    I wish I could even PAY with those alternate methods from Canada, since pre-paid VISA isn't good enough!

    If your pre-paid visa isn't working you should try contacting support about it, since afaik they said pre-paid visas would work (unless it's a canada thing.)

    Indeed, it's not. But what month am I being billed for then? The upcoming month (i.e. my included 30 days) or the month thereafter?     Well, what you see as "forced" I see more as you not having a valid payment method to supply a recurring payment (thus having to buy gametime directly.)

    The month you're buying will add on to your free month, so you'd have 2 months in total. If you'd want it authorized before, and wait with buying the month you should try using a parent or guardians CC for the authorization(with their knowledge and consent), cancel the subscription, and once the time is up decide if you want to buy game-time with your iDeal.

    Also, the game now tells me my login details are incorrect. I imagine this is because I didn't activate. Then when i try and get onto the account page of this blasted website, i'm in the queue (fair enough)... look below the queue and it says "The queue is paused" ....

    This is quickly getting on my nerves.

    Not at all. I mean the "Account" page. To actually see all my account details. Support is up and running fine.

    Like some I make I make really good money and can afford the nicer things in life and won't even notice the transaction but no MMMO at launch does this, its funny how ZOS is silent now but once MMORPG, Reddit and other sites get going about this and its egg on there face I'm betting they'll change there practice real soon, its the about the principle of the matter. People paid for the game, let them have there free game time and get addicted to the ESO crack before you make them do a sub plan, apparently they need to stop listening to the bean counters and listen to there advertising people about how to get people coming back for more and more.

    Yep, but in regard to iDeal, that would be the only option to use that payment method because they don't support recurring payments. However I agree with you that the authorization should've been simpler and more refined. I understand your frustration, but as I said, check with parents, guardians or maybe a good friend and see if they can help you.

    mine said paused but it just changed to you will be able to log in approximatley 15 mins

    Well, you do that every day in the grocery store, don't you? :smile: But yes, things aren't really running as smooth now it seems. Never seen that queue before.

    Since as of now I can't login to access the game time I already paid for I will not do a single thing to resolve this on my end, as it should be their duty. I will most definitely not be subscribing unless they fix this clusterfk. It's the principle of the thing.

    So... "subscription required in order to play" eh? I am just guessing that you can play your already paid days after you've cancelled the subscription, so why didn't we all just get cancelled subscriptions from the start?

    I assumed that the subscription required did not mean the days that I have already paid for. It feels like I've added a game time card but still have to set up a subscription with the credit card. :(

    Zenimax Runs bethesda. you know, the people that made the Elder scrolls games and the fallout games, among others?

    while i really dont agree with Zenimax on this (even though this issue doesnt affect me really) i would rather at worst, ESO dies an early death than Zenimax itself shutting down, thus...barring any more Elder scrolls, fallout or any other great (if buggy as hell) games from Bethesda.

    Because they might be able to help you with a valid payment method. The authorization is probably there because of legal reasons (in regard to the physical copies especially.) However I agree that it shouldn't be for the full amount, since a normal CC verification should suffice.

    That's a quote from their wonderful billing page. Since I'm using IE code, it says that purchase is for 0.00 plus , obviously, I shall get 30 days with it thus no CC charge at all. Or 0.1-1.00 as a check (usual, no complains about it) Where the f. is any info about "We'll lock full sub price on your card & tell you to f off if there isn't enough"? Imagine I wanted 2x3 months, I have 2 accounts. Now I can't play cause I don't have like $90 free money on card after I already paid $160 for the f game? :D
