Azureblight nerf needed

    Azureblight is VERY popular on PvP now (it has been popular in PvE for a while).

    The set is OP for sure, there is no question about it. It is very easy to get multiple pops even with a very small group and then its almost insta kill.

    I have to say that is a fun set though and I have been using too.

    Many players using the set together still feels like an exploit imo.

    Here is a solution. Nerf groups. Don't allow players to group in Cyrodiil. Then you will naturally be further apart. Nerf complete.
    Making a game fun should be a priority. Making a game balanced should not come at the expense of fun.

    Good idea! Have a 6mil health troll guard the keeps to require players to parse also.

    They do! They're also pretty good at communicating. "To the side!" "I need healing!" The mages are on point with their Negates. I'll give them that.

    As countless others have pointed out, this isn't a ballgroup thing. Azureblight is the best set against any group size larger than 3. That's the problem. Yes, there should be sets good against ballgroups, but Azureblight's scaling should be changed so that it isn't literally the best option for any PvP outside of Duels.

    Does literal nothing to a mobile 4 person. Yeah it dunks on groups that do nothing but stack and eat dps to the face, exactly as it should, the more game mechanics that punish braindead face tank attempts, the better.

    You do realize if you are a group of four fighting a group of 4 that you are forced to stay together right?

    Any 4man that fights a group that immediately splits up will just focus down one person at a time.

    It's all I see in BGs and I would love for the base amount or early scaling to get reduced so I can play against other sets in higher MMR. It does too much damage.

    What is wrong with beeing Solo?
    Not everyone has an always available group.
    You do not start the game in a group, do usually not login as part of a group, not always find a group (getting no response to lfg) and ESO still wants to keep you as part of his daily active playerbase and do PvP Endeavours/Events.

    Ballgroups are not only hated by soloplayers but also PuGs, zergguilds, smallscales and actually almost everyone not in a ballgroup.

    Personally I don't think ZOS is 'listening' to ball groups over other players (at least historically this definitely wasn't true as they did the complete opposite of what a couple of us told them in a few situations).

    I think it's the case that they likely have some auto logging which is comparing sets vs damage output. I would imagine this is likely a change in response to PVE rather than PVP and coming up to the next chapter where some 'new BIS' is needed to sell it.

    Also most of the changes made to pvp sets recently have been direct results of 'stream team' input. e.g. Elf bane, Heavy attack nerf etc.

When you have 4, 8 or 12 man groups spamming acid spray at your group and constantly spamming dots ticking the burst practically every second (because the stacking mechanic is just not even a thing at the point).     I will end it with saying that; yes this set IS broken and most certainly abused. Is it a counter to ball groups? Yes sure it is. Does that make this ok and balanced? No it does not, it allows for people to turn their brains off and spam acid spray on groups. They are rewarded for basically doing nothing. The cross stacking is absolutely disgusting, and should not even be a thing on this set, thats poor balance and having something like that you cannot even counter is just not ok. This set is far worse then when Plaguebreak was introduced imo.

    SPREAD OUT !!!!!!! That is how you counter it!!! I think ball group are absurd and just stupid super stale play ... PULL BOMB PULL BOMB PULL BOMB thats what you do all night!! A good ball group has no counter in the game not even a faction stack!

    The reasons for this set being nerfed are the exact same reasons Vicious Death and Plaguebreak should be nerfed. I don't see a reason to nerf the one without nerfing the others. When your in a 12 man group the proc sets for all these are easy to attain. I'd say don't nerf the set unless you also nerf the others.
