Deleted Imperial Edition/Early Access Items

    Hi, I also deleted my initial Imperial character about an hour into the game on Sunday. I'm especially bummed about losing the treasure maps, it would be nice to get those back. The Imperial horse works fine, though.

    I sent a ticket 2 days ago, but I never recieved a mail back that you recieved it, so I have no idea if a ticket is already made.

    Hello, everyone. We are aware of players who have accidentally deleted their Imperial Edition or Early Access items when deleting a character. This happens when those items were redeemed by a character and then that character was deleted.

    For those who have not experienced this issue, please do the following in order to avoid it:
    • If you have redeemed your items from the in-game mail system and wish to delete the character who currently has them, do not delete them immediately.
    • Please visit a bank and deposit these items. It will ensure that they are not lost when the character is deleted.
    • If you would like to be extra-careful, you can add the items to your bank, log on a different character, and retrieve them on that character.
    If you believe you have accidentally deleted your Imperial Edition/Early Access items, please check your other characters and your in-game mail to ensure that the items are no longer available. You can access your mail by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the screen from the game menus. If the items are deleted, and have not previously sent a ticket in to our Customer Support Team about it, please reply in this thread. We will create a ticket for you so that they can further help with this issue.

    You may wish to add to your post that the maps cannot be placed in the bank. I went to the bank to deposit my items for safekeeping, only to find the maps could not be deposited. Just a heads up. I already created a ticket to have my maps resent (140402-022770), but I thought it worth mentioning.

    I delete a character that has retrieved Imperial Edition items and Explorer's Pack with out realizing it when I was doing the workaround to fix the character creation zoom in issue and I did this around 730am est on Sunday before there was and notice.
    i then contacted Customer Support later that day about it and about an hour later they said "Unfortunately, Sheogorath has gotten ahold of your items and is refusing to give them back. I am too weak to get these items back to you, but I am going to send your issue over to our powerful Tier 2 support team for further assistance." and have not gotten an update scents then(it been 3 days). the Question Reference # 140330-052798 i hope you can solve this issue thank you for your time have a nice day.

    I deleted my character that had the imperial and explorer pack items on it. Sent an in game ticket and gotten this response.

    we are currently investigating your issue and how to restore the Explorer's Pack and Imperial Edition bonus items to players who may have accidentally deleted them. If players have experienced this, we ask that they contact us at a later time.

    I have Question Reference # 140331-051185 opened and supposedly escalated to the appropriate team for further investigation but didn't hear anything back since then. Can you please check for status or provide me an ETA for when or IF I'll be able to retrieve my Imperial, Explore's and Beta's items? Thanks in advance.

    They told me to wait till friday and if the items don't appear in the mail on friday to contact them then.

    I really wonder about people who delete their characters after they opened their imperial bonus mails.

    --> it should be common logic that if you open a mail and get items in your inventory that it gets deleted after you delete your character.

    That would happen in every other game that content in your inventory gets deleted if you decide to delete the whole character.

    If you PAY for the items, such as the Imperial Bonus items it is a common sense that every new character should get them as well. This happens for most of the other MMOs, GW2 for example. There was no message about not deleting a character by the start of early access.

    And why are you even here if you don't have the problem? Just to point out that every single user asking for help here deserved to lose all the bonus items that they PAID for?

    Ok, so almost everyone in this thread got the following message attached to their comment:

    But I still didn't get ANY response at all! Could you at least reassure me that my ticket arrived? I can't be sure that it worked with all the bugs happening here. I didn't get a ticket confirmation or whatever. No response at all. And now you even ignore me in this thread? Seriously, I am getting miffed about this whole situation here. My patience is about to run out. I don't mind waiting for my items. But at least TELL me what's going on! Did you see my ticket or my comment? A response would be greatly appreciated.

    I sent in a ticket about my rings of mara issue, and i got an email back saying if you do not hear from me within 120 hours my ticket will be closed, i replied to it, but not even sure if thats how i keep my ticket open.

    On Sunday I created my first character, and claimed all of my pre-order (Imperial Edition) and Beta Rewards. However upon getting out of the tutorial zone I realized I had chosen the wrong faction by accident, and quickly proceeded to log out and delete of that character, without thinking about my pre-order items.
    I was wondering if these items could be restored to me.
    Already sent a ticket Sunday right after it happened, and received a email response. However the email said if this issue had not been resolved in 120 hours, you at Zenimax Online would assume the issue has been resolved.

    (Already submitted a ticket of this a few moments ago. But just making sure as I am not sure how long the ticket is allowed to be.)

    The same goes for me. This is the 4th time I've posted on here re: my items being messed up.

    I made a character before the warnings. Deleted him because I had the creation zoom bug and he looked bad. Lost my stuff. Only have the monkey and mara back.
    Still need Explorers Pack and IE, as I believe the monkey was the beta item.

    Hello,
    I am sorry for the lateness of my response. The Thieves guild stole my computer and just now got it back by setting them on fire with magicka and then celebrated my triumph by break dancing with guars.

    I was able to restore the items that you lost. and they should be in an IN GAME EMAIL

    Please be sure the check the mail of all of your characters for your restored items and please DO NOT DELETE any of you characters until you have checked all of them.

    I would to thank you for your patience and understanding while we resolved your issue. To show our appreciation for you, please accept this gift the first two Elder Scrolls games Arena & Daggerfall
    -with step by step instructions on how to install them.

    Now go forth and use your newly restored items to bring peace to Tamriel by setting mudcrabs on fire and hitting evil in the face.

    I deleted mine prior to the login notice being posted. I already submitted a ticket in game a couple of days ago but have not yet had the items returned. My reference number is as follows-Question Reference # 140331-063892.

    As an aside, I'm a little bit perturbed by the email I received for the support page ticket I opened for the same issue.
    We understand you have accidentally deleted items from your imperial edition. We're sorry to hear about that. For verification purposes please provide the following information:
    Name
    Email
    Game code

    I had to log in to the support page to submit my ticket, requesting my information through an email is just bad form. I've seen too many fake emails regarding other MMO's to feel comfortable with that.

    This happened to me as well. If there's any way I can get support on this, that would be great. Deleted my initial character due to wanting a different name, and thought that the mail system would probably be based on characters instead of an entire account. I've submitted a support ticket, but the e-mail rep wasn't very helpful. Thank you for you help in advance!

    I haven't received all of my items. Strangely I received the monkey pet, the Rings of Mara, the ability for Imperial characters, and any race/faction, however the other pets, maps, etc, never showed in my mail.
