I don't hate it. I would have preferred some of the most requested features mentioned here (slots, furnishing bag, etc) but I could see.some fun potential with it-- especially if they allow people to sort by guild name!

Guild housing contests where you could open the houses to the public for input and tours would be loads of fun.

The only explanation for this I can come up with, is that the dev responsible for the content in this update hid under their desk for half a year in fear of having to deliver to this system that has needed development or polishing since it launched. It's a good system, but I'm not resubbing today after it ran out yesterday, because I think they're dumping on the player base - and pulling on our leg after hyping it too). Most pvp'ers have left, wonder if a lot of the housingvpeople will start to evaporate now they know how little the future holds for them too.

got 24 classic .11 notable and all staple houses so 2 more or 5 more wont make a difference
also new archive stages wont make a difference, cause i kinda bored doing the same stages till a marauder-or a trial boss kill me or throw me outside platform

what makes a difference to me,is when new content is coming out ,housing slots and to solve my surveys prob
none of them answered, so i just watched the stream while doing crafting daily's on sec monitor

I think it's a good thing and something they should do, but it's adapting an addon to an official game feature. It's new for console, but for PC they've had these capabilities for years so hyping it up is just asking for disappointed customers.

Like the tales of tribute it's nice, but something that goes alongside the headliner the "but wait there's more!" feature. It shouldn't be the main attraction itself.

I'm happy to get a medium house. I do love the large ones but find decorating medium ones more enjoyable.

I don't know how I feel about the new feature since I already list my houses in the EHT Community. I am interested in how we will rate houses though. It may be interesting to see what others think of our work as long as it doesn't bring a lot of negativity and turn toxic.

I mean, for console people it's a nice feature (and the two new houses don't look bad either), but why make a big announcement about it and call it a new housing feature? A few years ago that would have been considered a small quality of life update, nothing more.

I did not really expect them to increase the item limit, but I was hoping for something that will allow us to add something new to the houses (plots for growing decorative plants, mannequins, anything new). But this is severely underwhelming for a BIG HOUSING update.

They cut so much developing of new content since last year, but hype stays at same level to making illusion of nothing changed. So much smaller chapter zone, so small and niche features... In past we had 2 new dungeons and same level of features nad QoL changes - now they cut dungeons and pretend that rest is more when is not.

I don't really know what I was expecting for this update, but it wasn't this.

I imagine there will be some people who find this feature amazing. I prefer to watch housing tours on YouTube, honestly.

I would have probably gotten excited for some of the things many others have already mentioned for a long time and tuned in specifically because it sounded like it could have some potential.

love the new houses,
Seabloom Villa in Auridon is so beautiful! i love the flower toggle for it and the design of the house is something i haven't seen in-game before which is nice.
And love that it is in the Alinor style. 🌸

and the House of the Five Companions looks awesome, the table with the illusions is funny.
i like the environment in the whole home, love that the base game imperial style is getting used again.

Home tours seem cool too.
i like being able to list my homes.

plus update 43 will likely as usual have new master writ and structural plans which always excite me ^_^

I personally missed the livestream and am still at work - what specifically are they adding in update 43 outside of this housing update?

I’m genuinely surprised this is all the housing community is getting as I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone genuinely ask for this. Virtually everything in the chat was what was popularly asked for - furniture bag, furniture deconstruction, more slots, mannequins for displaying cool collected sets, etc etc

I didn't hold my breath for increased slots, but there are plenty of things that would have been so much more deserving to own the "Big Housing Update" moniker.

Improved design tools like snap-to. The ability to save creation schematics so us console users can save our creations (and not allow visitors to save), so we don't have to manually recreate intricate designs every time we want to do use it again.
Expanded storage would have been nice. I'm not greedy. Don't need a Furnishings Bag. Simply more storage chests with significantly more storage, limited to furnishings only, would do just fine.
A furnishings library so we can look up whether a furnishing plan has been learned or not without having to stop what we're doing to travel to a crafting station.
A Searchable filter for the crafting stations so we don't have to manually scroll through hundreds and hundreds of plans to find the style or specific plan we're looking for.
... the list goes on and on...

Anything would have been better. Update 43 isn't even a housing update at all. A new menu system that happens to display a listing of houses (IMHO) does not constitute an update to the housing system.

The Home Tour feature looks pretty good. The new house in Auridon looks really nice, the 5 Companions house is a bit meh for me.
But seriously that's it for the "big housing update" in quarter 3? I was expecting a lot more than 1 new feature.

I play PC. I use EHT, every aspect of it. For me this is a nothing burger. I would have been happy with 10 more slots per notable. It's ok for consoles I guess.

I wanted more furniture slots like most other people, this "House Tours" would not be so bad if extra slots was also an included feature of U43, even something like 100 more for notables, 50 for classic and 25 more for staple homes would go a long way.

ZOS has to stop playing fair with console players, if they cannot handle more slots then tough, why is this stopping PC players from getting more slots.

Update 43 will be one of the most disappointing updates, to date.
I really hope ZOS delivers on Update 44, with PvP & companions.

ZOS has created a new art form of not giving players what they want, and this is especially true in housing.

For example, I can't understand why they can't create weapon rack furnishings, requested thousands of times. A simple thing to do, really (compare it to some antiquities), it exists in the game in so many variants. The Armory has a mannequin, which was requested again a thousand times, but they won't make a furnishing out of it.

Tours is such a limited use feature. Good for contests and sharing homes, but useless and annoying otherwise. I don't like when strangers come into my house, I find it irritating. Of course, I can change settings and all, but I am just saying that this feature is cool only for a group of people, while a slot item increase would benefit most of the community.

I was expecting something like an overhaul of the old furnishings sets, with an increase in the number of plans etc. More options to build, some more interactivity, teleports, traps, the likes.

The communication with the community is almost zero, this is what disappointed me the most in this stream. Praises from Cardinal, but otherwise, nothing on what the community wants, zero communication. The housing forum is the most ignored.

I hope this tours system will include some way to sell and purchase the decorated houses from other players. I think it would create a source of income for decorators and housing would really be a thing. Visiting is a good option for when you are bored...

As someone doing a lot of housing, interacting with the community in guilds, streams, contests I am deeply dissapointed.

We already have a thriving and welcoming housing community, which is interacting in and out of the game on so many levels.

It might not be the right time to lean back on real development in housing, while other games start introducing very interesting housing possibilities.
