It's a good, but imperfect change.

I love to que as a duo with my wife and just relax so now we can't play together in a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE game. Catering to the solo players is exactly how you lose customers because we pay to play online with friends. If we have to play solo why shouldn't we just go play solo player games that don't actually have a monthly fee to have everything? Lol

I am completely okay with this. I am not okay with losing an option to play with a friend.
I do not understand the logic in this change.
I'm just taunting a bit, was too satisfying to read and to write this!
Well, i don't know, I'm not convinced. Veteran players are already really frustrated having to face premades when you queue solo or with 1 person, so I can't even imagine this when you are discovering the game. It is probably more something that would disgust me from PvP and then, can't benefit to the game.
Though, I totally agree with the fact a second queue should be made for groups.
I welcome the MMR reset, as a predominantly solo players BGs might be my main thing to do, no more will i have to go against 2 guard builds making it near impossible to kill somebody on the team. But I also understand the boomers who casually play with their wives or whatever not liking this. Maybe implement an OW kinda rank system with it comes to parties, you can queue with whoever you want up until you hit a certain MMR rank, after you hit that rank you can only solo on that character.
This is one of the FEW things zos has ever done to please solo players (mainly pvpers) so ya i understand why some wont like it if it stays but im super *** excited!
Oh my god YES!
But please add another queue for grouping. Removing it completely cannot be a PERMANENT solution!
Or just allow duo's, if thats on the table, the impact of a 2 man is not comparable to a full 4 premade.
Yeah, I don't play ESO to be a solo player. If I wanted to play a solo PvP experience or play the game solo, I'd play a different game that wasn't a MMO.
There's plenty of better options to improve the queues, but ZOS is just taking the easiest band-aid route that is just going to drive more players away.
