Are you buying Greymoor

Cannot answer the poll directly since the options are incredibly biased and lacking in proper responses. However, I am not buying Greymoor now and have also unsubbed.
    • Performance has been in a steady decline for years. Each update we're promised fixes and each update it gets worse. I get loading screens in PvE zones now when collecting surveys and my skills lag out even when solo questing. And while it doesn't impede my progress in those activities, it still shouldn't be happening. The bad instance issue with trials, the poor performance in end-game content...those all do impede my progress though and I am losing patience.
    • For the last year and a half, we have been on a roller coaster ride of combat changes. These changes appear to be made with an overall "power budget" perspective instead of looking at sets and abilities in context of where and why they are being used and how players interact with them. Bosmer players that were promised more ways to engage with the stealth system are still waiting.
    • Greymoor has the least content of any of the previous chapters and costs on par with the ones that came with a new class. It should have, at most, been the same cost as Summerset.
      • Morrowind: new zone, new class, new game style (BGs), new trial = $40
      • Summerset: new zone, new guild, new crafting line, new mini trial = $30
      • Elsweyr: new zone, new class, new trial = $40
      • Greymoor: new zone, new trial, antiquities = $40
    • Lack of communication, particularly surrounding contentious changes, is a big deal. Plenty of people have asked about the arena weapon changes, no answer. Plenty of people have tested the new weapons and given feedback into how they're not performing properly (pen on vMA destro staff, 3-cast change on vAS destro staff, etc) and also given suggestions on what might work better (so not just ranting) and there has been zero response acknowledging any of it. This PTS cycle had very, very little adjustments and while a lot of what we see in the initial patch makes it live, usually week 3 has a lot of changes across the board but this cycle was weak in terms of adjustments and explanations.
All in all, while I do love the game, I can't continue to support it monetarily anymore. I may pick up Greymoor eventually on sale but I won't be pre-ordering and won't be paying full price with all the issues currently in game.

3+MILLION PLAYERS and you got 150 votes and you think that's a fire? Too funny.

I'm just curious what your thought is regarding this... I'm willing to bet a lot of those players are new and/or returning players for the expansion releasing next week, what do you think will happen when these players try to run a "Trial", "Battlegrounds" and or venture into "Cyrodiil". Do you think they will be satisfied with the current server performance, lag, latency etc? Do you think they will continue to play long after experiencing what is currently going on? How many of those players are currently putting up with these issues waiting to play the "story" part of the expansion with the intent of quitting soon there after due to these latency issues?

Again, i'm just curious what your opinion is?

The thing is I've played enough mmorpgs to know how things work. Have I defended the game at all in my post? Nope I havent all I've said is you guys are so over the top and this game isnt going anywhere.

Does it have issue? Yep just like every other mmorpg.

Are these issues going to kill the game today? Tomorrow ? 5 years down the road? Nope

Even with the issues is this one of the better mmorpgs out today? Outside of these forums I would say a good amount of mmorpg players would say yes it's one of the better ones out today. Best? Probably not.

I'm just curious how long have you been screaming the game is dead and everyone is leaving? Every mmorpg forum has people like this for years they claim the game is dead or dying and they stick around for years hoping one day it does close just so they can say I told you so. Is that you?

Thats some serious excuse making. Maybe if zenimax just stopped puking out content, and took an update to invest some serious time and money into performance, people would stop complaining. this is an awesome game but it means nothing when it runs like it does, and this have been going on for years. People are sick and tired of it, and this is the internet, so of course things are going to get toxic.

There are no excuses there it's just how it is. Now of course you cant counter anything I said because its 100% fact so you just resort to the typical toxic reply.

Again I've been around mmorpgs long enough to know the replies I'll be getting on the forums, I've seen them all a million times nothing original just regurgitate the same old talking points.

No I am waiting to see how it plays out
    No, not going to buy.
I unsubbed and filed for a refund for the last 3 months of eso+.

Servers are way to unstable, the price is way high compared to content.
