I usually like the event, but I particularly dislike the current PvP meta, so I will skip PvP for a couple more patches.

I run a Hot Oil training academy in Cormount, all AD are encouraged to attend, all DC and EP are due in court for treachery against the Queen

To see my own alliance and some of my own guildmates participate in those activities (I won't get specific with what went on) and do that to fellow guildmates has really put me off of pvp completely, and I will be a minimal participant from here on forward.
This, though, has an easy resolution: reset the event servers on a daily or bi-daily basis, or offer a much larger number of event servers than what is currently offered so that you can always find a servers that aren't dominated by a few jerks just looking to ruin people's play (if Warframe, - a free game, can offer multiple/infinite instances for some large group areas, then ESO can offer at least a couple hundred event servers).

Don't worry about the emp. Just forget it exists. You don't need the stupid achievement, and you don't need the emp buffs to have fun.
The emp is bad for your physical and mental health and destroyed many friendships and pvp guilds.
Most people can't handle the pressure. Almost every emp i have seen in this game was at least very close to a nervous breakdown or manic episode. Many had to quit playing.
ESO is a game. But the emp title is very addictive and dangerous for some people.
And it leads to cheating (ap boosting etc.), account sharing and other unwanted behavior in the game.
I am not sure if there is a fix, other than just getting rid of the whole concept.

It's a game, so you should be playing it to have fun. If you kill me, there's no need to be a jerk about it. And if I kill you, there's no need to get nasty about it. We should all be able to congratulate each other for playing well, regardless of who won and who lost. You kill me, then (if I'm lucky) I kill you, and we rinse and repeat.

Good luck with that....
Now that the event is winding down, it's the same as any other event to me, I do what I gotta do and then participate or not participate. This year I finished all my characters' Alliance War Skill line to 10 so that's out of my system.
I'm just using the last few days to T1+ my alts so I'll have another grip of transmute for me in September. So all in all, it was a fine event, dropped connection a few times, touched grass a few times, made a little love, got down tonight.
Got down tonight.

It's not over yet! The monthly campaign has ended and a new one begun, but we've still got this weekend to have fun, fun, fun before Daddy ZOS takes the T-Bird double AP away. Once more into the fray!
