    I swear this is getting annoying now. Been waiting for some type of real response from this company and all I keep getting is surveys. I mean I have never heard of a company who seem like they are trying to run players away from a game they create by making stupid decision on how to handle CC. I went to my email and just had to laugh really hard it is so sad." Here take this survey and tell us what you think of what help we provided for you". Its like going to a doctor to only be told that the doctor is not in and they would like for you to give him a positive review on the work he has done for you. Ha ha...so sad it is just plain funny.

    76 Pages of fail and no response and we are the ones being inconvenient.. I can not rationally think about how they logically came up with this idea.

    Next thing we know this thread disappears so that they can hide there failure.

    Having the same issue as everyone else. Had to select a sub option, and now 3 months of game time has been taken out of my account, over drawing it and costing me extra bank fees. Thanks. Not impressed.

    i am in a similar boat...tried entering my info, it then said that my address was wrong...ok so i will fix it(maybe i left out lane or something )

    i try again and get the same message. I then re entered everything thinking maybe my browser is not registering everything since it autofilled my name.

    this time it said the transaction was declined, And after looking up my account info to see my transaction history they have 3 separate charges or holds of 15.00 . so my whole caving and using a pre paid card bit me in the ass. Hell i was even going to upgrade to imperial edition...but i cant now because of this damn mess. Ugh.

    You know I want this to go to all you people who are defending things like this and it kind of makes me angry that something like this can happen and at the same time to see a company that cannot admit its faults.

    So I am on the phone talking to a rep from this company and trying to explain why this whole charging in the beginning as soon as the game comes out does not make one bit of sense. This in fact means: no matter how long they keep a person money on hold it could be 1 min to 1 hour or 29 days none of this matter being that this is a FREE MONTH. The whole time I can feel how upset this dude was I was speaking with because he was stuck with no solution until he got word from someone higher than him.
    The sad thing about this is the fact that he was about to hang up on me and that in itself made me mad so I kind of went off on him since I am the one who purchased $99 copy of this game and I didn't understand the "hold your money until we validate part of this". Even after the fact he talked to someone who was in charge it was never answered on why this was happening to players.

    Lets put it this way: by the time that I got off the phone with him he told me he would call me back within an hour just to see what he could do to help the situation. Well an hour later he called me back and told me he would send me a message to my email informing me that he would use my codes to by pass the "validation process". Now lets get something straight, this is not anything illegal he did nor was this something that was behind his boss's back or anything actually it is the other way around. This is in fact the same statement that is made at the beginning of this thread:

    We want everyone who purchased ESO to have immediate access to the included 30 days of ESO game time. In the event that you enter your payment information for authorization and the transaction cancels due to lack of funds in your account, please contact our Support Team. We’ll work with you to ensure you have access to your included 30 days of game time.

    Please ensure that you have attempted to enter payment information and had the transaction fail due to lack of funds before submitting a help request. We will get you into the game and playing as soon as possible.

    The problem I have with this is that THIS IS EXACTLY what should happen in the first place. There should never have been nor should there be a "VALIDATION OR AUTHORIZATION OF ANY CARDS AT THIS TIME". The time to do this would be next month. To me this is just a prime example of a company biting off more than it can chew. We all know at the beginning of any launch regardless how smooth it goes there are issues. So why I ask did this company decide to add another problem to their table by doing this as soon as the game launch?

    Anyways I sent my information in and he got me passed all that crap and now I am in the game. Kind of sad that I am now only thinking of playing just for the 30 days now and then quit but before I got hit with all of this I was planning on my first sub to be 6 months. I guess I will just enjoy the rest because something very exciting has to happen to get me to stick around after all this mess.

    Well my bank say - "money stop" end 11.4.2014, well see if this is true, if yes, ok i chill out. Still somehow p***, most other MMO charge/"money stop" max few buck to check out or no try this at all - and only for day or two. Ah and hope to fix all that bug from bank ones to patch bug too. >:)

    Well This is bull s*$! I tried to enter my code but it is asking me for credit-card, and payment information and what if I don't have a credit card or a bank account now I can't even play the frigging game till my next pay-day in two weeks because now I have to run to the store and buy a stupid frigging time code just to pay for the game payment.

