We just had a thread about this literally vanish from the forums... and still no word from ZOS as to fixing this. I am afraid to even log on.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    I just noticed that, they deleted the forum talking about mass bans? They didn't lock it, talk about it, or anything? ZOS support, @ZOS_GinaBruno seriously, we need answers WAY too many people just got ban after crashing.

    Crashing is clearly proof of cheating, ESO client is perfect and can never crash unless you cheat!
    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    My friend also was just banned without any information and has done nothing wrong. We were just talking and boom, crash, gone. She's not a trouble maker. Please let us know who they are to contact specifically to see if this is in error.

    Yes, a word from zos would be a good thing at this time @ZOS_GinaBruno .
    So, we know if there is a legitimate concern of being banned for using addons.

    They probably deemed it a violation because talking about disciplinary action is not allowed.

    But if people are getting falsely banned en masse, that’s a serious issue that needs to be addressed, not one to be swept under the rug.

    If there was a mass ban for something that just happened, just let us know that it does exist and who to contact specifically (not just CS), that's all.

    Exactly, yes its against the rules to talk about it, but when I know so many people getting ban after crashing... Something is seriously up.

    Nothing is wrong in glorious North Kor... I mean zos. Customers were just wrong and spreading false information.as usual.

    I will add I have my friend *on stream* where she was literally just sitting there in a house of hers I was exploring when she got booted and banned, so I know she wasn't actively doing any cheating at that moment.

    They're just trying to reduce the amount of players on EU so the servers run better

    what is getting them banned is the 3rd party tech anti cheat system its going after people that are running addons i would just remove them all for now

    Anyone running addons in pvp these days is far braver than I. Crashes so bad even without them. Best thing we can do is get the message out for everyone to run nakid for a couple of days until we get some information.

    What does it mean? 3rd party tech?

    Like the ones from esoui?

    For example I use LUI and votans minimap -_-

    Wow, so ZOS' patch cause people to crash in PVP and now because of that the game thinks players are hacking and bans them?
