Guildmate purchased it on the eso website, doesn't play on steam, has the CE and sees the CE mount when trying to login and then the game tells him he is locked out the content

Same here with a steam edition of the game. I even got all the DLC related stuff like Styles, exp scroll etc. Still cant go to Greymoor.

I bought mine from Steam, standard edition. Logged in after 20 mins once, it told me I have to buy the DLC. Trying to relog but getting timeouts after 20 mins. Fantastic work, thanks!

I just got notification this morning from CS that they approved my access to Greymoor (I bought the physical CE and it hasn't even shipped yet, let alone arrived), but I'm locked out and not able to access it.

It not a problem related from where you buy the game i think, coz before the 2° maintenance my loggin was normal, and is not even a problem related to the first char logging...

I bought Greymoor digital CE from Steam and it doesn't let me use the wayshrine to zone in. The in-game Store correctly says I have the chapter purchased already.

Sometimes, Steam can have issues crop up that are unique to them. If players who bought via official site are running into problems accessing content, that tells Zeni "Ok, then it's something on our end, this isn't just a Steam problem, we gotta get to work." Whereas if it's only limited to Steam, Zeni can do nothing but try to get Steam to investigate the issue.

Basically, is it Zeni having the issue or is the middleman (Steam) having the issue? That's what Ms. Folsom is trying to make sure about. Zeni doesn't want to bring down the servers and impact 100% of the population if it's a problem only limited to Steam players and not the whole population of players.

Mine is a standard upgrade and I pre-ordered it from Steam. I even manage to claim my pre-order stuff before the extended maintenance earlier. Steam also has a purchase history so no cheating that.

I`ve successfully logged to NA and was able to go to Skyrim (Greymoor)

However I cannot log into EU anymore.... to check if the issue is fixed.


This reminds me to the issue that we had last year with Eslweyr and Necromancer where we had to relog in order to be able to create the Necro.

Seems there is no difference from wehre / how you are trying to login,
- having linked account with steam,

Tried to logon via steam > not working
manual logon using ESO account, same issue, infinite load .. > not working

Looks like group of hamsters (which rotated the generator) runaway from Bethesda / Zenimax datacenter during the update , maybe

I think the solution should be to switch back to the first version on the servers today. While everyone had access to the new zones, it worked way better than the new one.

Yes and my ESO account says I have Greymoor standard edition,
also in my previous comment I said that I`m able to go to Skyrim on NA server, but not on EU.

Which seems like similar issue that we had last year with Elsweyr where we had to relog in order to create Necromancers.

I cannot confirm that the issue is fixed for me on EU as I cannot log in there anymore.

Impossible de se connecter.... Achat de greymoor via teso il y a deux mois, 12 h de maintenance... au lieu des 6 annoncées..... pour arriver à choisir mon perso et puis plus rien, ça tourne à vide. Réellement ça commence à être lourd. On nous bouffe une journée entière de connection ou presque par semaine avec ces maintenances qui finissent en eau de boudin quasi à chaque fois

Tbh, its makes me quite angry that you only care about this Problem here atm. 95% of your playerbase cant get even past Chracter Request and you didnt even gave one reply to this.
