That explains why I didn't notice a fragment in my inventory. I'll have to check my collections as soon as I log back in.

When you take a break from the game, you tend to not bother with game news. So returning to see the fragments in the game and I know another event will follow...any reasonable person would assume they can finish fragmentation. Well not with this stupid system. The response to have to follow up with off the game news on top of being an active player destroys the argument of taking a break if you're frustrated with the game. If I was active this year, this wouldn't have been an issue. I get punished for not being active while taking a break.

Oh, wait-- the Jubilee mount is not new, is it? It's the same one as last year. I've already acquired it, so either I'm no longer getting fragments for it, or they just evaporate when they go into my collections.

By that same line of logic.. If you're already aware that it would obviously take multiple events to complete, then it stands to reason you'd know to look into how far into the availability cycle you're in and whether completing it is a viable option.
Because the game isn't going to stop moving along while you're on hiatus. It's not like the game will pause progression until you come back.

What were they supposed to do, put everything on hold until you decided to return?

Frustrating to see they’re punishing loyal players who collected the horse fragments last year by removing them from the golden reward box without adding any compensation.

Also, perhaps, remove the necessity of a base stuff to be merged with (e.g. Vanity Pets). This not only doesn't make much logical sense — how a Pet becomes a house, a costume, etc.? — but makes it hard to keep track and/or acquire everything needed to get one big thing without sacrificing some other, newer thing, if you happen to be late to the party.
See, I returned from a health-related 5y break one year after Grand Psijic Villa was given to player base (or so I heard). Because of this hiatus, even though I bought some tickets since then, not only I missed a few year-exclusives, but I'm STILL pursuing the Indriks collection!

When you take a break for months, you don't care. You come back to an event and see the fragments, okay great. You see another event start the next day and anyone would think it would extend since it cost 50 tickets.
But continue to defend this terrible practice.

Huh? The same horse from last year is back this year. And the same fragments are dropping. As well you can buy them for 3 tickets a piece.

Yes I have the horse from last year so I don’t get fragments I can share with others or some other reward. I get nothing.
Indeed, Indriks do make sense, but everything else comes straight outta “Dude, where's my car?”Spacefish2323 wrote: »Totally agree with this except in the case of the Indriks where the baby one grows into the adult versions, that makes sense. Otherwise its just an absurb and confusing convolution to obscure the grind. Just make the items costs more tickets.

they aren't dropping at all if you have the horse already. so there's some lost gold there that could have been made from selling the fragments. but i'm fairly certain the prices would drop pretty quick with how many ppl already have it and would not need the 20 fragments. it's a lot to flood the market with (however it's fun to save up things like that in the guild bank to give to new players). or maybe the drop rate takes a nose dive if you already have it and is not the same one-per-day that it was if you didn't?
