Anybody in here discrediting Nefas or saying they couldn't care less that he is leaving should take the time to watch his video. The behaviors exhibited by zenimax towards him are nothing short of despicable, extremely unprofessional, and they are very telling of what this company thinks of it's community as a whole, not just it's content creators.

unfortunately, like with the thread about the BG live stream, i have a feeling this will get turned into nefas being the bad guy, and leaking information, and being to harsh, and blah blah blah. At least internally at zos. Maybe in a post in this thread, although i doubt it. idk why they find it so hard to look inward and admit they are wrong, or made mistakes.

he'll be back

He has been bashing the game for almost 6 months now while pumping a plethora of other games many which have failed or play like garbage... Remember almost every streamer has an agenda and when the agenda stops fitting the purpose of the stream, they never quietly go away they turn negative to still get clicks so others check in on other crap content.
ESO is a great game and has yet to be slayed by all the negatively being paid out to promo streamers who take handouts to pump other content. The true streamers are the ones who quietly move on professionally to other opportunities in streaming without turning into true bashers.
This doomposting over the last month is getting annoying now.
If he's done with the game, then let him be done with it. No need to draw any additional attention to it and let the rest of us enjoy ESO.

If he were truly done, he would have made it brief and to the point. But instead he posted a 40+ minute video that IMO is little more than a cry for attention.

Cry for attention? He got treated horribly and showed proof lol smh

Yes; very eye opening that he broke the rules and was told off for it.

That's not what I saw. What I saw was someone being smug and entitled disguised behind a facade of innocence. He knew he was doing exactly what he was asked not to do, pretended he wasn't aware ahead of time, demonstrated a complete lack of respect when reminded, and acted petulant afterwards.

I think you are ignoring the part where pretty much every veteran player (PvE or PvP) are upset at the direction the game is heading. Content creators are just veteran players with a platform. Just because someone makes content about a game that doesn't mean they have to agree with the decisions the devs are making.
Spending thousands of hours and a lot of money for a game you are passionate about, and then seeing the game heading into a worse direction patch by patch while the devs act as if nothing is happening is infuriating. These content creators just say out loud what a large part of the community is thinking, because the devs are clearly not getting the message otherwise.
If you are happy about the current state of the game, good for you, but don't be upset about others disagreeing with your vision.

You know people aren't just doomposting because they feel like it, right? Players are legitimately concerned about the direction the game is heading and are being vocal about it.

Why would anyone expect ZOS to treat Nefas well when 80% of his content is bashing/complaining? Good riddance.
Not sure it's a valuable input if you're not aware of his content in any capacity. And content is not just YouTube, it's the whole community building from the ground up, all the possible tools etc.
You can have your personal feelings sure but be real. His impact was huge if you've been around for some time at least.
Most of the impact I've seen is Nefas stirring the community into one rage after another over his own pet annoyances that he likes to blow way out of proportion relative to their actual effect on the average player.
