Just got "Sloped Dwarven Guards" from Archivist Sanctius in Razak's Wheel. It's possible you can get the lead from any of the bosses in the public dungeon.

Has anyone found the Tri-Angled Truth Altar in Bal Foyen? I looted about 75 safeboxes and didn't find it

Mine so far:

• Branch of Fallinesti from a wood node.
• Tall Papa's Lamp from a random human mob near a dig site for one of the freebie leads.
• Dwemer Star Chart from a chest or else from the mudcrab next to it.
• Dwemer Puzzle Box -- darn, I don't remember for sure, but I think it was another chest.
• Morwha's Blessing from a Kari's tip board repeatable quest (Covetous Countess).
• Void-Crystal Anomaly from a random mob near the first Coldharbour freebie dig site.

I found a Seat of the Snow Prince lead today in Western Skyrim by just killing some mudcrabs. No joke. The same item also dropped from the group event boss in one of the public dungeons there.

Torc Strand of Lore- got it from hags camp boss. seems to be a world boss drop from any.

I got the Fanged Cuirass on my first trip to Sanguine's Demesne. It didn't drop from the skill point boss trio, but rather from the first miniboss I killed, namely The Fire Eater. (The hard part was finding a living miniboss amongst all the players running around.)

Yes, but once you have the lead, you won't get it again until you've scried/dug the lead you've got.

Any had any luck finding the lead to The Heartland? I've opened countless Treasure Chests in Cyrodiil now without getting it.

Question about the Cyro and Imperial city leads. I understand that the leads may be found there and that they are scryed and excavated in the PVE zones. Do the leads also drop in the corresponding PVE zones.

In other words, do I have to go to Cyro and IC to get those leads. I'm not a fan of PVP and don't feel like getting ganked or zerged trying to find leads.

After dozens of Cyrodiil delve chests and a few treasure map chests I'm at 4x Ayleid Skull and 0x The Heartland...

Since the Heartland furnishing is scryed and excavated in Alik'r, has anyone tried killing the Imperials in Satakalaam, located on the eastern side of Alik'r where the Imperial Incursion quest takes place?

Seem to be a logical place to find Imperial themed Cyro items?

I blame the bot farmers for the near extinction of the mudcrabs. (and everything else the bot farmers do)

Loot table is usually the same for all delves of a zone. I tried different delves in Cyro and always got the Ayleid skull from chests and the plating from bosses.

I doubt the lead can be found on Satakalaam Imperials. Most of all because all of the lootable Imperials leave the area once you've completed its quest - I don't think ZOS would tie a lead to sources that you can lose access to.

Good point. I'm just looking for other options for the lead sources so I can avoid Cyro if at all possible.

Just got the lead for "Auri-El Metal Carvings" from a "Frostedge Bulwark" on Bleakrock Isle. It may be possible that the lead is a general drop.
