ESO always had great potential, but the decisions made are worse every time. the unawareness, the silence of the team...those attitudes are shameful.
If you dare speak out on twitch, banned. If you speak out on forums, moderation just cuts off things. ESO has been dragging along all these years several problems that have not been resolved. This behaviour is unacceptable
And let's also mention how hard it is to motivate a guild to raid in current conditions, when you can't perform properly because there are so many issues of desync.
Its endemic to several video game companies, Zenimax included, to not set CORRECT priorities straight. How can you seriously buy a new DLC when the base game is left in shambles?
Sadly, our only way to make a point is hurting the pockets.
I am miles away from putting money on Greymoor.

Many people didn't change, you just see the backlash of bad performance.
Some people did change.
In the early days of ESO I was an ardent defender of ZOS and extremely excited about everything that was coming over the horizon. I watched every ESO live. I came to the forums (primarily Crafting) to discuss new experiences, new ideas, and new systems. I avidly talked about all the fun that I was having in the game.
The ZOS started making changes: B2P, the Crown Store, Crown Crates, devaluing crafting, making systems grindier to encourage store purchases (e.g. motifs), moving mounts and other cosmetic items into the cash shop, crown store exclusives, lawyering their way into putting pre-order bonuses into the cash shop, divorcing outfit styles from motifs, not making everything in the game able to be earned in the game, introducing small-population attributes into the general population (vampires, werewolves, necromancers)... I could go on. I have in other threads.
The forums didn't just magically become a less positive place. At least for me, I became less positive here as a direct result of decisions made by ZOS. I continue to play because my enjoyment of certain aspects of the game is greater than my dislike of other aspects. Eventually that balance will probably shift, and I will stop playing. That hasn't happened yet.
In the mean time, I will continue to challenge ZOS when I think they are making a call that will lead to me enjoying the game less.
I'm not buying Greymoor yet because, quite frankly, I'm Norded out. They are my least favourite culture in ESO. And I say that as someone who played the heck out of Skyrim. Of course I was a Morrowind fan first, so Skyrim was always going to be a pale reflection of that. And then the climactic zones in my own alliance (pre-OT) were Nord. Gnah.
I might pick up Greymoor at some point, but because of its thematic content it'll be a while.

If you think only 54% of people on these forums voting "no" (majority leaving open the possibility of buying it) is a win for you you are sadly mistaken.
These forums are filled with 80-90% negativity yet you can only muster 50%.
You do realize you got a whopping 150 votes right? There are 100,000s playing this game that will never step foot in these toxic forums. So not sure what other mmorpgs you are playing but based on population vs other mmos yeah they are doing just fine.
You are the vocal minority and that's all.
