I've ordered the collectors edition...
Massive Elderscrolls & ESO fanboy... But I have to confess that the PTS cycle has totally taken the shine off this patch for me. So many really silly counterproductive decisions hammering endgame players and the efforts they've put in, & a real lack of communication across the PTS cycle.
That and the horrible state of the game performance is really making me struggle to enjoy it... and I want to SO badly!

✭No I am waiting to see how it plays outLike I've been harping in most of my recent posts, the grind in ESO has become too much for me to enjoy. Antiquities system is the only thing I'm interested in Greymoor, and based on what the community has gleamed from PTS, it's going to be grindy as ***.
Housing is limited by the lack of structural pieces, heavy real money prices, ridiculous grind for mats and blueprints, and the inanely small item caps.
PVP is a *** show with bad balance, lop sided population, and horrendous performance. One or two sessions a week is all I can stomach, and the only consolidation is that I really don't need to sub to romp around Cyro effectively. Well, as effectively as one can, given the horrible performance.
I will get Greymoor eventually, when it's on sale or something. I'm sure the stories and quest will give decent enough entertainment for a weeks worth of sessions, and hopefully by then the community has put together guides for streamlining the antiquities grind or something.
But yeah... Bad performance, constant erratic game changing tweaks, grindy nature of new content, have really put ESO on the bafk burner for me. Even the power of the all might TES brand can't breathe enthusiasm for the thing, anymore, at least as far as I am concerned.7 -

✭I'm most likely going to buy it when it drops on ps4, as it is the first chapter zone I've actually looked forward to and I bought the others when they came. That and PSN decided to resub for a year even though I had auto subscription turned off, I'm judt going with it. * Don't care about vampires
* Don't care about gothic dark settings
* Don't care about the mythic items mechanic
* Don't care about helping vampires, my characters probably'd side with whomever is fighting against the vamps to kill them, so the story is already a no-no (but here, I'm not so sure on this, like, if there's a twist or not, I didn't have the time to check the PTS... and I don't have too good info about what's going on either, as I didn't actively seek info... just repeating what I've read somewhere.)
* Also waiting on performance improvements and bug fixing
* And also, lately... quest story writing have been in complete decline... to the point that I had to abandon a few quests in Summerset due to bad writing... like, no options for advancing a quest without requiring characters to steal... And agreeing to do something just to be able to progress when you're obviously being deceived... there're ways to do stuff, and there's the bad way... and they're picking all the bad ways lately.
The only things that would entice me to buy it is to see Solitude and Blackreach, but... it's just too little for the amount of money they ask for the chapter (IMO and it's tainted by the fact that conversion rates have worsened for me... if the conversion rate to U$D were like it was 3 years ago, I'd probably have bought it...) and there's the big risk they'll end ruining them... so, I'll wait and see and if it ever come to pass that they prove me wrong, then I'll buy it... else I'll wait until next year when it's finally on sale (like I did with Elsweyr.)PC/NA - Proud old member of the Antique Ordinatus Populus

I'm not a big Nord guy, so there's no FOMO driving my decision. Second, I have more than enough content to keep me occupied until the expansion goes on sale.

Performance is awful, no changes for nb, pvp is unplayable, no new gear sets I want from the trial, the vma vdsa weapon changes are real f****ed up so I’ll save my money. I’m not happy with how we have been treated as customers so I’m gonna show it with my wallet. I’ve subbed and bought all of the chapters for years until now. I could put up with all the changes and would sub if they could just address the skill delay, crashes and give an explanation for the crappy changes to vma and vdsa weapons. Not going to pay for something that doesn’t work.3

Sad because I really do want to enjoy the game, glad because nothing short of a clear flop will send a signal to the execs at ZOS to get their act together and prioritize stability and performance. At this point I've stopped subscribing, which is something I'd never considered doing (I was and am in favour of a subscription-based monetization model) and am still waiting to see what happens regarding the "performance improvement plan" before I throw more money at this company.7 -