    No other MMO has required me to enter valid payment information for a trial, or after buying the game it allows me just to use the key and pay later or cancel my subscription.

    Thank You very much for me spending like $70 + Dollars to buy your game, and Thanks for having all these bugged quests which I could not even complete during the head-start phase of the game, and Thank You for the memory leak that comes with the game, not trolling serious.

    Well when ZeniMax still run this way, the German office of fair Trading, Verbraucherzentrale, will have a easy way to shut them out of Europe as whole. And maybe they have to refund all European gamer's. That only the future and court will tell. Also every Country in Europe part of the European Union has similiar Office's of Fair Trading, and we also have the European Court and some European Customer Agency's so in the End, ZeniMax its best now to bow down, apologize, and payback.

    Exactly right. Europe tends to protect consumer while America safeguards the corporations. Makes me wish I was back in Europe, lol.

    The news of the tragedy and ridicule that ZeniMax has become is widespread by now. A lot of game-related sites/magazines have already exposed their fiasco. it's too late for them to hide. Too bad they are continuing to act stupid. Instead of rectifying their mistakes, they are now pissing off people whom are already playing. Instead of focusing on getting more people in the game (we are potential revenue), fixing bugs and being actually intelligent about bans, they just keep the failboat roller-coaster to hell going and going. Just waiting for it to derail at this point so they can crash and burn. Maybe that will be a wake up call. Otherwise I am adding ZeniMax to a list of companies to be avoided (just like EA). To be so insecure and profit oriented as to abandon the ones that are your profit is just illogical.

    Well I am going back to Dark-Fall Online, I have to agree I currently have two accounts paid for over there for both half a year subscriptions and I run two clients max graphics on my computer 8 hours straight no crash no memory leak.

    I really wanted to give ESO a chance only because some of my friends did but after seeing what I did in head start, and still being unable to play because I have to wait 2 weeks for my next billing payment its really disturbing to me.

    Please fix this.

    Getting really annoyed at this point. I did the "pre-authorization". I knew that they were going to take the money out, even though they state your card will not be charged. (It is) Umm, exactly how long Zenimax do you plan on holding my money? You have had it tied up since the 4th now. How about you go and cancel it already.

    I am having to wait until April 29th to play the game because I have no trust in the security of this website and there has been a complete and utter failure when it comes to reassuring customers or even talking to them about issues.. Not to mention a complete and utter failure in making the game time cards available to everyone when they were originally released.. Hence the wait until the 29th..

    Better security is needed here.. Better communication.. Better customer service over all..

    There is absolutely no need to require a subscription to use the 30 days that came with the game.. You gave us 30 days free, then let us use it..

    Looks like the charge will be returned at 29.4, in my case atleast, unless Zenimax actively cancels it. Thanks for the "free" month, Zenimax.

    I have used a credit card or debit card in plenty of game sites during the years. This is first time someone takes my cash hostage, other companies have managed to verify my card without this kind of mess.

    Well. Looks like there's many. I too found out that the money was taken from my bank and never returned. We got robbed? I guess we'll find out by the time the 30 day 'free time' is up and see if our accounts took another hit.

    Thus far this is only one of the issues they are yet to address. They haven't made any comments about a lot of problems. It feels like they took on too much and can't handle it no more. They are not making any statements because they have no idea how to solve any of the problems. Maybe they are still trying to prioritize as to what to focus on first? Well, I am hoping they are at least doing something.

    I got my money back from my Imperial Edition...I used it to buy into the Life is Feudal Alpha. If you play DarkFall you should check out LiF.

    My ticket was finally resolved. My guild got fed up with most of us being unable to play and two others getting banned. Each of us sent a response to a prior ticket, demanding to have a serious conversation with someone, as opposed to copy/paste messages, and stated that we will return our copies of the game/take legal matters to receive refunds for used codes, and that we will turn away from ZeniMax products altogether. It was not an empty threat, so I am glad I had a person get back to me two hours later. He skipped all the "in-character" blather and got straight to the point. He asked for my game code and secret answer to a question (no other information was asked). Now, five hours later, I have received a code to be used as subscription code and was granted 30 days of game play on my account. I am yest to hear from my friends, and I am hoping they will get their tickets sorted out and their money back by Sunday as well.

