    And no more dragons. (So no shouting or such skill lines - please)

    Skyrim ??!!

    Let me add to the (apparently tiny) "Gods, NOOOOOOOOO !!!!" faction.

    Started playing TES with Oblivion and got hooked instantly. Loved Oblivion. Waited for Skyrim impatiently. And was sorely disappointed.
    It was boring, most NPCs I couldn't bring myself to care for, it had (for TES standards) awful story writing, that "radiant AI quests" sucked, the whole dragonborn thing sounded totally ridiculous and so on. I mean, come on, "Let's SHOUT people to death, because dragons do so !" Yeah, sure, because "real" words of power need to be shouted. Repeatedly. *facepalm*
    Considering it comes from dragons it's probably about killing people with bad breath, and some stupid Nord (with equally bad breath) thought it was about the noise. And that's supposed to incite any "nostalgia" for me ? No thanks ! It even makes me roll my eyes when the dragons in Elsweyr shout away.
    The graphics were nice, but, well, pretty pictures can be done with any other place in Tamriel as well.

    So, with Lyris as the most boring and uninspired of the four companions as the most probable "chum" for the adventure, and a whole lot of Nords who are just plain too stubborn and proud (that's Nord for dense and egoistic) to get anything right, ever, and need my help in consequence, that will be a chapter that saves me lots of money because I'll just skip it and do all the other stuff ESO has to offer.

    Cyrodiil, on the other hand, finally opened for something useful instead of PvP - say the word and I'll be there with my wallet ready !!

    you are confusing skyrim the game with skyrim the zone....

    I'm DC die hard, I can't stand questing in EP or AD zones, so I haven't done any DLC related to them including chapters 😂

    I'm a EP diehard but i feel like DC is getting left behind.

    why? there was no nord expansion amd and nords have fewer zone whereas dc has more zones, most of the map already filled and had an expansion with thieves guild

    Oh boi that's a confusion fest. First comparing Nords to whole DC for unknown reason, then thinking Thieves Guild is an expansion. Mistakes have been done :(

    So, since I haven't seen it mentioned yet and this post contains spoilers I will ask here:
    What or who was that GIANT dragon(?) sleeping(or dead?) at The Spilled Sand, behind the ''oasis'' place where you speak with Ja'darri and Nahfahlaar. It kinda made me remember Alduin but it was way more bigger, was it Akatosh himself?

    There's a Nord lady, Vigwenn Owl-Watcher, who explains it all:

    I read this as saying ZOS wanted to go to Hammerfell but can't because they don't have all the ingredients yet. Presumably because ESO Hammefell must correspond with TES VI Hammerfell and the BGS design is not done yet.

    So, we're going to Skyrim. With yet another mention of things deep underground. Mole the tinkerer in the Stitches also mentioned going underground in Skyrim.

    HxW9tOP.jpg

    This right here is why I don't really understand why people are against a Skyrim chapter. There is still so much about that province that TESV didn't explore.

    If ESO adds Snow Whales, all is forgiven.
    Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
    Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

    Wow we get it, you hate skyrim.

    I'm sorry. You are right, that disappointment of mine apparently went deeper than I thought, and sent me off on a rant.
    The disappointment, and the complete bafflement over the last years, why ever, of all the TES games, it is Skyrim that is hyped so much. But there's no accounting for taste, and apparently many people liked it, so yay for them. :)
    If Skyrim is next I'll just sit it out and wait till ESO concentrates on other things again. (But of course I'd still prefer to get a chapter I'd actually like. No saint here.)
    you are confusing skyrim the game with skyrim the zone....

    Well, what I have seen so far of the Nord zone(s) (did quite a few side quests there and started the Nord part of the EP main quest, after doing all other stories in the game, but got sidetracked again by almost all new content), left a similar impression with me as the game did. So I'm not confusing them, but I was reminded a little of the one by the other. ;)
    But for some zones in the whole of Tamriel I can live with it, having a whole game full of it was another story, and having a chapter dedicated to it, well, seems like a waste of a chapter to me. But as I said above - others will have their fun, and I'll look forward to whatever comes after it. (Cyrodiil with "normal" content instead of PvP would be amazing indeed !)

