    I just want to play the damn game! Havent been playing since early access thanks to this stupid billing system! Got myself the imperial Edition to. I dont have a credit card but i have a paypal account but you need a card for that to which sucks! So the only way is game time cards, but guess what, they arent in the store yet!

    I was in a similar situation. Word of advice - before you take this up with customer support read my topic on this board (here). You just might find yourself with the game removed from your account.

    What they still didnt fix this? I had to buy a prepaid card for 5 bux to get my 30 days. I should get an extra week and 3 days for that.

    I'm sorry for everyone that still can't get their first paid 30 days. I had that problem only 2 days and i already wanted to get a refund as that problem tainted the game for me.

    I'm not even angry anymore. Just tired of this. The sub failed to take, but charged my account anyway so now I have to wait for the money to get sent back to even be allowed to try to sub again. All support did was tell me to make sure I had enough money in my account before subbing...

    They can keep the bloody money for all I care I just want to play the game.

    Same here made tickets about it but alll i get is a roleplaying answer telling me something about the forces of evil sometimes take longer to defeat....but that the pre-auth should go away after a short period of time....

    I sent a reply this morning to them asking once again how long this was going to take as i see 5 days as not being a temporary thing.
    Also asked if i could cancel my reacurring sub without loosing my 25 days gametime left ( dont wana take chanses with this company anymore )

    it said if a credit card was used for the subscription, i wouldnt be billed immediately, but i was, and not even 12.99 like it said, just the full 6 months there and now it says ill be billed again in a month, wtf?

    Well Gina, if you wanna build a long lasting relationship with costumers, that is, if you guys want people to keep paying, then you guys might starting being a little less shady and more sincere. And with this I mainly refer to the fact that to play the 30 days we paid for, we have to pay at least another month, as per ToS. And we both know you perfectly know what I mean.

    Nobody blames you guys for the bugs or the problems with the cloud infrastructure. We understand that it happens and that you guys work hard to fix it.

    Just don't fool us.

    I got a simple solution and fix for Zenimax it sounds like a great idea.

    You know how on World OF Warcraft all you have to do is buy the game at the store make an account put the key into a redeem key box and there you got 30 days download and play, of course this is before they changed it to 10 day free trial and such and I have 5 wow accounts btw but no longer play wow quit years ago.

    Why don't you just do the same thing that they did and put a redeem key on your the website, don't require players enter any credit-card information and in 30 days if they want to keep subscribed they can pay for a subscription of what they choose to same thing that they did how it should have been to begin with?

    Like Imagine what would have happened if I used PayPal to put the transaction through and they billed $14.95 to my Bank Account, I use a prepaid debit card, and when PayPal charges my account they charge it as a check therefore I would have owned over $100 USD for $14.95 that Zenimax Charged, I am lucky I didn't do this because I only deposit the money I use to buy things online with into the prepaid account because I don't trust banking too many hackers but that is beyond the point.

    So I am guessing I have to file a support ticket or wait about 10 more days or so before I can play again I have never experienced a MMO Launch like this before.

    Well, you didnt play, but if you agreed with the ToS and activated a sub plan, they can legitimately charge you for the next month. You know that already...

    I got a refund like 4.8 I think, for the cost of game, and never once was I asked for any information whatsoever. Email chain for ticket DID match account email, and it has my IRL name attached to it.

    EDIT: Oh, yeah, sorry wanna add it worked for me, glad not to have to go through that step and they did it right.

    You don't have to pay for another month, though. Whether you cancel after setting up the sub or not the auth will still fall off of your card/bank account and you have the 30 days without paying for another month.

    Terms of service clearly state, when you cancel, you will still be billed for any renewal that occurs within 30 days. So, unless you activate and cancel on the same day....

    Well, I love how I tried 9 times to get my billing address to validate and it kept saying it was invalid. But I checked with the bank today to make sure I was entering it in correctly, and I was. They also let me know today that ESO took $134.91 from my account. With out any confirmation or approval. I got robbed by ESO. 4 days no contact form ESO support since I submitted my original ticket. I got robbed hard.

    That's actually very likely because you kept submitting a subscription choice. Every single one of my online vendor purchases(which only amount to refilling the bus pass and purchasing more time for my pay as you go phone) say to ONLY CLICK SUBMIT ONCE.
    What probably happened is instead of you going through the entire process once, clicking submit, then contacting customer support and having THEM validate the address....you went through the entire process again...and clicked submit again. Then did it all again...and again...and you get the picture by now, right? You basically told them to charge you nine different times.

    Now this might be wrong, but it's just an educated guess on my part.
    I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
    Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

    I used my paypal debit card and my account still shows pending for $14.99 and it has been that way since the 7th of April.

    Thanks for essentially holding money from my own account for a stinking authorization, I really do appreciate it. You could have at least did an authorization of a $1 or $2 like most places have done to me in this sort of situation, not the entire cost of a month. You haven't lost a paying customer, but I figure if this persists for another week or so I am done altogether.
