling position while trying to loot an item? Or several hours of waiting queue? I've also seen some stuff deleted on WoW (although generally replaced, as far as I can remember). WoW was as bad as they come.
GTA had a reset after three weeks in. I'm not sure we should even talk about SWTOR, given that it's a cautionary tale in what we shouldn't do with MMOs. Wasn't there for the others.
This isn't good but it's nothing to be too alarmed about. If the issues persist in two weeks from now, then yes, I think it will justify removing a subscription.

1)When you log in and your guild + friend list have been wiped out, don't freak out. It means you are on some kind of overflow shard. You will be moved to one of the official (and somewhat working) shards as places open up. If you want to force your way on an official shard, just group up with someone who's on one and teleport to them.
2)We have official megaservers and, within them, official shards.
3)Several social features have been lagging for the past three days. Those include guild chats, guild stores, guild banks and whispers. They may also include expansions to your bank space. If you were going to buy bank space, I'd put that on hold and wait until this issue has been fixed.
4)There has also been long loading times. Yesterday was the worst for that, today was better, but by no means acceptable. If you haven't loaded in five minutes, just relaunch the game. It's likely not going to load otherwise. Most loading times seem to be anywhere between 30 seconds and two minutes, though.
5)Group chat, says and zone chats all work perfectly. Strange but hey, at least we can communicate.
I can't believe ESO has put up no official statement about this issue. It's been plaguing the server(s?) for three whole days.