    For those that paid attention to what Sai said in the prologue; he stated that Lyris was not able to help out during Dragonhold because something more urgent for her came up:)

    So that was already an indication.

    I have to say that if they are pursuing Morrowind I certainly wish they add the vampire clans and the unique items from the org game :) Of course, some nice stories which made the ES games unique in flavor.

    The only DC zone left is the rest of Hammerfell. But we already got 2 Hammerfell DLCs (Craglorn and Hew's Bane), so I don't think ZOS is in a rush to get a third one out there (especially since TES VI is taking place there). It's a shame they covered all the Breton and Bosmer zones in the base game. I would have loved to see a High Rock or Valenwood zone with updated textures.

    Going by those "teases" then Cyrodiil is just as likely with how much Tharn and others are talking about it and the disorder and troubles they have.

    Which I rather have than more Skyrim, blergh.

    Agh ! Thanks for pointing that out !
    Started playing TES with Morrowind and got hooked instantly. Loved Oblivion.
    That's what it should have said. (edited to correct) But it was too early in the morning, apparently, and I wrote Oblivion twice. :/

    I did indeed never play Daggerfall, because I started the whole "own PC and videogames thing" only during university, and that was somewhere around 2000. Morrowind was, in fact, my first (not-Pen&Paper) RPG. So, no Arena or Daggerfall for me.
    But I think after having done Morrowind and Oblivion there is enough of a baseline to compare (and, if so inclined, complain).

    I'd argue that the DC expansion is Orsinium. I mean it feels like an expansion, it just wasn't classified as one at the time.

    Either way, though, yes, at this point the lore ball should be back in the Covenant's court. Weird that it's not. I play EP and AD mostly but I'm not sure I'm feeling Skyrim.

    Orsinium = DC = Orcs althrough back then it wasn't considered an chapter, I think we should include it as a chapter, stating the size of the zone, regardless it did not bring too much extra
    Vvardenfeel = EP = Dunmers
    Summerset = AD = High Elves
    Elsweyr = AD = Khajiits

    Skyrim = EP = Nords

    ? = DC = Redguards
    ? = DC = Bretons
    ? = EP = Argonians
    ? = AD = Wood Elves

    If we are to speculate which zones do you think belong the the last 4 factions?

    Don't think it's Skyrim I personally think its going to be a Cyrodiil zone like Skinguard (how ever you spell it)or niben bay or both like they did north and south Elsweyr. the General of The Shield's of Senchal is marching back to Cyrodiil with a legion and a half. so anywhere from 5000 to 7000 if its the same size of a Roman legion since Imperials are a copy of Romans. Just maybe we get 4th imperial race faction only in Cyrodiil rvr but doubtful on that. Just be nice they finaly give Imperial a nice PVE zone base on them!

    Also you all comment about the hints about it being Skyrim there is a ton more hints of it being Imperial. The whole purpose we were brought here originally was to get a great weapon to help restore the Imperial Empire, and end the Three Banner War

    While I wish it wasn't the case, UESP has a link to the next possible crown crate (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:ON-card-Gloomspore_Crate_Back.png) and crowncrates.com. I don't know what the source is and it could be user created, but despite trying to convince myself it could be Telvanni Peninsula, it screams Blackreach/Falmer and therefore Skyrim.

    Theories on the possible option are a Q1 Blackreach zone/trial (flipping the usual patch order) or two dungeons that are part of an inter-connected set of tunnels in the current Skyrim zones.

    That's too tactically sound for the development team to come up with :D

    In all probability it will be the "Years of the Dragon Trilogy" For the $$$. I just hope, by all that is holy, we don't get a shout skill line. The fan service is already too much and there's so much more to explore in TES lore, and this is coming from someone who didn't start until TES III.
