Well... We know things...

If its a Sony issue why do only Bethesda games not transfer trophies?

let me explain it to you.

This problem should not have existed initially, this topic should not have existed from the beginning, no one should look for the culprit, etc.There are certain things that just need to be done because they are logical and they show how you as a publisher and a developer think about your players.

Neither did anyone create topics, did not ask for anything in Warframe - so the transfer of trophies was made by Digital Extreme. It was available right from the first day as the game received an update on PS5. No one asked them about it, they just understood that it needed to be done.

A more recent example - Genshin. Again, the transfer was made on the very first day as the version for Ps5 became available.
You can go to PSNprofiles and see the trophy lists in Genshin for PS4 and PS5 have a different structure. Moreover, in the version for PS4 there is no Platinum, but in the version for PS5 there is. But the transfer works.

And there is one common point in these games. Both games have a list of achievements in the game that any player can view simply by going to their profile. And all trophies are tied to these achievements. Therefore, it seems to me that all they did was just scan the profiles of the players in the game and made the trophies on PS5 just activate when the game was turned on.

When you have a game that requires many hours and sometimes years from the players. Naturally, it is logical that players want to keep playing and want to sync their progress. Why no one even thought about it in ZOE, I don't know, it's just obvious right away. They simply created a problem for themselves out of nothing, and this topic will not go away and will not disappear, simply because the more time passes, the more players face this problem, and the problem only gets worse.

I would agree with the last reply. The Sony/PS4 stuff goes across games, so while games may help design the trophies, they clearly do not control the storage of them.

Did you lose the trophies in other games as well, like Destiny for example?

I personnaly only know 3 games were trophy dont tranfer one way or another, they are eso, skyrime and doom(as per some player in this tread as its not my kind of game) and they all have one point in common, see if you can guess...
Im sure it all a big coincidence...

And yes sony as its fault, it certainly could have been made easier for exemple but its clear the fault is not solely on them

Im not saying there is no other game that dont do it, only that these are the only i know of.

It's a matter of completionism. Some players are completionists and will want to get as many achievements as possible. Which is why some games add in "platinum" achievements that reward you a special trophy for getting all other ingame achievements. There's a clear market of players that do this.

Basically this! I'm not a huge completionist when it comes to trophies but I will go out of my way to get what I can. Trophies are the reason I finally got around to doing Master Fisher and I hate the thought of having to do it again, even if it is easier now. It infuriates me even more that I can't get really easy ones because I already did the activities on all my characters. It's like I'm being punished because I've played the game.

I would hate to think there's people out there with 18 master fishers who can't get the trophy so nobody believes them!

It's been nearly 6 months since the last update now, please could someone throw us a bone and just let us know if we have any chance at all of this happening still?

I’ve only started to play on PS5 after many years on PS4, and all my hard earned trophies are gone.
This is awful decision made by dumb people.
I need my trophies back!

My 84% completion PS3 GTA V trophies wave to my 62% completion PS4 GTA V trophies. And I fully expect to start another list of GTA V trophies when it releases for PS5.

Most ps3 games that rereleased on ps4 later have that with the exeption of those that realeased at about the same time on both, those usualy share one trophy list

On the contrary most ps4 throphies copy over to the ps5 list

Now for the extreme trophy hunter question... I wonder if this will work in reverse? Earn a trophy on the PS5 client and then fire up the PS4 client to pop the same trophy there and keep the two lists in sync.

Yes I know I'm in a minority here but I can dream, can't I??

I tried the PS5 client after hearing the news on the stream and really liked the performance mode so hopefully I can start using it in March with the update!

Beginning with this update, those who play both on PS4 and PS5 will see their PlayStation Trophies properly sync up. Simply log into your characters that have completed the appropriate in-game Achievements to obtain the matching Trophies.
