Of all things the first thing I notice how easy it is to get the endeavors. They do hardly require an effort to complete. I find it understandable that the amount of them is high.

Yeah, that's total BS on ZOS's behalf. As if it wasn't impossible enough to save for something decent at 20 seals per day, today they've cut a quarter off the rewards.

I'm not surprised the Endeavors are nothing but a scam to make us grind even more.

Lol, now it is 45 a day. Where are all the white knights saying 1 mount per year is good? Theres a good chance we will no get even that. I think it will only be less and less from now on, just like daily logins started with 5 crown crates and even dlc, but ended up with occasional pet every other month.

That’s how it was on the PTS, as I noted yesterday. The numbers of seals awarded changed every day, for no apparent reason.

These aren't and were never meant to replace the need to purchase things entirely. These are an option to save up and use for selectively. There is not way they'd ever make it so that you could guarantee a radiant every season. That's just nonsense and pipe dream thinking.

No they were an attempt to keep the collective butts of ZoS out of court and regulators crosshairs in numerous countries because gambling with crown crates is being outlawed all over. There is not allowed to be anything that cannot be gained in a reasonable time through playing the game in several countries legislation and that is the only reason they did this. They are a terrible company with massively predatory practices and honestly I kinda hope the fines from regulators make Microsoft fire the majority of the people that work there.

Endeavours were created to comply with Microsoft's policy on loot boxes, in particular point 2 "Items in loot boxes can always be earned through play. All items available through paid loot boxes in our games will also be available through unpaid opportunity by gameplay (i.e. grinding)."

The question is how that's intended. Do they mean you'll be able to earn any of the items but not all of them? Or do they mean 1 player should be able to get all the items in loot boxes through play if they put enough time in? Because if it's the second one then the current system falls far short of that mark and will likely need to be changed when Microsoft gets a look at it. (Which makes me wonder if Zenimax are just hoping they don't look that closely.)

My endeavors counter has stopped any progress towards progress, this has happened two days now... is there a reason for this? My counter says that I have 16 hrs to complete the challenge, but my counters are not moving the progress bar.

You only got 60 for one day, today was 45. Who knows how many tomorrow. More/less who knows. I think it will be 45 from now on to be honest.

Even if 45, with weekly rewards it will be in the 6 to 9 month range at the most.

Free mount per year is still awesome Maybe no free Radiant Apex per year (per 1.5 years is even better in my opinion, to save tiny remains of their rarity), but Apex or two for sure. Amount of seals earned for these simple daily tasks doesn't bother me at all - I open crates anyway. Seals are just nice option to have.
If it was for me to decide, Radiant Apex mounts would not be possible to get with seals at all. So this Endeavor system is extremely generous to players.

Somebody had to open hundreds of crates for pure RNG Radiant Apex mount, while somebody just collects enough seals and gets the same mount for free later...

But someday I will also spend seals on some new beautiful mount, while somebody else will have to open some crates for it.

The real problem is: we need much more Special Collectible slots in houses I am sad to choose which mount to display - I want to see them all together.

It’s a silly thing to put a fanfare around endeavours, have it at 60 the first day, then dropped to 45 the very second day. Of course you will have some people unhappy about this. Sometimes, this one feels as though ZOS don’t think from a common sense perspective

Well I guess my comments were mean and so I had to be deleted from the post. I would like to take this time then to wish the very best to all the regulators that are investigating loot boxes and hope ZoS gets smashed so hard with fines Microsoft decides it's time for a staffing changeup. Perhaps once the entire team is given the idea that they aren't doing the job they are supposed to be doing things might, just might improve.

Finally something to counter the crown shop, but it's still a bit late and it just seems like a way to make people play things which are kind of dying off outside of events. I'll just get what I get, I won't pay too much attention to it, it's another grind for me and I've been grinding since beta.

This whole thing is a joke. It's not realistic to ever get anything worth a damn. We're talking years worth of constant grinding. Yeah, most of the dailies are easy but that's not the point. This whole thing feels like one big FU. Like they didn't want to offer them at all but MS policy forced them.

I am definitely not toxic here If people who never bought any crate can be furious that they don't get all expensive mounts for free every 3 months, I can be as much furious that these expensive mounts will be free for all someday As owner of many such mounts (unlike people who complain about Endeavors), I could never dream of getting even one of them for free...
I see lot of ungrateful posts about Endeavors, while people should be instead glad that we have such free option now.

I feel that decision to introduce Endeavors was not easy one, because many people will not need to open any crates at all to get some of those rewards now. Nothing changed for anyone who didn't buy crates before this system, except that now they can get free stuff from crates for simply playing the game - and still some people feel the need to rage

"But I have to log in the game and do some quick easy tasks, oh no!" - if playing the game to get shiny rewards later sounds like a chore, Endeavors have no impact on this feeling at all. To me it looks like the game simply became a chore (for different reasons like burn out, nerfs etc) for everyone who says that, and "long grind for Endeavors" is just used as an excuse.

I feel everyone's pain. On a personal note, I'm not bothered about the apex mounts as I just feel that they look silly. Overdesigned glowy rubbish, imo.

I like collecting mounts but am more likely to be interested in non-apex stuff.

And personalities, always want more personalities.

How are people going to earn apex stuff if they are changing the crate season before anyone gets enough seals? Or is the seal store the only way to get certain items after the crate season has finished?

In this first season, not at all.
If they fill the seal store in seasons, as well, then players just have to wait until that particular crate season cycles back. Just like you would do with crates but don't have the money atm / have bad luck with the gambling.

This is the same silly argument people made back in the day when jewelry crafting was introduced. People who farmed their butts off for gold pieces didn't want their previous efforts devalued. So now we have a horrible system that makes jewelry mats ridiculously expensive.

Yes you spent a lot of resources getting what you have but now you'll have to continue to do that rather than try to get them with seals because the prices are so obscene it'll take a stupid amount of time to get enough saved up for the stuff people want. You can make the argument apex mounts and personalities are priced okay but 3.6k for an xp scroll? C'mon.