    Anyway, I hope this helps as there is hope yet... maybe it will grow. Good luck.

    I wonder how the debit transactions will go as the 5th day is here (that was the limit on debit hold, wasn't it?)

    I bought the game online in esoshop then at payment with paysafecard i had to take a month subsciption or else i could not pay the bill. So this is not for checking if my card works i dont have one i pay with an paysafecard........ so i had to get one extra for me to be able to pay a 92 euros for something i dont like maybe in a week or 2 but i paid 60 days...... so 30 days extra its a rippoff because im not fond of the way that i only can use 5 abb at an time and many things are still bugged so maybe i come back after an update or two but they make me pay an extra month

    I have started asking for the head of billing now i cant access the game and now i have to watch my banks account to make sure that they dont charge for a game they will not let me play

    Well, you didnt play, but if you agreed with the ToS and activated a sub plan, they can legitimately charge you for the next month. You know that already...

    I've been following this thread since page 68.

    I am truly saddened and disheartened by this whole thing. I know for a lot of people that withholding funds prematurely has screwed them and their monthly budgets over big time. That is not my issue personally, but I do empathize with those of you who are dealing with this.

    In my particular situation, it's doubly disheartening because I wanted to play this game. I had every intention of setting up a subscription and continuing after my 30 days (they are not "free" 30 days. I paid for them). I don't have a credit card, so I was going to do it via game cards. If I could wander on down to a local retailer and purchase a game card, I would happily scratch that little guy off, enter my code, pay for my 60 days and I could be halfway through the 30 days that came with my purchase of the game by now. But that isn't possible.

    For those of you who can't read or choose to skip over most of these posts and label them as "whining" or "idle complaints", let me spell this out very, very clearly for you, since it's been said multiple times by many different people:

    Game.

    Cards.

    Do.

    Not.

    Exist.


    What this means, for those of you who are saying "So?": It means that anyone who does not have, for whatever reason, a credit card or any other means of online payment cannot access the 30 days they paid for nor can they pay for a subscription.

    It means I can't play. Ever. It means I paid for a game that I will probably remove from my hard drive once I can stomach it and I will never be able to play it again. Even though I have 30 days of time that I paid for when I purchased the game. Those days are lost. They are gone forever. Because I can't purchase a game card so I can set up a subscription so I can play this game.

    I'm not even going to bother trying to get a refund. I don't have the heart for that lengthy battle and I just .. I'm done. So congratulations, Zenimax. You have successfully taken my money for a service that you are unwilling to deliver. Go have lunch on me, then. You earned it, I guess.

    On one hand, it makes me happy to hear that reps are getting things fixed for people. ("Under an hour", "in just 40 minutes, etc. etc.)

    On the other hand, it's Thursday. Haven't been able to play since Early Access ended and I'm still waiting. FML

    Same boat, made a call back request 3 days ago nothing, have sent 3 emails to customer support, finally got one yesterday saying "We are looking into it"

    Not played since early access, at the point where I dont want to anymore.
    Very dissapointed.

    Well, good news - my money's finally back. Apparently authorization checks take FIVE DAYS now. Wasn't quite aware of that. And I even got a human response from CS before that. Still sad I didn't get said response 4 days ago tho, or even better, get my money back then.
    Guess I actually got lucky, with all those horror stories about not being able to play at all=P

    Still not particularly happy about the whole thing, but guess will wait and see(and hope it starts going...smoother in the future). Love the game, anyway, can't just leave it^^

    I realize most of you guys have gotten charged a sub fee before your 30 days is up. But why did I get charged the price of the game twice? I have 2 charges for $65.84 on my bank account. Is this some kind of authorization as well??? I didn't receive any subscription fees, just a double purchase fee...
