Has anyone's account been freed yet?

I was sure since I never used the maxed template and didn’t buy or sell anything on the PTS, my account would be easy to reinstate. But clearly I’m wrong. Looks like another prime time will be missed tonight and still no word or sign of these mysterious free account codes promised five hours ago.

Yeah I also haven't seen a code. Holding out hope, sorry to hear your account still isn't reinstated either. But thank you very much @ZOS_Kevin for keeping us in the loop, it is very much appreciated.

I would guess those unlocked today are accounts not needing a roll back.

In other words these conditions probably had to be true:

1. You didn't buy anything from crown store.
2. You didnt make a template character that boosted your CP to 3600
3. You didn't do anything on PTS like delete characters that would have caused irreversible damage on live.

still locked, here. first thing I did on the PTS was buy a new character slot to roll a cp3600 to play with so I'm almost certainly on the rollback list. I didn't even have the chance to log on to the live server at all that day before everything went down. not sure if the extra game codes have gone out yet but I haven't gotten one of those, either, only the initial "account temporarily locked" email.

probably would have been less bummed out if I hadn't planned and prepped in advance to go unreasonably whole hog on my favorite event but at least this setback left me with the free time to watch Fallout so I guess it's not a complete loss.

This is all essentially what I'm already thinking. It's unfortunate, the few times I have used the PTS I always make max level/max CP characters so I can see how my damage output and skills look, especially if there's a new class to play. Ugh, I really hope these 3 things don't count against us for a rollback but I suspect they will. If only I was clairvoyant.Thanks for the input.

I disagree. My account is still locked and...

1. I bought nothing on the crown store
2. I did not make a new PTS character
3. I did not delete PTS characters or do anything that would cause damage on live.
4. I did nothing to exploit that would cause a permanent ban.

I hope you enjoyed the series, I did. But I won't derail the forum topic lol. I just hope everyone gets unlocked before the weekend starts. Here's hoping...

Maybe they are just EU characters. Maybe there are additional conditions that could cause issues i don't know about. Just throwing out some guesses dude.

I am pretty confident all the things I listed though if you did any of them you are probably not getting your account back today.

I did not do any of these things. I logged into PTS purely by accident, because the launcher had defaulted to it after the update, and I mistakenly accepted my daily reward of endeavor seals. Immediately logged out, and into the NA server where I discovered that I could not accept my daily reward there. SO all I did was log in by mistake and lose my 200 seals of endeavor, and I am banned and apparently getting rolled back. I gained nothing.

Just received a code for eso from support. Now i can have fun with 0 cp, no plus and mount at lvl 1. The code is for Necrom deluxe edit

I mean..i dont think they expect you to actually use the new account to start over from scrach. Its mostly for playing on the PTS while we wait. Try the new skills, see the new zone etc etc A way to spend some time and a means for some people to be able to try the new trial in blind runs.

I just recieved the code for a new account but I can't access it. Since I'm playing on cloud gaming platform (Boosteroid), I can only play games through gaming platforms such as steam and Epic games.
Any potential workaround for that?

Yes, because I'm friends with someone who is a popular Stream Team member, and he's still locked out, and I'm friends with someone from EU who doesn't have anything on NA, and he was unlocked this afternoon.

I mean, it makes complete sense. If there's no data to restore, then it should be easy to unlock them fast and early. Certainly makes a lot more sense than the conspiracy theory that you were parading around.

Yes this makes sense. My friend who has never logged to NA got their account unlocked.

I only logged in to NA to see that yes I have 3600 cp and 1B gold and then logged off. I didn't get mine unlocked.

That's not 100% true. I know people who play on NA who had accounts restored and people who play on NA who didn't have accounts restored. In one case, both accounts did the same things on pts (logged in, but did not create a template or interface with scribing), then logged over to live to go about their business, but one account is unlocked and the other is locked.

This whole mess which in my opinion is totally Zos fault has spoiled for me this whole event.

I easily put myself in the place of those who were unfairly banned or locked out and know I would have quit the game entirely.


I hope that they are compensated for not what they lost but for what they have endured.

For those that expolited you stole what you have, which make it worthless.

The code that I got is the Necrom Collectors Deluxe with the collectors goodies from all the previous expansions.

I never bought those but I bought the collectors edition of Gold Road (because I liked the extra’s) for once. So I am going to apply this on my main account when it is unlocked I think instead of making a new one. Then I end up with the complete edition.

Then I still get something out of this mess. And I really don’t feel like playing the Anniversary event anymore anyway because ZOS ruined it for me or try the PTS. I went back to Sea Of Thieves with my friends and give ESO a short break.

Im at B (so i should be somewhere on top of the list), i have never been to PC-NA, and i didnt use crown store on PTS but im still locked. I guess there is something else that prioritises which account is getting unlocked first. But i got code so im happy right now to just annoy my friends in game as i wait for main account, thanks ZOS
