Dragons … well naturally all roads lead to the snowy north.
Hope they give us at least a few choices of snowhat - and ones that fit our ears properly please!

Hats like this one? What a happy coincidence that this outfit should appear now, just when we are going to need it
What outfit is that?! (On console so no dlc yet 😕)
Skaal from the upcoming new life festival
Yeah that outfit and the name "Skaal" somehow make me guess that next year we going to see a Bard/Minstrel like class also.

What is it about the name Skaal that reminds people of bards and minstrels?

Because it's a similar word to Skald.

Title literally has the word spoiler in it, you have been warned. Skyrim has been contentiously teased over the past year such as in crown store backgrounds, with this dlc teasing it very hard. Below are just two references from many that have name dropped skyrim, or teased it. This is the same manner elsweyr was teased. I predict Skyrim will release 2020, which many people will argue that it makes more sense for a skyrim chapter to release in 2021 since it would be the 10th year anniversary, but oblivion's 15th year anniversary is also in 2021. So Skyrim 2020, and the rest of Cyrodil 2021.

I was going to ask this very same thing. I'm not familiar with the term Skald myself, only TES's Skaal. I can see where the confusion might arise for someone who has not experienced Solstheim before

Oh this one has travelled to the north lands before yes but always assumed the name of the people there came from perhaps an unexpressed poetic tradition they may have been unwilling to share with strangers from lands of warm sands yes.

I read this as saying ZOS wanted to go to Hammerfell but can't because they don't have all the ingredients yet. Presumably because ESO Hammefell must correspond with TES VI Hammerfell and the BGS design is not done yet.
So, we're going to Skyrim. With yet another mention of things deep underground. Mole the tinkerer in the Stitches also mentioned going underground in Skyrim.

What is deep under ground in Skyrim?

Also we still haven’t gotten the Battlemage class that was data mined years ago. If they wanted to go BIG they’d introduce this class and spell-crafting.
I personally would like a unique class that doesn’t follow the cookie cutter three tree class. Instead IF spellcrafting is implemented, it would be the first class where you could pick and choose your abilities. And with the standardization of abilities and audits in recent patches, I think this would make it more likely. Fingers crossed.

Link to the datamine? Haven't heard this yet

Just for fun:
Skal - shell in Swedish/ shall or must in Danish
Skål - cheers, or bowl in Swedish
Skaal -cheers or bowl in Danish (aa in danish is usually the same as å in swedish)
Skald - poet/bard
So no real connection, unless there's a drunken poet somewhere who surely must live in an old silt strider shell.
