The sights and sounds in ESO are effective toward creating the "feel" of the area. Dolman design, especially with a headphones on, is epic.

Not passive aggressive, or tongue in cheek, say 1 nice thing about ESO. I know it’s hard, I struggle with positivity toward Zos as well.

    I’ll start:

Its nice how beautiful the elves can be, past games in the franchise made elves very alien.

Don't really get this. They deserve the negative feedback they are getting at the moment, why try to cover it up with this?

They absolutely deserve criticism. I tell them what they do wrong all the time. If this was a terrible game I wouldn’t critique them at all, I’d just leave. I tell them what they do wrong because I actually care and wish they do better.

Sometimes all the negativity poisons your own heart instead of changing theirs so this is just an attempt to get back to equilibrium. One thread is barely a cover up.

I agree with you, and this was a good way to do it. Thanks.

-The game is very approachable for new players.

-You won't have years of grind to make up for not being here at launch.

-You can hit end-game pretty quick and get good competitive gear just by crafting or playing in a zone for a day or two.

-The subscription model/store model don't feel like they are trying to rip me off or micro-transaction me to death. You can play this game with or without a sub just fine.

-Even with all the warts, PvP is still very fun and again with just crafted/overland gear you won't be underpowered compared to those who have years invested in "PvP gear" that exists in other games.

    Only one?

    Hmmm...

Well, I for one found the combat system -amazing- aftewr coming from games where "combat" was staring at two dozend cooldown counters while trying to keep up your "perfect rotation". Here in ESO? Moving, blocking, countering, dodging, and only a small mskill selection so you gotta put some thought into it... I loved it! Still do!

Ah, what the heck... I'll just keep on...

I also really like the realistic-ish visuals, as opposed to some other MMOs that get more "cartoonish", I never could get into those... some things are a tad on the edge, but still pretty nifty! There is so much to work with in the outfit system... of course, I still wish we could have more, get makeup options and hairstyles selectable for the outfits as well, but... eh, maybe someday.

I love the detailed work they put into their region-building, I often go exploring and enjoy what I stumble over, be is a funny-death skeleton (fellow explorers know what I am talking about!) or a hidden treasure chest or even just the landscape... heck, the whole region designs are great, and they keep getting better! When I look at new stuff like Summerset of Elsweyr, it kinda makes me wish they could refit stuff into old regions, but... since they cannot get extra profit from it, this is not too likely to ever happen.

I also liked the PvP in cyrodil, and I generally suck at the PvPness... but tagging along with a warband, playing siege from one side or the other... that was something even a habitual PvExplorer like me could appreciate! And with enough friends even someone lacking in PvPness like me could have some success now and then, so... yay?

I still remember the first time I came across a Dolmen...
Oh, yes, me too! The first dolmen was a "WOW" thing! I mean, I had seen it in the prophets memories by then, but... seeing it in stonefalls, then going to pick a fight with the cultists, and getting done in by a newly appearing watcher... yikes! It was something else compared to many other games...

It's a great game, especially for those whose glass is always half-full rather than half-empty.
Agreed! Even for those who are more on the half-empty side like me there is enough to enjoy a sip!
I like levels ESO has gone to expand Khajiit lore...
All lore, actually. There is something more to be found for argonians, for altmer, for redguards, for bosmer, for orcs, for... well, pretty much everyone. That is what drew me into ESO in the first place, getting more lore from one of my favorite fantasy worlds!

More Classes are evil, EVIL I say!
Well, at least for someone like me who has been playing since launch and gets vexed when having to face the thought of needing to start yet another alt to try the new classyness, or worse, seeing a class that would have made so much more sense for a character that has been played, riding training and researched for years...
    No. New. Classes.

Instead... I would really prefer to see them "refit" new classyness in a way that -everyone- can take, be it a newly created character or one played since launch... maybe like some sort of specialization system:

Easy, there are many good things that can be said, but I’ll give ya three.

    1. Amazing combat system (even if the performance and balance of this needs improving)

    2. Very immersive and diverse elements to the game (raids, pvp, dueling, dungeons, housing, crafting, trading, fashion scrolls, fishing, thieves guild/ assassins guild, vma, guilds etc.)

    3. Continual release of new challenging content, leaving lots to do at endgame.

I really hope you are reading this thread, and can pass on to the rest of the team how much we love the game <3

In a forum in which there is normally so much criticism and negativity (including from myself ) it is like a breath of fresh air to see the enjoyment and appreciation from everyone here.

Take heart from it, before we go back to being our normal selves ( >:) ), and....

Thank you all for giving us so much fun !!!

Elder Scrolls Online is the only game I have played more or less continuously for 4 years straight and counting. It was even one of the few things that helped me stay positive during my Chemotherapy when I first purchased my copy of Tamriel Unlimited in 2015.

ESO gives me a Breast size slider on cat girls and lizard girls...

I love being able to play as a werewolf. It was the main appeal of TES V: Skyrim for me, and I'm thrilled that they brought back lycanthropy for ESO. There aren't very many games out there that let you hunt in packs like this game does!

I dislike many things, but I also like many things :)

So... I like to see what happens around me <3 Unfortunately, lot of my time is spent in city where I do crafting writs. The city itself is boring and dull, but players around can make it very fun :)
