    The ring is great because it has non obvious clauses like "you don't waste time casting buff skills" or "buffs don't cost you resources".

    People keep trolling at safeboxes now, just having loot window open without looting nor closing the window. No one is able to loot them that way and the box won't respawn either.

    ZOS????????? Does anyone of you devs even read here?????

    Actually it is. Go back and look at some of the threads and you will see it was highly requested from very early in the games history.

    it's more tuned to solo players, who will run 1 bar builds for convenience, this makes it less penalizing to do so, and makes it so that if you're like, soloing world bosses, you can use cheap potions, or like arenas.
    it's not going to top DPS but it will let you lazily pull 50k dps+ without much investment

    It's such an easy fix too. Just have 10+ spawn locations for the safebox. Once it's looted, box disappears and moves to the next randomly picked spot, with the current spot excluded from the possibilities.

    Gave up, this mythic is I'm told, aimed at those that are less abled, as such though I have no chance of clicking fast enough to open the chest first. 9 hours later and still nothing even though I got the first four in less than an hour. It is looking like I will only get the last lead long after they nerf it into the ground.....

    Not ordering the new chapter is looking like one of my better decisions at the moment. A safebox lead drop is beyond obnoxious. This, much like a card game,[snip]
    Couldn't agree more.

    Though I hope there are more sources than just safeboxes, or ZoS add more soon.

    If they really insist on putting it in such small and extremely limited amounts of possible sources, they should at least up the drop rate to being very high, practically guaranteed. Low drop rates should only be for leads that come from sources someone can farm consistently, without competition making it a nightmare. Something that drops from a dungeon boss, for example, can be rarer than something drops from a safebox. Because the only limit to farming the dungeon is your time and ability to organize it/solo it.

    From what I've seen, if you actually do get to pick the lock, the drop rate is high. If you do not pick the lock, it's been debated as to whether you can get the lead at all (unless the person who picks the lock doesn't take the lead from the box).
    I didn't get any drops from checking the box after other people picked, but the first time I picked a box, I got the lead.

    So I'm wondering if you actually can get it without being the one who picks the lock or not. Maybe it's just a waste of time until it thins out because only 1 person can get it every 15 min.

    Either way, the way that ZOS set this put, makes other players hate each other.
    Totally an irresponsible move by the devs who should want to foster a community not have it tearing each other apart over something competitive like this.

    People cooperate to locate where the leads drop.....
    then this lead gets revealed and it turns into a dog eat dog world.

    It's awful, and ZOS should feel bad every single employee in that company for setting up people to be at each other's throats.

    Way to go ZOS, I applaud you at fostering malice and hate in your community.

    Dear Zenimax,

    Please, change availability of this lead drop sources.
    Shadowfen was the serious mistake, as high contention has provoked high toxicity among players.
    Murkmire is even worse, due to much smaller lead sources number and respawn time.
    While Matt and Rich proclaim they would want players to fell like home in game,
    what kind of home are you building?

    Please, reconsider ASAP.

    I have no problem grinding/farming/camping. But waiting anywhere from 5-45 minutes to press E for a box, in a crowd of rude, toxic, and childish players IS NOT proper gameplay. The people who won't even give you a chance at the box. The people who refuse to put away their pets blocking the box. The people who continuously spam skills for no reason other than to cause an annoyance. Is this not griefing? When you do something that has absolutely no benefit to anyone, not even yourself.... solely for the purpose of being annoying? How is that acceptable? Why create that atmosphere? I can't imagine this was not foreseen, yet it was allowed to be made into content. This is not challenging content. This is not fun gameplay.

I had the same thought: why is zos setting up such a situation that turns players against each other in a pve environment... there's already so many factors in internet culture and online gaming that make people/communities toxic, why add a limited shared resource for a mythic they absolutely knew was going to be terribly popular... This happened with Shadowfen last year, and begs the question whether ZOS is being sadistic on purpose...

    The worst part is people are yelling each other as Idiot, etc... Most people do not know what is going on and loot it. This lead mechanic must change, not good for community.

    There's a brand new area to explore and someone thought it would be a good idea to funnel everyone into Murkmire for days on end and bore them to death.

    Gaming at its worst.

    This happened for the kilt, and I didn't see anyone petition to change that drop after they got it. I'm sure when everyone who wants it, gets it, this thread will die like the others

    Tbh. I just barely done Stormhaven Crab boss lead. I literally had to re-do my build into pure glass canon burst DPS with 6K weapon damage. But even that was not enough. I logged in today at 8:00 am and there was around 20 people at the boss (instead of 50 pet sorcs). Dawnbreaker & then Rapid Strikes spam. I got lucky. It was not my skill. It was pure luck & "PvP" (DPS race) vs other players who want the same in a PvE zone ! ! :o WHYYYY ?!

    But now I went to Murkmire. Even at early hours in the morning or late at night there are 10 people at each safe box spawn point. People in zone (and even in some guides) are actually recommending to re-map "E" interaction button to other that is easier to spam. Some even recommend using some kind of auto-fire macro if your mouse or keyboard have it.

    Listen ZOS. You made people to use auto-fire macro in your game ! It is what is happening. That is what you have created. I am no expert, but I find it hard to believe that no one asked any "what if" questions when this was designed. It is not a rocket science. You knew it will happen. You new people will fight each other over scraps in PvE zone. Instead of helping each other.

    But it is not too late. You can still fix this mess. It is your game. So prove us you care. Prove us that communication between player base & devs exists.

    Mythic items leads are supposed to have a moment of discovery & exploration. But that part of the design completely does not work. People know where leads drop from day1 (because Internet exists). So right now a lot of players, who actually paid you for new content are not able to get what they paid for. They feel cheated & kinda ripped off. It is not about instant gratification. It is about fair challenge.

    This was in fact asked for the kilt lead in Shadowfen and it was indeed changed from just 'water nodes' to 'all alchemy nodes' in order to alleviate the rather frustrating situation.
