Yeah I was going to say that procs as usual has enabled some really broken builds and it is exhausting to play against them. I already feel PvP fatigue. The excitement is also not what it used to be for me. I just feel like the game has gone in a direction that I can continue on, enabling the most skillLESS gameplay. I'm swimming against the current and I feel tired.

You don't need a PvP build all you need is some hot oils and ballistas

I run a Hot Oil training academy in Cormount, all AD are encouraged to attend, all DC and EP are due in court for treachery against the Queen

I saved your queen's life, even though she isn't my queen. I don't look that special.

Oh, and the people who were trying to kill her were from AD-- not from DC or EP.

I have been loving this event more than usual. In the past I would do scouting missions and town quests. Then I got into doing resource missions and town quests. This time it's resources, sieging, and defending. I die a lot, but I'm having a lot of fun!

I was actually enjoying MYM, until some jerk players in my own alliance - some in my own guild - started working to discourage and deny other fellow alliance and guild members the opportunity or ability to push for the emperor achievement, even in the event servers, which leadership held out to be an emp-train. To see my own alliance and some of my own guildmates participate in those activities (I won't get specific with what went on) and do that to fellow guildmates has really put me off of pvp completely, and I will be a minimal participant from here on forward.

This, though, has an easy resolution: reset the event servers on a daily or bi-daily basis, or offer a much larger number of event servers than what is currently offered so that you can always find a servers that aren't dominated by a few jerks just looking to ruin people's play (if Warframe, - a free game, can offer multiple/infinite instances for some large group areas, then ESO can offer at least a couple hundred event servers).

Don't worry about the emp. Just forget it exists. You don't need the stupid achievement, and you don't need the emp buffs to have fun.

The emp is bad for your physical and mental health and destroyed many friendships and pvp guilds.

Most people can't handle the pressure. Almost every emp i have seen in this game was at least very close to a nervous breakdown or manic episode. Many had to quit playing.

ESO is a game. But the emp title is very addictive and dangerous for some people.

And it leads to cheating (ap boosting etc.), account sharing and other unwanted behavior in the game.

I am not sure if there is a fix, other than just getting rid of the whole concept.

I think there is no excuse for the bugged tel var drops and also no excuse for no recognition on the part of ZOS for the bugged tel var drops.

Otherwise, the first day of the event launch was a disaster. It's improved some, but disconnects are still a huge problem for the majority of the player base. ZOS needs to focus more on server support for their game as well as focus far more on respecting their customers with timely and helpful customer support.

This time I'm liking it more than ever for some reason. I've had some thrilling action in both Cyrodiil and Imperial City. Especially today in Imperial City, where I got quite few kills in and captured a district with fellow alliance players. And I almost killed a nightblade who ambushed me in Cyrodiil, even though he had the advantage from the start. It almost felt like I could play PvP! Of course, I've died quite few times during the event, but that's to be expected. Also, I had an awesome Chaos Ball match in Battlegrounds today, where our team won it handily due to great tactical teamwork and my healing (if I may to toot my own horn).

Lastly, I got both the Star-Made Knight and Cyrodiil Angler achievements done today. No wonder it's been a blast so far. I can't wait for the weekend when I can get some serious playtime. Hmm, maybe I should even try to try to make some dedicated PvP gear instead of the general purpose soloing gear I'm running with?

I can tell from the tone that your options are meant to be fun, but still feel obligated to clarify that while I love this event, it isn't because I see it as an easy way to farm from newbs. :)

I like it because it breathes some life into IC, it gives me an extra reason to do my Tier 1 for transmutes, and I am a big fan of activities that give me more "bang for my buck," and it shakes up my year such that I spend more time in Cyro and IC during the event than I typically do during other times.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

I like it, it's really the only time I pvp because IC usually is dead and insufferable due to the amount of NPC enemies otherwise. Cyrodiil is bad this event though. Grayhost PCNA is unplayable. Always rubberbanding, getting 999+ ping, and DCing at the most inconvenient opportunity. It wasn't like this in february this year, and certainly not last year. Blackreach on the other hand barely has these issues despite also being pop locked with long queues.

Cyrodiil has the potential to be the most fun PvP experience there is, and is the only game activity I really care about.

Performance (for me) on PC/EU has been pretty good so far, but I did wait to log in until the stream of forum complaints about disconnects had died down on the second day of the event. Latency has been a stable 120-150ms, and no disconnects yet. My fps will drop from high 90s to low 20s when I'm near 2 full faction stacks or one ballgroup, but at least it's more than the 0 fps I get watching the loading screen after being booted from the server.

Pop caps are still ridiculously low, but it feels like they have secretly gone up a little bit between the previous mym and this one. Previous felt more like 40/faction while now feels more like 60 (but I could obviously be wrong on those numbers). I won't say this makes things better because that would imply they were good to begin with, but at least it's less bad.

I started the event ready to be disappointed, so far I've mostly been underwhelmed and had a couple of fun fights, so that's something I guess. :)

Its not having the title that bothers me, its that people that you used your game time to help get theirs now turn around and act to deny that same thing to others. Fellow blues, guildmates, etc. Something about that really just does not sit right with me. Especially since I play in a guild that doesn't allow for cross-alliance play.

I don't do PVP. At all. Yet, I appreciate ESO offers room for everyone! And I do also take benefit from this event by doing the dailies. I've been doing one IC and one Cyrodiil daily every day and I didn't have to bother with other players so far.

One thing I'll say about PvP in general is that a lot of players take it really, really personally-- to a potentially unhealthy degree, in some cases. It's a game, so you should be playing it to have fun. If you kill me, there's no need to be a jerk about it. And if I kill you, there's no need to get nasty about it. We should all be able to congratulate each other for playing well, regardless of who won and who lost. You kill me, then (if I'm lucky) I kill you, and we rinse and repeat.

    Good luck with that....

Now that the event is winding down, it's the same as any other event to me, I do what I gotta do and then participate or not participate. This year I finished all my characters' Alliance War Skill line to 10 so that's out of my system.

I'm just using the last few days to T1+ my alts so I'll have another grip of transmute for me in September. So all in all, it was a fine event, dropped connection a few times, touched grass a few times, made a little love, got down tonight.

I am not a pvp player, but I don't mind it. Easy tickets. I normally farm town quests once or twice on weekends, but there is nothing great in the boxes. Fun, relaxed, low pressure.

Edit. I hated it my first time. I went to IC, and I didn't know about the quests, or really anything. I kept entering the tunnels and getting slaughtered. The other faction was stealthed and waiting. And, I didn't know how to leave IC (this was years ago and I was new).

If you are new to pvp and having a hard time, it sucks. But, once you get the hang of it, you might not love it, but it is OK.

I'm going to enjoy the two weeks between the end of the event and U43 to recharge my ESO gaming battery to get me ready for whatever new content is coming for me to delve/farm into. Knocking out the monthly T1s is gonna be real nice this weekend.
